Came here after a baseball game with 4 families...zero wait to be seated! Drinks came out quickly. Yay! We ordered lodes fries, a giant pretzel, and a couple other appetizers...all were delish and huge portions! Most of us order the brisket items...quesadilla, nachos, more fries...and all were delish and huge again. Prices were great for the portions and taste! Wait staff was friendly and really attentive...ours was training a new one and was very patient with her. We will definitely visit again if/when we are in the area!

LOVED the service here! My boyfriend and I stopped by here last Tuesday night for some food and drinks and we sat up at the bar. As soon as we sat down, we were kindly greeted and asked what we would like to drink. Even in those first moments, the service was impeccable. That continued on throughout our entire dinner there! Our server was awesome and she was so friendly and kind! I wish we had caught her name to praise her for her wonderful service, all I know is that she has a pet Maine Coon cat!! Anyways, Tuesday night is .79 wing night so that was fabulous! We are beyond happy with the service and the food and will 100% be back!

Always get some decent service here, not much to complain about. Nice friendly atmosphere managers are professional and check on tables. Food is always exceptionally good. Appetizer and drinks always come it in a timely manner worth the stop by for a couple of drinks and good time. Amazing patio that is dog friendly!

Ordered margarita no salt. Got a margarita that had the salt wiped off the rim but when I took a drink all I could taste was salt. Don't appreciate the bartenders trying to be sneaky. PEOPLE CAN ALWAYS TASTE THE SALT IN THE DRINK WHEN YOU WIPE IT OFF THE RIM BEFORE SERVING. We ordered the smoked brisket nachos which according to the menu has drizzled bbq sauce and cilantro lime crema, see pic attached of item on the menu. I even asked the waitress if cheese came on the nachos since cheese was not listed as an ingredient. She said yes so we ordered them. The nachos came out with jalapeños, onions, lettuce, tomatoes in big heaps on the nachos. After waiting 6 minutes, another waitress finally walked past our table. We pulled her aside and sent the nachos back and said we wanted the nachos that were on the menu. Another set of nachos came out but still had lettuce and tomatoes on them. We had to ask for the cilantro lime crema because it was not on the nachos We were told that there had been changes to the menu but corporate had not updated the menu. We ate, paid and got out of there. Won't be going back.

Good bar food, great patio, and awesome bar. If you live in Murphy like I do, it's nice to be able to have a few cocktails without driving 20 miles to go somewhere decent. My only problem with this place is you get some seedy individuals in the bar area late at night. read more

Absolutley love this place. I come just about every weekend when I can with some friends for good beer and good food. Our waitress Madison already knows what we want when we come through the door. Definitely recommend this place, the patio is big, lots of TVS and good environment. read more

My husband, little girl and I used to frequent Boomerjack's. When it opened, the staff was very friendly and attentive and a member of management often stopped by to see how things were going during the meal. On our last few visits, we've noticed the staff appear really uninterested in being there and have also noticed a decline in the food quality. My order was wrong on my last 3 visits in a row, and once, I waited so long for the kitchen to correct it that I canceled it because my family finished eating before a replacement was brought out. That's pathetic! They made a mistake and never bothered to correct it and I got nothing to eat that visit. My server should have gotten her manager to expo that for her or read that cook the riot act for telling her he was too busy, but she just kept telling me, "sorry, they're backed up." Also, they really need to install an air curtain or something between the dining room and the door to the patio to help keep the flies out. The flies are really obnoxious, and you just know they make their way into the kitchen, too. We really used to enjoy coming here because the food was good and the staff were so friendly. Now it's hit or miss food and apathetic staff. I hope they get their act together fast because it would be a shame to see it close down, it's a convenient location for people in Murphy. read more

