This place is our go-to for Filipino food! We love their pork BBQ and dinakdakan. Their sisig bangus and pinakbet are also good! The people here are so welcoming and nice! The owners are down-to-earth and fun to talk to! They always have Tagalog songs playing in the background, and you feel you are back in the Philippines.

So outstanding. Been here a few times each trip is amazing. The pata is indulgent. Crispy and fatty. Unctuous meat. Lechon is great too. Great opportunity to challenge the palate and try some new textures of the tendons and gristle. Not to be avoided, but as a contrast of flavor and texture. The tamarind veggie soup is a great counterpart to some of the fattier pork options. Longaniza is tasty. Bangus sizig was a great surprise. Had my first Halo-Halo there too. Loved it. For value, easily one of the best restaurants near SLO.

We were on our way to Morro Bay and needed to stop for gas and grab lunch since we hadn't eaten yet. Not knowing where to go, we Googled Filipino restaurants nearby and found Food Trip. It was a great decision! As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Relly. We asked for recommendations, and he suggested their best sellers: crispy pata and tortang talong. We ordered both, along with garlic fried rice and pork BBQ--and we were not disappointed! The crispy pata was perfectly crispy on the outside, while the meat inside was incredibly tender. The tortang talong and pork BBQ were equally delicious. To top it off, Relly treated us to a complimentary ube ice cream affogato, which was the perfect ending to our meal. Relly and Jeremy were so friendly and accommodating. We mentioned we were visiting the area, and Relly kindly recommended places to explore and where to find fresh seafood. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we'll definitely come back next time we're in the area!

It was delicious, authentic flavor! Service was great, he explained what the items were there, they also.

Supper authentic and friendly, was finally able to visit this restaurant with my family and will go back to try other dishes. I like the a la cart aspect to the menu that way we can try multiple proteins, very humble server and pretty fast service for only seeing one server and assuming one or two cooks

I haven't had Filipino food since 2000. I was so excited to try FoodTrip and they did not disappoint. Friendly service, outstanding food, generous portions. I had the Sisig Bangus and, if you'll pardon the pun, it was BANGIN'! Kinda like Filipino ceviche but not as citrusy. I'm definitely gonna be a regular at this place. So many good things on the menu to try!

Who knew that you can find a rare Filipino restaurant in Santa Maria! We enjoyed our meals so much, we went twice. We're a big fan of grilled meats such as the chicken inasal and the lechon kawali. The pinakbet (veggies) was very authentic. I'm glad we found this location courtesy of Yelp. It was a 10 minute drive from our hotel. The host was very friendly. The food came out super fast, we didn't have to wait long. The prices were affordable as well.

Food Trip has excellent authentic Filipino dishes. Their shrimp sinagang, bulalo, pancit and pakbet were all very delicious. The owners were very friendly and made us feel like family. Strongly recommend you eat at this awesome Filipino restaurant in Santa Maria.

Stopped in for first time and was really surprised at the quality and taste of the food. Big servings plenty of options. The flavors were really good absolutely will be going back for more.

Service was accommodating and lovely. The food was delicious. So many core memories surfaced with the Filipino dishes! Felt like home!

Decided to get the family out to try something new for dinner on a Saturday night. It wasnt too busy when we came in, only one other table therr at the time. But it was definitely a lot more filled by the time we left. Service was friendly and quick. They were very helpful with any questions we had and gave great recommendations. We were a bigger party so we ordered a bunch of different things and shared. Unfortunately they had run out of the sizzling sisig! Everything we ordered was phenomenal but one of the fam faves was ghe crispy pork (lechon kawali?). Will definitely be bringing the family back. One small thing is it can get smokey in there. A better ventilation for the restaurant could help when it really starts getting busy.

