    Mini golf
    Brian F.

Boomers is a classic amusement park located in Irvine. It has attractions like go karts, laser tag, arcade games, mini golf, bumper boats, and batting cages. There's also a full bar and amusement park food like pizza. We played 18 holes of mini golf at night which was fun. You can pay for things individually or you can buy a bundle or unlimited pass. It's a casual spot that's family friendly but also good for dates and group outings. It's a fun activity for a couple hours.

Never knew this place existed until this past weekend, it is expensive but if you stay for a few hours it makes up for it with the unlimited pass. This past weekend the downfall we had were two of the rides were closed down. Tons of parking, never had an issue with staff everyone was acknowledgeable, nice and explained how the process works. Bought the tickets online to save, this place has rides, arcades, and food. I suggest going right when it opens, the mini golf gets super crowded so the kids and I just kept playing in random courses to avoid the long lines. Surprisingly the food wasn't bad at all, it is pricey, but favorable. I also enjoyed the fact that the claw machine wasn't a scam like most places, my kids enjoyed the fact that they were able to win plushies that was the highlight of my time.

Holy cow this place is expensive. So grateful to my dad for paying for us all to go. It's $50 per kid to have unlimited for the day, including 20 credits at the arcade, which barely covers anything. My kids loved the go-karts and the starship zero gravity spinning ride and laser tag. Go when it opens because it gets really crowded in the second half of the day. Boomers has been around basically my whole life so I'm happy for them that they've found a way to stay open all this time. Food reviews- expensive but pretty good. My bro liked the quesadilla, the kids liked their chicken, my dad liked his burger, and my other bro and I shared the nacho avalanche- definitely don't try to eat the nachos alone. They're huge. Also I added steak for protein- turns out they come with meat even if you don't ask for it (chili) so no need to pay more for that. And if you're vegetarian, now you know not to get those. The chili is kinda spicy and pretty gross so I wouldn't get those again.

Lots of parking. Great service. Clean restrooms. Not too much for little kids under 5 to do. But this was a great experience. Came to a birthday party here. The Weber in the party room was beyond great. He went over and beyond. All of the workers for the rides were amazing except one girl. We didn't get her name but everyone there tried to avoid every ride she had to work at. If you're not going to be nice, find another job where you don't deal with people Other than that, it was a fun time. Nov 7 Sunday I beleive it was 3 or 4 pizzas, wings and two sodas and one kids drink

    Two mini golf courses

Nice facility for a good time out for adults and kids alike. I've been here a few times the past year or so and have tried pretty much all of their offerings. Mini golf is $18/adult. There are two courses and each course takes about an hr or so. You can pay once and do both courses. I went most recently on a Friday evening and it was pretty crowded though, so I would say maybe half the time on the course was waiting for the party in front of you. Just keep that in mind. The go-karts are pretty standard. The wait for the go-karts can be long because the turn cycle can take awhile since the workers need to check if everyone is properly wearing a seatbelt, etc. The laser tag was solid. Sometimes the guns don't work so just make sure you test your equipment before the game starts, otherwise you really can't participate and you have to wait in line again (this happened to me once...). I would avoid the arcade games. They are too expensive. Some games are $2-3 just for one game. The batting cages are pretty neat. Not sure how many other batting cages there are in OC. But here it is $5 for a round of 25 balls. They also have bats and helmets you can borrow for free. Overall a decent place to hang out and have fun. It can be easy to spend a lot though so I would limit yourself to 1-2 attractions or just get the all-day pass. Even then I think the all-day pass is $45 so still pricey.

My son and I just left Boomers in Irvine for his 6th grade promotion celebration and I wanted to take the time to thank your AMAZING staff! Literally everyone we came in contact with today (06/03/26) was fantastic! We got the unlimited wristbands so we were all over the place all afternoon until closing. Special shout-out to the following staff members: go karts (especially), entry/golf counter, laser tag guys, snack bar, and even the line monitor at the go karts attraction around 2pm, making sure the field trip kids weren't jumping the line (thank you!! - I know that's probably not the easiest/most exciting job, but us parents appreciate it!). I haven't been to a Boomers since the one in Ontario closed years ago and today far surpassed any experience I ever had there! Thank you so much for an awesome day with my kid! We had a blast!!

