Pad Thai with very little chicken. And Peanut Sauce on the side.

Went for lunch a week ago. First-time visit. Ordered Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai. NOT much chicken on the plate, 4 tiny pieces. And 4 Small shrimp. ( Shrimp was Fishy tasting.) I asked for more Chicken. Which they gave me. ** But no taste in the chicken as it is Steamed!! Asked for Extra peanut sauce on the side, which helped with adding flavor. Ambiance Asian Decor. Service was slow, even with only 3 tables of customers.

Solid 3+/4- The owner is SUPER friendly. The food was ok. The decor was ok. Phad Siew was good. Thai tea taste was off.

Had our first visit here and everything was amazing! We ordered the yellow curry, chicken noodles, egg rolls, and sautéed beef with veggies all super flavorful and fresh. Definitely coming back

This is a family owned business...the food here is so good! The dining area is well lit, clean and spacious...good for large group...they have a large menu selection. I came with a large group and most of the dishes were seafood amd vegetables which looked fresh and flavorful. I love yellow chicken curry and have had it from many other places, but this chicken curry was soooo good! Too bad I live far away otherwise this place would be my go-to place for curry. Service is fast and friendly. Would definitely come back to try other dishes...

Big open space, very friendly waitress, and a good Pad Thai & Hot Tea for a Rainy Day. Pretty darn good. The Pad Thai included chicken & 2 plump shrimp. The top note is sweet and there's plenty of peanuts. I liked it very much. Simple decor, lots of booths and friendly service. Great spot.

I'm updating this because my friend and I ate here last night, and I'm removing one star because the pad Thai she got was not spicy. My red curry chicken was awesome! I loved it :) Next I will try the soup option with meatball, other than Bazan Thai, this is my go to place. I'll update again! Thank you Boonie Thai, sorry for no photos this time :)

The owner uses authentic imported fresh Thai flat rice noodles, the best rices, all ingredients are fresh and well prepared (meat proteins never tough) and their natural meaty flavors come through well. The real standouts to me are their curries: Red, Yellow, Green and Massamun. If you love eggplant, there are several dishes to please. Fresh aromatics, never frozen or dried, so the sauce flavors sing! With food costs soaring since...well, you know when...the owner and cooks still come through with generous portions of delicious favorites. They do a steady business of takeout orders, but you can order ahead by phone or at the convenient kiosk just inside the door. If you have questions, proceed to the counter where you will be taken care of. Service is prompt and pleasant. Side dishes can be ordered to create a varied meal for gatherings. I love that they offer perfectly cooked SHORT grain Brown Rice. I find their pricing has always been fair, even in today's inflation when you consider the care in sourcing and preparing.

The coconut-based soup with combo meat was extremely sweet--so sweet it was impossible to eat--and the meat was dry and unpleasant. The curry was also loaded with sugar. No one asked what spice level we wanted, so we expected a traditional spicy curry, but it was just sweet. Food arrived in the paper plates and bowls, plastic "silverware "... Service is not traditional table service--you order at the cashier when you walk in, then find a seat, and they bring the food to your table. The place is quite small, with only about six tables. Service is great and this place is immaculate. Not a spec of dirt or grime anywhere, not even on the windowsills or bathroom. There is countertop, sushi style spectator seating right near the kitchen, about 6 to 8 seats, or you can catch a high top or regular table nearby. Looks like there's about eight tables total. Medium spicy here on my Pad Thai is probably leaning more towards very spicy. I would opt for mild and then use the hot condiments they provide at the table. Tons of jumbo sized perfectly cooked shrimp and fresh vegetables. I asked for extra sauce because some places go light and it makes it dry. Noodles were cooked to perfection. My wife's chicken was perfectly seasoned, very savory with a nice basil flavor. Sauce was delicious and the vegetables were cooked perfect. This place was so great we are going to plan a trip back to the area as we were traveling from out of state on a whim getaway, and we will definitely be returning to try something else on the menu. Do not miss this place if you're nearby.

