Once I reached the counter, the gentleman helped me with selecting a coffee and even answered a few clarifying questions I had about ingredients. I got 2 cortados (I drank the first one so fast that I needed another one), a vanilla latte (sweet but balanced), and two croissants (almond and chocolate). My friends got a cheesecake latte (cupcake dominant and didn't have enough cookie butter flavoring), a white mocha hot chocolate (pretty good), and a blueberry muffin (amazingly soft, flavorful, and balanced). I waited about 8-10 minutes for my order, and by the time my food came out, a table had opened up, so timing worked out perfectly. The space has a really nice vibe overall and feels like a good place to sit for a bit, catch up with someone, or get some work done. Overall, solid experience. Just a single lonely and sad looking sandwich that had gudah (sp?) cheese on it, which I wouldn't like anyway. Without prompting, the clerk pointed me to a nearby Subway sandwich place, and a McDonald's. That's friendly customer service, while providing me with information that I can use. I'll be back here for my morning coffee during the week.

Their iced latte, a common favorite, is also excellent with the perfect balance between espresso and milk. You know it's good when it still tastes excellent even after the ice melts a little bit. While they do charge an extra $0.95 for alternative milks (boo!), they have pistachio milk which is honestly the supreme coffee milk. It's totally worth it. Located directly across the street from Discovery Green, parking can be a bit tricky. I recommend downloading the ParkHouston app and grabbing a street parking spot around the corner. It's just $0.70 for 15 minutes of parking and you can easily add time through the app from your current location. Definitely check them out!
