In 2019 as I was approaching retirement I purchased another Gunnar to take advantage of hydraulic disc brakes in cycling. My Crosshairs became my travel bike. Recently after returning from an east coast trip a crack was found in my Crosshairs while in for a tuneup. I was broken hearted to think I might lose this great frame. After contacting the staff at Waterford/Gunnar I was told that my 12 year old frame would be repaired, under warranty. I was shocked, to say the least. While not a common frame the staff at Waterford/Gunnar produce excellent bikes and even better, stand behind them. You will never regret buying a Waterford/Gunnar bike. And yes, steel is real.

I had breakdowns on three different trips. Each time I took the bicycle in, the staff at Bicycle Doctors made a fix, but the issue recurred. During the repairs, Bicycle Doctors always provided a free loaner to me. They worked tirelessly with Gazelle and Shimano to fix the problem. Finally, after replacing almost everything possible on the rear wheel, the problem has been resolved...at no cost to me. As part of their customer satisfaction efforts, they also gave me free flat tire repairs for this year and free level one tune-ups for the 25/26 season for both bikes. Bicycle Doctors was diligent in working to fix my issues. They also interacted with me with great patience even when I was a bit testy! I actually came here this past weekend after searching for a local place that sold Aventon bikes. I…read morehad been researching the Aventon Level 3 online and was really hoping to be able to pick one up that weekend so I could use this summer, especially since gas prices have gone up and I can commute with it around Bayview to everywhere I need to go. When I walked in Jeremy greeted me and asked if I needed any assistance. I had already saw that they had the Aventon Sorella 3 and the Aventon Level 3 and 4 step-through bikes. So I asked him if the store had any Level 3 step overs and Jeremy said, "yes, we actually have one black one left, want me to bring it up?" I said sure--as that was the exact one and color I wanted. Jeremy brought up the bike and let me test ride it and let me just say that I knew after about 10 minutes that I was going to buy that bike. He let me know that the e-bike needed to get checked before I could pay for it and ride off into the sunset and luckily we had time to explore the store and I was able to take it home about 30 minutes later. Not only did he explain everything about the bike that I needed to know to safely operate it but he also answered all my questions about the tires and things that I never had to deal with on my triathlon bike. I have already ridden it about 15 miles and I cannot believe how much I would love an e-bike!