Disappointed is not enough to describe how my family and I felt but definitely wasted our time. Stood there looking like a fool for ~10 minutes for nothing. Restaurant in general was very small so it was busy. Was excited to try this place out due to the previous reviews but leaving this review to give a fair warning. Next time I'm in the area and desperate for Thai food and have a lot of time to burn, I may try again.

I love coming here whenever I get the chance--the ambiance and atmosphere make it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The food is excellent. Their take on pho soup is especially well executed and has quickly become one of my favorite dishes. The flavors are balanced and authentic, and you can really tell the care that goes into preparing it. Coming from Los Angeles, where great pho is easy to find, it's refreshing to be able to enjoy a bowl on the Central Coast that's made properly and with such attention to flavor. Thai Villa has definitely become one of my go-to spots.

Because of that experience, I was excited to become a regular customer. Unfortunately, my second visit completely changed my opinion. I placed a takeout order for four dishes (around $100) and requested some sauces and plastic utensils with my order. When I arrived, I gave my name and was told my order was ready. I then politely asked for the utensils and sauces I had requested, and the employee helping me immediately responded with an attitude. Despite ordering multiple entrees, I was given just one packet of sriracha and one packet of hoisin sauce. When I asked for enough sauces and utensils for the meal, it became clear that this was somehow an issue. To make matters worse, after I had already given my name, I was asked to produce my receipt, and the interaction became increasingly hostile. As someone who has spent years working in hospitality, I understand that great service is what turns first-time guests into loyal customers. We were friendly, tipped well on our first visit, and came back because we genuinely enjoyed the food. I expected the same level of hospitality in return. And the gentlemen who helped us the first time Told me his family was in the business for years in socal and he should be the only person interacting with guests. The food is genuinely very good, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, the rude and confrontational customer service completely overshadowed the quality of the meal. Imagine getting upset your customers want utensils and sauce after spending $100. What an absolute gut punch. Stepping over dollars to pick up pennies. I won't be returning. If customer service matters to you, I'd think twice before ordering take out from here.

They let us sit inside the restaurant and a little hidden from everyone else which was perfect because my small dog could be barking every chance she got. Now before I visited, I saw the overall rating on Yelp isn't that great, but I assume it could be something totally unrelated to the flavor of the food itself because the pictures look great to me. And I'm Asian so I know what a good asian food looks like. Well I can tell you, everything we ordered were delicious, no notes! We got the lumpia, calamari, and fried rice. The fried rice is noted as market price so we didn't know how much it would be. I asked what comes with it and it didn't come with steak or prawns so I assumed it would be okayish. Well the fried rice was delicious and big portions with some sausages and fried egg, but holy moly it was the priciest fried rice! Haha $40. It's okay tho, still glad we tried it. The lumpia was yummy, a little on the salty side but very enjoyable. Now the calamari was the winner to me! I think it might be the best calamari I've had. Not only cos the calamari itself was good, not chewy, and crispy on the outside; but also everything else that came with it to cut the richness! I think it's some pickled onions, might be some kimchi too. Just try it! I would love to try the fried chicken also but they're sold out. Next time call them first to make sure they spare you some!

Located right at the corner of a V intersection, but the parking lot is tiny, maybe enough for 6-8 cars max. The inside is not any bigger. With about 6 tables total, it's actually never completely full every time we have been here. What surprises us each and every time is the amount of to go orders they get! Literally, at least 1 call in/walk in/online order every 10-15 mins! Having been to several Thai restaurants on the Central Coast, Tasty Thai is the cheapest so far out of all the ones we've been to here! Their portion is also good for at least a couple dollars cheaper per dish compared to anywhere else! With the exception of the Panang curry, which has great flavor, but just too watery like a soup and not enough veggies/toppings, every single dishes we have tried here have been great to excellent! Our go to dishes every single time are satay chicken 10/10, beef salad 9/10, pad see ew with beef 8/10, and we would make the effort to try a new dish for that second entree. Excellent mom's and pop's restaurant! Give them a try! You will not be disappointed.
