Once I reached the counter, the gentleman helped me with selecting a coffee and even answered a few clarifying questions I had about ingredients. I got 2 cortados (I drank the first one so fast that I needed another one), a vanilla latte (sweet but balanced), and two croissants (almond and chocolate). My friends got a cheesecake latte (cupcake dominant and didn't have enough cookie butter flavoring), a white mocha hot chocolate (pretty good), and a blueberry muffin (amazingly soft, flavorful, and balanced). I asked the barista for a recommendation and specifically mentioned that I wanted a coffee that wasn't too sweet. She recommended a drink, and I trusted her suggestion. Unfortunately, when I tried it, it was much sweeter than I was expecting. I understand recommendations are subjective, so I don't blame anyone,it just wasn't what I was looking for.