I come here for the batting cages to practice for my softball games. The pros are that it is relatively not busy when I come, however, the machines are hit or miss in terms of actually working and pitching at the right level and a whole host of other factors. This is a very convenient location and the employees are nice so all in all I would come back. $4.00 for 25 pitches or you can get a value 6pack for $20.00. If you have the Bowlero summer pass with arcade, it works here also! Casual. Please come and create your own adventure.

Boomers still really needs a bit of TLC or maybe a makeover! I came here last night for a birthday party and while it was very fun, I can see some areas where Boomers could be a lot better. First off, the area where you eat was so LOUD...I'm thinking that's where the music speakers must be. We literally had to yell to hear one another. Also, they have giant TVs up, but I noticed that they had the intro screen on, versus playing the actually movie. They could also use the TVs to play sports games for the parents while kids are playing. The food was what you'd expect. Pizza was pretty good, and then they have fries, chicken strips, dip n dots, icees, etc. I played laser tag for the first time ever, despite coming to Boomers since I was a little kid. It's $18 per person, which felt pretty high, since you only get 10 minutes. The space inside to play was fun but pretty basic. There were some hiding areas and red and blue colored lights - I'd love them to use a black light or have some more fun colors. It smelled like they are in need of some new carpet or a deep cleaning for sure. It has a real musty smell. The bathrooms were atrocious. Many toilets weren't flushing, stalls without toilet paper and trash on the ground. Every time I have been to Boomers lately I just think about how they could really put in a little $ to make it that much better! I'm sure they're making decent money, cuz it's not super cheap. I do love the mini golf and all around nostalgia this place brings!

absolutely beautiful if you go at around 5pm because of the sunset. it overlooks such gorgeous skyline. the golf course are pretty cool too, worth the money for what you pay, nothing too cheap or too expensive. they have an arcade inside too. they have tons of other stuff that are kid and family friendly and isn't too pricey so highly recommend checking it out!

I took my family to Boomers during spring break and got a great deal! Includes: All Day Unlimited Attractions PLUS 50 Arcade Credits! $39.99 per person. We love the array of attractions including go-karts, bumper boats, and mini golf for all ages! The arcade was fun too. Lots of games and prizes. Food area was decent but expensive.

Highly recommend unlimited games & cabana for your parties with all games, go-karts, golf, unlimited soda for 1-2 hours. There are additional options available for you to add. It's very nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the weather and the views. The staff at our cabana were very nice and attentive. Drinks were refilled very often. Recommendation for the venue: Our go-karts and other players' kept on breaking down in the middle of the route. It's very annoying. Please have the staff refill gas or check up every few rides. The food was ok but fresh made. $11 for a cup of beer is a little high but you pay to enjoy the games here. Will come back for our next party :)

I've been seeing Boomers ever since I moved to Orange County -- it's been around 17 years now. Yesterday, since my kids had the day off (and it was a Monday), I decided to finally take them there. When I told them, the first thing my son asked was, "What's the rating like?" I brushed it off and told him it couldn't be that bad. We bought the all-day pass, which costs $44 per person, and went in soon after opening. Unfortunately, we had to wait quite a bit for the rides to start since we were the only ones there for a while. Most of the other guests seemed more interested in miniature golf. There were only six rides total, and most of them felt old, slow, and honestly a bit boring for my 14- and 9-year-old. The only ones they really enjoyed were the Starship and the go-karts -- those were actually fun. Everything else felt more suited for much younger kids and definitely not worth the price. If you're into mini golf or batting cages, you might have a better time. The arcade games were decent, but i had to pay extra as the all day pass has only a very limited amount , which added to the disappointment. Would I recommend Boomers? No, I wouldn't. Would I go again? Definitely not. For the same money, I'd rather take my kids to Knott's Berry Farm or even Dave & Buster's for a better arcade experience. One last thing -- most of the employees looked tired and not very enthusiastic, except for two girls running the go-karts, who were actually friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. My daughter named the place Gloomers.

