I just don't think it's that good, any of it really... I don't even go inside any more when we stop. There is nothing that I want enough to burn the calories on. My wife won't ever admit it, but we throw away most of what we buy every single time. No one eats it. It just sits there and molds. I take that back, the rolls (maybe butter horns, am I making that up?) are pretty good. I'll tear them suckers up right out of the toaster oven. The cinnamon rolls, baked goods, and loaf breads are all dry and taste to be made with dirt cheap ingredients to me. Chex mix stuff is even bland. How is that!?!?!? I've never had a sandwich so maybe I am missing out. I'm not a big sandwich guy though. It's just not my thing. Last time we came through, she got Lasagna and some Ham and Potato Casserole. After taking a bite of the lasagna, I checked the ingredients and number two on the list is Cottage Cheese! What in the actual...?? Who does that? Not a sign of any garlic at all. Look at my pics for the ingredients yourself. Ham and Potato thing was terrible. Just awful. She didn't even eat that. I'm not even sure who would like that. Additionally, the directions are crap in the casseroles. Double them all as far as time is concerned. I'm not sure if it's my tastebuds that are shit now from all of the spicy food I am used to, or if this stuff is really not as good as the mystique and nostalgia that country folks like to say it has. This place has been a staple for me when I wanted something sweet for the past two years. The employee ended up making a chocolate, coffee, and I think walnut covered chocolate milkshake. It was extremely good. I am usually one who stays away from from coffee because it is usually overpowering, but the two chocolate flavors combined made sure that it was not. I highly recommend going to this place and asking them to experiment because you may be thoroughly surprised. I know many of the students have tried this place, but if you are visiting or brand new to this school and want something sweet, this is the place.

Our dishes were are very flavorful and I could have easily overstuffed myself. The location is the main drawback. It's nicely done but too small with only a few tables and like 6 parking spots that are shared among several busy businesses including other popular restaurants. Our server was a little slow and didn't bring out the appetizer until the food was already there too. Luckily it worked out because the sampler was so hot it needed a few minutes to cool down before we could touch it anyways. If you can get a spot it's definitely worth a try.
