I found out my phone was running low on memory and a security app was causing other apps to crash. I purchased a new Samsung with 128gb and they told me to come back in an hour because the transfer of my information from the cloud takes a while. I came back and my new phone had everything from my old phone I was so happy! They are one of the friendliest and best stores I've been to in a very long time!

Great service one day, awful the next…read more My new phone had arrived so I started the process of moving my eSIM from my old phone to my new phone. Verizon to Verizon, so there shouldn't have been any issues. Unfortunately, my old phone's SIM was deactivated before the new one was activated meaning I couldn't get the verification code to finish the transfer. I took it into this store after asking Verizon online help as they said it needed to be fixed in person. Got great service from the staff that day and they had my phone fixed and on my way within about 15 minutes. The next day, my partner got her new phone and it did the same thing. No big deal, we know Verizon can fix it for us in person. So we headed down to the same store but this time was greeted by a different person. Told him the issue we were facing and that I had been in the day before for the same problem and he instantly said it was a $40 charge. I tried explaining I had just had the same thing fixed only the day before for no charge and he treated me like I was lying. Then threatened to write up the employee who did it if I gave him her name. He told us to go to the Verizon store closer to the lake if we wanted to pay less. Three days later I went to AT&T and moved all my lines over so I don't need to ever deal with Verizon again. AT&T not only set up all my new lines for free, they're charging me less monthly for more data and coverage even after my introductory period. Bye, bye, Verizon!

I am so sad she's gone. We went to purchase a new iphone for my son, and the rep made a huge mess of our account and our phones. He was not honest and did not disclose all the costs of the phone until we scrutinized the final accounting which was significantly different from what he sold us (so we didn't sign the documents). He kept trying to upsell us on more products that we didn't want (red flag), and he switched my husbands phone plan without authorization, turned his phone off for some reason, and said that the phone would go back on momentarily. After his phone was off for over an hour, my husband had to go to the Berkeley store to get them to fix it. (The Berkeley store rep said they tend to send the trainees to the piedmont store so that's why the service there is so bad) I then spent over two hours on the phone with Verizon to get the account straightened out after the mess they made of it in the Piedmont store. And I purchased the new phone via Verizon customer service since they were more forthcoming (although you still have to scrutinize absolutely every charge - Verizon is very shady about how they charge for things and the different quirks of their promos) Moral of the story is... you never know how competent the rep you are dealing with is. Triple check every single thing and make sure you fully understand every charge before you agree to anything. Verizon is very adept at "gotcha" accounting, so you have to really watch everything unless you want to be ripped off.

Josh, the assistant manager/salesperson who helped us, was so effective, patient, polite - I don't think I've ever received better in-store service from anywhere. I'm not writing this lightly - Josh helped us for hours, including, when I finished a meeting and came back to pick up my FREE IPad (because we got 3 phones), setting everything up for me beyond office hours. So my experience with this location started 2 years ago (as a headsup, I am now on year 3 of…read moreservice). 2 years ago when I first called, I was waiting in line to pick my kiddo up from school; I literally called only because I wanted information, I made sure to let the rep know (because I didn't want to waste their time, but wanted them to know I just wanted information and that there was a possibility that a sale would NOT come from this). They were super kind about it and we probably spent about 20 minutes going back and forth- me with all my questions, and Monica with all her answers (and patience). The call went so well that I decided I would come in and just see what Verizon could ACTUALLY be able to provide me (deals, plans, prices, devices, etc.) Monica was a stand-out employee. As we were sitting there figuring everything out, my kiddo and I were having our side-conversations about things, and that's when Monica realized and suggested we look into adding a connected tablet (not only would I be able to implement and integrate it's use into my business, but kiddo would be able to play Fortnite whenever and wherever we were (Fortnite was LIFE for him and his buddies at the time, so yeah, it only made sense to add such a powerful device at such little cost). Having been in sales before, being in business currently, I respected and appreciated the way Monica listened and suggested, never pressing or pushing- I never once felt like a dollar-sign/account. A simple 20 minute call turned to a full-blown new client. And now we skip to today, 2026. Last week I decided I needed to add some services, and was playing with the app. Since I accidentally left stuff in my cart, Verizon picked it up and had a service agent call and asked if I wanted help...I did, but I'd rather speak to someone I know wouldn't see me simply as an additional account- SO, I checked to see if Monica was still at the same location...SHE WAS! So of course, she took all my questions AGAIN. Answered every doubt I had, and again, I headed straight to the Verizon store. The staff here is very friendly; the gentleman at the front desk immediately jumped up to greet me, I let him know I was there to speak with Monica and he connected me with her. So now, here we are with additional services, and extremely happy to still be with Verizon. The service is great, whether we head down South, or up North, we always have service on our phones and tablet. Home internet speeds are always phenomenal (there was one time where we had issues at home, but I wasn't there. Grandparents called asking for help, and I was able to fix everything straight from my phone, I loved it!). But most importantly, I know that Monica and her team here the American Canyon branch has the best in mind for their customers. I will continue to stay with them, and will continue to give them my business.