This is my first review on Yelp. Ever!! Let me just say, this Boomer Jack's was incredible!! We tried to get a "bar table" since we were just having drinks, but there were non available so we went to the patio area. Because it was windy/cold we sat next to the fire pit, ordered drinks and moved closer to the heaters before our nice server, Alex, had a chance to get our drinks. Alex delivered our drinks to our new location and was super friendly. Half way through those drinks, the manager came and told us there was a table inside in the bar area. Thank goodness because it was cold outside! We thought Alex would still be our server but he wasn't. Because we moved inside, another server, Maddie, took over our bar needs. She was as great as Alex! It's hard enough to get one great server but we ended up getting two!! All we had were drinks and both servers and the manager (wish I had gotten his name) were super attentive. Both servers came over and had friendly conversation during our time there and neither my husband or myself ever had to ask for anything. Thank you to Boomer Jack's Manager, servers, Alex and Maddie, for the wonderful hospitality tonight. We will definitely go back! read more

The food here could not be more bland & boring even if they tried. Waitresses are pretty clueless too. If you do go here, don't eat...sit at the bar & drink, but watch out for the Murphy cops when you leave...they're everywhere. read more

Went here for the first time although I've lived nearby for years. It's always packed so we thought it would be pretty good. Ordered the sausage and cheese platter which looked nothing like the picture in the menu. We actually received sliced American cheese on the plate. Wasn't expecting anything fancy but was very surprised to get cheese slices. Panini was ok but nothing spectacular. Cheesesteak was pretty good. Bottled beer was warm. read more

My husband & I went to Boomer Jack's for the first time today. As a Celiac with a food allergy I was pleased (although sceptical) to see a ton of Gluten Free items on the menu. Kaci our waitress was wonderful. I've had no sickness since leaving so I know they did a great job with no cross contamination. They just earned a huge approval rating from us! had low expectations based on previous reviews having low expectations is good because you can only go up, right? decided to try it since Windy is responding to recent negative reviews and that shows a probability of improvement while our server said "no problem" in lieu of "you're welcome" to an almost unbearable degree, service was just fine; no complaints ate samples of: loaded cheese fries, bacon cheeseburger, ranch bacon ranch chicken ranch quesadillas, and onion rings; everything was generously portioned and well-executed - cheese fries were covered in all the junk you want - burger was just the right kind of pink, and oh so much bacon - quesadilla had nice grill marks and was crispy/chewy - onion rings were not greasy and had a pleasant batter drank a couple of beers and had some vodka shots; all quickly and correctly delivered pros include pleasant decor, none of my brethren are on the menu cons include the hostess who had about as much energy as a sea sponge I and The Hen will return ***three stars reflects what I think is a fair review and is not a slam; I only give 4/5 stars for absolutely mind-blowing experiences *** read more

Decent place for a meal. We got the loaded cheese fries and my family enjoyed those. The chipotle blue cheese burger was good not great. The fried pickles that came with it were greasy and overcooked so not very good there. Still a decent meal overall. The boys love the ice cream sundaes that come with the kids meals so good value there read more

I'm not a huge fan of most of their food, but I love the fried jalapenos. Those things make me really happy. They need better Ranch dressing tho, theirs is really watered down. Pass on the desserts. Its a good sports bar atmosphere tho! read more

Might be a good place to drink but lunch was horrible. Greasy burger, greasy chicken tenders, greasy chicken quesadillas, and greasy fries. The burger came dry with no mustard or mayo or barbeque even on the side just grease covered cheese and a grease soaked bun. None of us finished lunch and we all felt like we needed to brush the grease off our teeth. Yuck. I don't know if this is a result of old oil or low oil temperature, just know it was all very nasty. read more

This place started out great and it's unfortunately gone downhill since. The food used to be great with lots of flavor. Now it's bland and greasy. The staff and service has also dropped. Where there used to be fun energetic bar and wait staff. These days there are bland non attentive servers and bartenders who seem to talk more than service their customers. Used to bring our friends here to relax but unfortunately we have moved on. To bad for it's so close to our home. read more

Only been there once and that was enough. We were seated right away within 5 mins a waitress pour some cold drinks on top of my daughter. All she said was sooo sorry but that was it. No manager, no let me take care of the bill or the drinks at least no nothing. They moved us to a corner table where we were totally forgotten for a few minutes. I know it was an accident but this is where management should stand out. After that the food was okay nothing out of the ordinary and the prices were good too but I wouldn't go to a place where I know they wont offer me the best service. read more

