My nephew and I visited a couple of weeks ago. I got the Bulldog Burger and onion rings. The burger was very good. If I had to make a change, I would use large buns and make the patties bigger and/ or give a bigger portion of onion rings. The service was also good. She kept our glasses full. When we left, we got an unexpected bonus,not far from the restaurant, there was a small herd of dumbasses protesting Trump. So, as expected, I made sure to heckle them while at the light. Now that's a tasty burger! I have been to the BB in Tupelo a handful of times. My job had me in Starkville for a day and I was on time to have lunch before my meeting. This spot did not fail me. I slid right in and sat at the bar solo. I truly enjoyed my visit. My only gripe was that it was very cold inside. It was uncomfortable and I am hot natured. I had a very nice bartender. She was great. Took care of my needs, made suggestions, confirmed and complimented my choice, and got my food out fast. Can't remember her dang name. Renee maybe?? Huge asset to this company. Bulldog Burger is a great option if you are in the Starkville, Mississippi area and craving a great burger. Walking in, there is not too much in terms of ambiance, but let's be honest, there is nothing about a burger that saus it needs to be eaten in some posh surroundings. In fact, I would hazard the opinion that a burger is best enjoyed in a more humble environment. I must commend our server, Allissa. She was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive and professional and definitely added to an already wonderful dining experience. I went with Pimentology Burger with truffle tots. It proved to be an amazing choice and they cooked it to a perfect medium. The tater tots were also amazing. All in all, I would definitely recommend a visit to Bulldog Burger. I was going to rate it a 2, but the milkshake really pulled the rating up; it was SO good. I went with my mom and I got the wings and she got the burger, which we split. The food was okay, kind of mediocre and nothing really all that special. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't anything I'll likely remember and didn't make me want to go back, aside from the shakes of course. I got a cookies and cream milk shake with chocolate sauce and it was DELICIOUS. My mom got one after tasting mine and loved it. Possibly one of the best shakes I've had, ever and definitely one of the best from a resturant. The service wasn't great though, our waiter was super inattentive and didn't really ask us how anything was or check back to see if we needed anything. It was a very cute place, the lighting was great and the staff were very friendly! A nice place to go if you want a chill and relatively mellow resturant that has mediocre food. Had a great meal at Bulldog Burger this weekend. I had the Bryant hamburger. It includes fried onion straws, bacon and cheddar with Jack Daniel's sauce. It was good. stopped in for lunch with our pup today and chose bulldog burger because the patio is dog friendly. we were seated immediately and were greeted by our server after a small wait. the server was very friendly. we placed our order and the philly steak egg rolls came out hot and fresh. unfortunately we had no silverware, napkins or small plates. the food runner returned with the necessary items upon request. although i did not personally care for the egg rolls the other two members of my party said that they were great! in addition to the egg rolls two of us split the sloppy joes, sweet potato fries and mac and cheese. once again i didn't care for the sloppy jo but the fries were good. my daughter had the BLT chicken salad which looked good and she confirmed that it was. remember, we chose this spot based on dog friendliness and jojo was not disappointed. she enjoyed a refreshing bowl of water and a complimentary pup cup! read more

I've been here a couple of times now and it doesn't disappoint. It's owned by the same folks as Harvey's, Sweet Peppers, The Grill and Umi. I'm somewhat of a Harvey's homer, so don't @ me. Their menu is diverse and by now, we've tried a few things. This last time, we shared a patty melt. Holy cow! How tasty and quite the bargain. What makes this place better than the rest? Solid tap selection, insanely impressive bar (seriously! They have allocated and SBS bourbons galore!) and top notch service. I feel the same about Harvey's.
