I went in at 4:00 on a Thursday afternoon. Tammy helped me with some questions I had about jewelry and I wanted to shop for some boots. I was really impressed with the selection they had versus some other stores I had looked at in colors and designs. I found a pair I like and was very happy. I needed a pair of jeans and ended up finding three pairs. Maggie also helped me while I was there and did a great job in finding different sizes and lengths for me on the jeans. Have been shopping at Boot Barn for years; tried Cavenders for once and not the same selection. Took my boy in for some jeans etc and staff was very pleasant and helpful from the second we arrived. Kendall helped us out with the kids selection and then had to even get me a new pair of El Dorado crocs LOL. DO NOT GO HERE. Nahely and Scott are the worst associates. Not only negligence, but they completely messed up my transaction. I spent 3 hours inside, only for them to mess up. They never were sorry or tried to make the matter better. I will be contacting higher ups. read more

If I could give a lower rating I would. They don't even repair boots and the staff are completely inappropriate with customers. They say one thing to get you to buy for their sales numbers and then don't do they're best to make it a good experience for you if you ever try to return. Boot Barn is trash! The staff here are complete jerks! They signed me up for the reward program never to tell me the expiration. I came in today to find out that my $35 had expired on Thursday and they would not just override it in the system. My fiancé and I have been here twice! Both times the sales lady were EXTREMELY rude! We walked in planing to buy complete wardrobe for our wedding day!! We explained this to her and she didn't seem to care at all!! So we took our business to Cavenders and they were more then happy to help us spend about $3,000.00. Second time we went for more jeans for my fiancé and he asked for a certain size and her reply was "What we have is out! You will just have to look!" Nope we will not be back at all!! read more

This will be the last time my family and I will ever go to a Boot Barn. One member of my group was looking for jeans. No one offered to help her. She had to ask for help several times. Another thing that was really inappropriate was when my wife was purchasing a pair of socks. I asked if they had military discount. The cashier didn't know, so she asked another associate who i presume to have been the manager. His reply was, "ONLY ACTIVE DUTY". The way he said it made me feel as if I was asking for a hand out. That only active duty military deserve a discount and not a veteran who has served in Iraq and Afghanistan. I will drive a little bit further to go to Cavanders. I am a long time customer and buy boots for my grandkids from there often. This day I walk in and the entire staff were either on the phone or being rude. I had a hard time with the store manager as she talked to me as if I were dumb or illiterate. She seemed to be focused on everyone else except me so I just took my 2,000 and left to Cavendars boots. Being rude and not caring especially for a "store manager" is a great way to keep loyal customers. read more

This was our first time to shop at Boot Barn and will sadly be the last. We were shopping for a pair of Lucchese boots for my son's birthday. After asking an employee if they sold that brand, we were randomly pointed in the direction of the boots section , only to find that they only had 2 pairs in stock. As we were leaving, we passed the Wrangler jeans and noticed that they had a sale sign posted for that stated "Buy 2, Get 1 Free". The sign was on the shelves, directly under stacks of jeans. We selected 3 pairs, being careful to only choose from the jeans that were adjacent to the sale sign. But, of course, it appears that it was a scam because only a few pair of the jeans in those stacks actually qualified for the sale price. The Old Bait and Switch routine strikes again. Perhaps, if a salesperson had actually offered us even a little help, this entire situation could have been avoided. If the manager had even been remotely polite when we ask about the fine print, I would not be complaining. However, he was a total jerk and acted as if we had done something wrong by even asking such a question. Now, I know why the place was completely empty in the height of Rodeo season. BEWARE!