    Mini golf night!

We came here for our church youth group outing. Our students really enjoyed the mini golf and I appreciated the outdoors area where us parents can mingle. There are a lot of different rides for all age groups. I wish there was a season pass as the price is kind of expensive.

When you walk in, it's a little confusing at first since it's not super clear where to go and the place is pretty spacious. We initially went to the cashier, and they directed us to the computers on the side to sign the waivers first, then come back to pay. After we paid, they told us the wait would be about 30 minutes, but surprisingly they called our names within just 2 to 3 minutes while we were still walking around. That was a nice bonus. :) They provided headsocks for free, and we didn't have to pay extra or sign up for any annual membership. Each race is supposed to be 12 laps, but if someone finishes early, you might end up doing less. One of the boys completed 11 laps, but didn't affect the experience at all. As we were exiting, we saw a podium area so kids hopped on for a quick photo. I've been here before for birthday parties and even with coworkers, and every time has been consistently fun. The staff was friendly and everything ran smoothly. Not really sure why this place gets some negative reviews. I haven't experienced anything negative. Would definitely come back.

We ordered food and had seating in a private room as there were 30 of us. For the race you're not allowed to intentionally bump others to get a lead otherwise the staff will slow down your vehicle. So if you're placed in the back it's a challenge to take the lead as difficult to pass others. Overall a fun experience

I came to K1 Speed earlier tonight hoping to have a good time. My wife accompanied me, and…read moreinitially I thought everything would go smoothly. Unfortunately, that was not the case. When I arrived, I was informed that the wait time for my first race would be over an hour. I accepted that and decided to order food while I waited. After waiting approximately 30 minutes, the food arrived undercooked and incomplete. I returned it and requested a refund rather than canceling my visit entirely because I still wanted to participate in the races. When I finally got into my first race, there was an issue with my kart. The problem was eventually corrected, and I completed the race. However, during the second race, the kart failed completely. I started the race in a leading position, but my kart stopped functioning and effectively ended my race. At that point, I requested a refund because I do not believe it is acceptable to pay premium prices for an experience where the equipment is not operating properly. The karts should be maintained and race ready, especially in a competitive environment where lap times and performance records are an important part of the experience. I come to K1 Speed because I enjoy racing and competing, not because I want to spend my time dealing with equipment failures. I have spent a significant amount of money with K1 Speed over time and generally enjoy racing on your tracks. That is why I was particularly disappointed with this location. In my experience, other K1 Speed locations maintain a much higher standard. Additionally, the condition of the bathrooms was below expectations. For example, water was coming out of the flush button when it was pressed, which is clearly a maintenance issue that needs attention. I genuinely enjoy K1 Speed and would like to continue visiting. My recommendation is that this location receive additional attention regarding maintenance, cleanliness, and equipment reliability. There appear to be operational issues that need to be addressed. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works to bring this location up to the standard I have experienced at other K1 Speed venues.

One of the reasons this attraction remains popular is that it allows children to feel like they're behind the wheel of a real car. It's a great opportunity for younger guests to experience the basics of steering and navigating a roadway in a safe and controlled environment. The vehicles can accommodate either a single rider or two passengers, making it a fun experience for both kids and adults. Children who meet the height requirement may drive on their own, while younger children can ride with an adult. While the technology and ride system may not be as advanced as some of Disneyland's newer attractions, Autopia remains a nostalgic favorite that continues to create lasting memories for families. If you're looking for a classic Disneyland experience or have a child eager to "drive" for the first time, Autopia is well worth a visit.