I have to say, this was one of the best most enjoyable experiences I've had in Santa Maria since I've been here for the past Month. My boyfriend and I are in town for a year, originally from Los Angeles where Filipino food is easily accessible but this was our only option in town so we decided to stop by and give it a go. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner, Relly, who explained their menu in detail and assigned us a table. Through conversation, he and my boyfriend established they were both from the same general area in the Philippines which was nice. He shared a story as to how the restaurant concept came about and his family story which was nice! We enjoyed our conversation and feel we made a genuine connection. We decided to keep it simple and try their Longsilong, Pancit Bihon, and Lumpia. Everything tasted very fresh and full of flavor. Filipino food can often times be extra greasy and somewhat heavy but theirs felt much lighter. Emphasis on the freshness! Very happy with their food quality overall. Their portions were also very large which was nice. We had enough to take home and have as a late night snack! I also want to call out how crisp the cabbage was in the Pancit, you can tell it was very fresh! Relly was kind enough to deliver a complimentary Halo-Halo to our table as a welcome gift which I thought was very thoughtful and kind. We were actually shocked at how large and delicious it was! I cant give this spot enough praise! What Relly has done for himself and family by creating this incredibly delicious concept is amazing and from what I can see, our community appreciates it as well. We'll definitely be back to try some of their specialty and traditional menu items soon. Thanks Relly & Food Trip!

REVIEW: We're locals and we were pretty scarred from the experiences we had when Shake Shake was Bamboo Bamboo, so it took us until tonight to try it and oh my goodness!! We've seriously been missing out!! I got the House Special Beef Rib with round noodles (I requested spicy, but it's not a spicy dish unless you ask) and it was off the hook!!! (They'll offer to cut the beef upon delivery.) The beef was sooo tender and the broth, amazing!! And the noodles?? Shut. Right. Up!! My husband had the minced pork with flat noodles and he ate the whole thing (that rarely happens). The wontons were delicious, also, and the service was so great! Super clean (although I didn't use the restroom, so I cannot review that). We're definitely adding this place to our go-to list and we'll eventually try everything on the menu. CONCLUSION: This place is a must!! Two enthusiastic thumbs up! Fine holiday fun!!

Noodles are hand pulled and made to order. I prefer flat wide noodles for their chewiness and overall texture, although my wife seems to prefer the round noodles. The House Special Beef Rib Noodle was really good and well balanced in flavor. It had some chili oil in the broth even though there was no indication of it being spicy on the menu. Peanut & Sesame Sauce Cold Round Noodle was also good but a bit too salty. Had to mix it really well to even out the saltiness. Service was minimal. You scan a QR code to place your order and they bring the food to your table. Parking in this area sucks. Had to park several blocks away in a residential area and had to walk.

Run by a wonderful husband-and-wife duo--with Kelly running the front of the house with genuine warmth and his wife working culinary magic in the kitchen--this restaurant truly treats you like family from the moment you walk in. Over the years, we've sampled most of the menu, though we always find ourselves gravitating back to our tried-and-true favorites: the fresh summer rolls, the red curry, and the Tom Yum soup. Having tried Thai cuisine in major cities all over the world, from London to San Francisco, we can honestly say that the flavors here hold their own against the very best we've ever experienced. The dining room is wonderfully simple and unpretentious, but because the food is so exceptional, word is definitely out. Seating is limited, so you'll want to arrive right when they open to avoid a wait--if you show up too late, they might not have room. If you are craving authentic, world-class Thai food paired with peerless hospitality, Tasty Thai is second to none. Just keep the timing in mind, and you are guaranteed an unforgettable meal!

Located right at the corner of a V intersection, but the parking lot is tiny, maybe enough for 6-8 cars max. The inside is not any bigger. With about 6 tables total, it's actually never completely full every time we have been here. What surprises us each and every time is the amount of to go orders they get! Literally, at least 1 call in/walk in/online order every 10-15 mins! Having been to several Thai restaurants on the Central Coast, Tasty Thai is the cheapest so far out of all the ones we've been to here! Their portion is also good for at least a couple dollars cheaper per dish compared to anywhere else! With the exception of the Panang curry, which has great flavor, but just too watery like a soup and not enough veggies/toppings, every single dishes we have tried here have been great to excellent! Our go to dishes every single time are satay chicken 10/10, beef salad 9/10, pad see ew with beef 8/10, and we would make the effort to try a new dish for that second entree. Excellent mom's and pop's restaurant! Give them a try! You will not be disappointed.

The Khao Soi had egg noodles and chicken in a curry base broth with coconut milk, fish sauce, pickled mustard greens, cilantro, green onions, and housemade chili oil. They also give you crispy egg noodles to put on top. I appreciated that they wrapped this separately in foil, so they didn't get soggy right away!
