As of recent, I've been visiting this store numerous times. Mainly because of size issues and that's my fault and my fault only. The staff has been so patient and caring to get the job done. On top of that they have a wide spectrum of products in their selection and it's almost entertaining just to walk through each isle. Lastly, those who are familiar with boot pricing may come to find that there clearance items and limited promotions tend to offer some cost effective pricing. I'm wearing a pair of I believe Double H work boots that look fancy as fuck but have a composite toe. If you kick something, it will know it was kicked. My other pair of boots from Boot Barn are Durangos that are super comfortable with slip resistant soles that are very flexible. You can run in them even. I have, I lost a foot race to an NFL running back outside of Polekatz one early morning. I fully expected to lose, I'm not an idiot. But I had to know how fast an elite level athlete was firsthand. They're fast! But he was a baby when he was unable to pull the door girl that I had been flirting with. Drove off in a huff and waved off my challenge to a game of Tetris or Street Fighter 2. A bloo a bloo a bloo. Perhaps my favorite shirt is from Boot Barn. It's a red pearl snap that looks a little like an evil snake skin. The snaps are diamond shaped and the quality is excellent. I wear Wranglers much of the time although my size is not always in stock. Curse this long torso and slightly disproportionately short legs. My bf and I literally walked in to re-shape a hat and the lady "reshaping " hats doesn't acknowledge us until like 3 minutes later of us standing in front of her, we ask her if we can re shape a hat and her answer is "I THINK WE ARE BUSY RIGHT" not to mention that the only reason she talked to us was because WE talked to her first... when the place wasn't even busy at all! We were in Texas for a baseball tournament and decided to do some shopping before we headed back to Cali and Top Golf was packed with a crazy long wait so we headed to our favorite... Boot Barn. This location is huge... SCORE! We loved it right when we walked in... so much Cody James merchandise! Jessy the sales team member came over right away to help us which was awesome because we knew we wanted Cody James jeans but we couldn't find the fit. She showed us to the straight fit. They had plenty of his size to choose from which is awesome because we sometimes have a hard time finding his size. It feels like everyone and their brother wears a 30/32. Jessy left us to shop but always came back to check on us. Which I love because I really hate when they follow you around like a car salesman. She was awesome! When we checked out she talked to us a little and made small talk about us being in Texas... she was all around professional and nice. It was nice to really experience good customer service. I was in need of some boots to replace an old pair. As I walked in the store I was kindly greeted by the persons at the counter registers. Seven steps in and I had many sales people constantly on my back about helping me find anything greeting me with their name. As soon as I got a shirt and pulled it off the rack to take a better look, a sales lady swarms in and asked if they could place it on the counter for me, (WTF!), I said no thank you I'm just looking and will need to try it out. They proceed to give me their name again and to call them for any help. I take a few steps to another rack and I'm bombarded by another one if they can take my selection to front counter. This started to aggravate me as they saw the young lady ask me once already. I get a Jean and the individuals are hovering over me and other customers. I decide to head on back to try boots and it's the same 4 people stalking me asking the same thing over and over. It's like WTF! Soon I talked to an elder gentlemen there at the boot section and asked what I was looking for he showed me the section and options for what I was looking he got out of my hair. Then the 4 individuals swarm in and ask if they can take my boots up to the counter when I'm still trying them out. I finally had to kindly tell them that I was already being helped and if I needed anything I'd let the person know. They kept coming every three minutes. It was too much for me. I walked out and went back the next day and as soon as I walked in I asked for the older gentleman and they called him up and I went back there and made my final decision on a pair and as he walked to the back I got asked by sales people again if they can take them up to the front. I get it they must work on a commission basis and I'd gladly do my part to help them make a sale, but damn, do they have to ask over and over and as soon as you get something off the rack they swarm in and the question is "can I place that in the counter for you?" This style of operations just makes it uncomfortable to make selections and shop in peace. I noticed that the elder people were more accommodating to shoppers. There needs to be some sort of training to keep this stuff at bay. Other than that they have a great selection of western wear and I highly recommend the store. read more

I came here to find some actual real Texas-style "show" boots before rodeo season kicked off. Nanette did a great job getting me fitted into boots which were comfortable, and gave me tips on how to care for the boots I selected. Her quick and attentive service meant that I had my boots of choice selected within minutes of setting foot in the store. The selection here was pretty good, my only gripe is that in my very popular size (women's 8-8.5) they seemed to be very much sold out of some of the cool styles I saw in other sizes. This is kinda expected with rodeo so close though! Nanette did offer to call around to other stores so that's an option. Two things ruined my trip, one of which isn't Boot Barn's fault necessarily but y'all need to know: - My car got broken into during the ~20 minutes I was in the store. They just took my gym bag with my stinky ol' gym shoes, so enjoy that ya @&!#ers, but despite being a well-lit lot with cameras recording everything, no one noticed til it was over with and the video wasn't high enough quality to tell anyway. - I was getting ready to check out when I found out my car was broken into, so I was obviously a bit flustered - I had bought boot conditioner and didn't notice until days later that the cashier failed to put it in my bag! So I wasted that money for nothing, and realized it so late they didn't do anything about it. Next time I'll check my bag...or I just won't go back. read more

If you ever come to boot barn near memorial city you should definitely come by to see Clyde. He was very helpful, and attentive the two times I came there for my husband's boot stretch. What's great is that you don't have to purchase from there and they do it for free! I purchased my hat and couple of items and very pleased with their selection. Do not shop at Boot Barn I went back to store today at lunch to return Boots but before I went back I called and spoke with the Asst Mgr. Casey and over the phone it sounding encouraging when I explained the situation to him. I went back to store he took the boots and basically stated he could not do anything for me and totally wasted my time. I will never buy another pair of Ariat boots again and I will never shop at Boot Barn "EVER" again, these people make you think your taking money out of there pocket if you bring something back and will not work with you. It is a shame that you pay $179.99 for a pair of boots and they are simply crap made in another country of cheap leather that stinks and they won't back it up.