Monday nights after a long day of, well, MONDAY and a crown & coke + a tasty hot dog made with sausage and buried under seasoned fries is only $12. The atmosphere, especially on the deck, is very nice for unwinding. Overall, my favorite sports grill type of restaurant. read more

We go in there at least once a week. The service is always really quick and attentive and the food won't blow you away but for what it is (a sports bar) it's actually not bad. The nachos are very servicable and the beer is always cold. We have a young kid and they have tablets there that the kids can play games on at the table plus they include ice cream with any kids meal, so it keeps him occupied and happy. read more

Great awesome food, service was amazing top notch across the board. The waitress was from Brazil and was one of the better servers win the greatest customer service I have had in a long time. The manager stopped by and was pleasant to speak with, she was helping clean up and doing what I am not used to so seeing now the food BAZINGA , BAM top notch man those brisqit tacos AMAZING !!!!! Sadly, if I wanted really good Irish food, or even just mediocre Irish food, I should have went somewhere else. Let's start with the Reuben egg rolls. There were 3 of them for $11. Sadly this was the start of the crappy experience. These were three of the smallest, greasiest, unfilled "spring" rolls I've ever had. They need to learn the difference between an egg roll and a spring roll. As far as the filling? No Swiss cheese was to be found, there were three strings of sauerkraut in each one, and the smallest, little sliver of corned beef was in HALF of each spring roll. As an added bonus, they were served on a plate in a puddle of grease. While the puddle of grease was the original turn off, the first bite of these little flavorless, unfilled, pieces of crap, was the icing on the cake. The guiness stew was mediocre at best, and the curry was nothing like good, McDonnell's Irish curry. The Currey was obviously "made" from a packet of Indian food one can pick up at Walmart. Overall I highly recommend going someplace else if you want good, traditional Irish food.

First off I would like to say this place used to be a place that me and my family loved and enjoyed to the point where we would go out several times a week . That's is not the case anymore...... we went there about a week ago and witnessed an employee being bullied by the other servers around her.... It was honestly sad to see and the language they used around other customers and my kids was very vulgar, as the other server walked outside they chanted " This is a bitch " multiple times and proceeded to boo the young lady. Not only was this shocking to see it was disgusting and unacceptable as you are in a work place and it is not the time for that. Again I used to love coming here but I'm afraid boomer jacks has turned into something I am not used too..... As for the food it's just seems so rushed although it took well over 30 minutes to come out. I am honestly sad to see this once wonderful restaurant is now just a trashy bar with rude workers..... hope this helps read more

Agree with Erin. We used to come here all of the time. The staff was awesome, and the manager Julie was fantastic. She always came by to say hello and make sure we were enjoying our food. You do not receive that type of service from management at other restaurants. I think she might have slept there because every time we came in, she was there. Night or day. Our recent visits have been terrible. I asked for Julie, and she is not there anymore. Makes sense in the decline of the quality of service and food... what a loss for BoomerJacks. I hope they get it together, we are giving them one more chance. If the quality of service and food has not improved, we will no longer dine there, as many of our friends have had the same negative experiences. read more

Hey Wendy, Took my daughter out for dinner and to watch Game 1 Round 1 of Stars playoffs. Ordered the 2 for $22 special and 30 min. Later, cold food and they forgot the appetizer. The food runner spoke fast about it being something something jalapeños but we waited on mozzarella sticks so I don't understand. Our waitress avoided our table and it was obvious. I suppose I should apologize for the inconvenience since I am the only one who seemed to care. This was my 3rd visit and last. Buffalo Wild Wings isn't far but the visits there aren't filled with attitude and cold food so you make the call. Boomer jacks, thanks for ruining my 8 year olds dinner out with Dad. Don't get me wrong I love this place and the food is great but the manager Shawn is awful. We were in there the other day and over heard him tell a pregnant waitress that she is fat and has a double chin we were like WOW did he just say that and not only that when my daughter got up to go to the restroom he watch her butt the whole time needless to say if he is there we will not be eating there so from now on we will call before we go and if he is there we will just go does where. This place boasts a invalid 30.06/30.07 sign which welcomes criminals to carry guns because they know law abiding citizens will be defenseless.
