Pumpkin curry with rice and fried tofu.
Gee D.

The depth of complexity in the curry was profound and satisfying. I would have this dish anytime: celebration, rough day or cure an ailment. Aromatic rice with the Pumpkin curry created a disappearing act before my eyes. The fried tofu was perfect. The owners and staff are considerate and chat with customers, whether you're a regular or just passing through. Tasty Thai gives a "I've made it home" vibes.

First time customer. My Grandson and I came for Lunch last week. I ordered rge Coconut Creme Thai soup, with soft Tofu, small mushrooms, lemon grass, lime flavor and a sprinkling of Chili oil on top. Best soup I have ever had! ( I used to order it in Palm Desert, when I lived there.) Also ordered Pad Thai with Chicken. My Grandson ordered Spring Rolls and a Shrimp and vegee dish! Service was great! Its a small cozy Cafe. Will be back to try other items on the Menu!

Always good We order several times a month and enjoy their vegetarian vegan options. My Husband Ras Danny is fussy about his food and is vegan so it is difficult to find food he actually will eat or likes. We're thankful for the good food and service locally. I like the coconut tofu soup

Big portions and delicious. Better than the Thai spots in La. Was impressed by the flavors with the pumpkin curry. Service was quick and kind and offered additional free rice. Portions can serve 1.5 meals so it's good value too. Parking lot fits 5 and rest is street. Inside is around 12 tables. Would definitely come back!

drunken noodles

flavor is lacking. ordered the papaya salad, pho, and drunken noodles. viet pho- noodles are overcooked and lacks any flavor in broth. beef was very tough drunken noodles- portion size is very small probably like a 1/3 of what they normally serve in restaurants. noodles are literally falling apart and broken up lmao like what did you do to my noodles. dish was very watery, sweet, and salty. surprisingly, this was my least favorite dish yet the most expensive papaya salad- i'd say this was average. wasn't bad but wasn't good either.

Got the chicken satay and the yellow curry with beef. Amazing peanut sauce and flavors in the curry. Finished off with mango sticky rice. Cute mom and pops restaurant, would come back for the great food and price!

Basil fried rice with chicken

If you enjoy Thai food, you'll want to check out Tasty Thai! We love their basil fried rice!! We were in the mood for something spicy. Called in an order for 2 basil fried rice with chicken (husband orders extra chicken). And it was absolutely delicious. The portions were huge! I had a ton of chicken in mine and husband said he had chicken in every bite. The seasoning and spices were perfect. I love spicy food and get level medium. It is perfect for me but could be too spicy for others so be cautious. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The food was ready when husband got there to pick up. Staff was very friendly on the phone. Will definitely be back!

Great food, fast service nothing else to say, but the review must be at least eighty five characters, so I'm adding a bit on.

According to the new owner, they're not associated with the last one in any way. Chapter 25 has its own theme that I love which is "kindness". You'll see stickers, art works, and signs both inside the store and outside that promoting kindness. I am obsessed with matcha drinks and matcha anything! If the place offers matcha drinks or desserts, I'd have to try it. From all the pictures on Yelp, their strawberry matcha seems like the most popular item, so of course I had to try it my first time here. The matcha is ceremonial quality, whisked and made as ordered, then pair with fresh strawberry puree pieces and milk. I have tried matcha drinks/latte from pretty much every coffee shops around that offer them, Chapter 25 is hands down the best one! Glad Chapter 25 is here. I just have to control myself and not come here more than a couple times a week lol.

It's very misleading from the front as it just looks like a little corner shop and you're not sure what's in it. The inside is very simple, not much decor or anything going on, but they offer a wide variety of smoothies, teas, fresh pressed juices, and other drinks including Boba. I got the berry smoothie with protein, and it was absolutely delicious. My friend got the strawberry fruit tea with Boba and it was also freaking delicious! Highly, highly recommend this spot! I heard they also have a second location in Rio Grande so I'm excited to try it out too.

I wish the four season milk tea be more strong on the tea side. The brown sugar drinks was delicious. I was surprised with their prices too, we paid under $12 for 2 of the 16oz drinks with added toppings which is really cheap here in the central coast compare to other places. Will come back to try more drinks. Keep in mind they only have 2 people working so might be a little wait though. Really pleased that now we don't have to drive far away to get boba :) come and support small biz guys

There were sufficient drawings and descriptions accompanying each drink which provided an idea of what was actually inside! Despite much debate, I kept coming back to the Taro Milk Tea which is what I ended up ordering. I also added boba and cheese foam. After a few short minutes, the drink came out. My mom and I were heading out of town so I didn't get to trying it until I was walking to the car. It was really delicious! The drink was creamy and had a good taste of taro. The boba pearls were the perfect texture. I was admittedly nervous for the cheese foam since I've actually had experiences where I haven't enjoyed certain shop's cheese foams but this one was delicious! Happy to say the whole drink worked well together. TEAklish gave me exactly what I was looking for and would come again! Definitely worth checking out.

Wow! The flavors at Flare blew us away…read more My hubby and I were looking for a new place to try for our date night. I remembered the opening soon signs for Flare when we used to live by Ryon Park. Since we moved, I'd almost forgotten so I was excited to finally try their food. The staff that greeted and tended to us were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere has a hole-in-the-wall vibe with its intimate seating. The back tables have glowing lights like stars which was a nice touch. That being said, I feel like the interior could use some more color. Maybe some Japanese or Korean art would be cool. We started out with some milk tea. I ordered the tiger milk tea which was sweet with caramel and I added honey Boba. For the food, they have hot pots! A unique offering for the Lompoc area. The food at Flare is mostly Korean and Japanese inspired food with some California influences. Like the beef Bulgogi fries my husband ordered-- were bomb. They came with a spicy mayo like sauce that was a savory and sweet suprise. The saltiness of the beef and melted cheese-- ultimate comfort food. It would've been even better with avocado. I ordered a fusion rice bowl. At first I was skeptical about the sauce the shrimp came with. But after the first bite my mouth was bursting with flavor. Freshness from the sour cream mixed perfectly with the mildly spicy red sauce dressing the shrimp (no tails which I appreciated). Little bits of cilantro mixed into the warm jasmine rice balanced out the salty and savory shrimp. Add in the freshness of the crisp lettuce, pico de gallo and corn. Overall, it created a beautiful balanced dish I didn't know I needed; a meal that satisfied my soul. Next time we come I can't wait to try their hot pots! Highly recommend you check out Flare.
