Excellent high quality kosher steakhouse in Brooklyn/Midwood. Recommend loading up on appetizers and splitting the tomahawk 28 oz ribeye. The chicken appetizer was great, and so was the tartare. Salads are excellent as well. Cost was $150/head.

This steakhouse is one of the best i've been to. Our waiter, Adonis, was attentive and accommodating. The service is prompt and the food was delicious. The prices are on the more pricier side but it's worth the splurge on a special occasion. I had the prime fillet, when i first cut into it i felt it was too dry for a fillet cut but as i got closer to the center the meat was much more tender and juicer. My parents also had the Aged Rib Eye for 2 and loved it as well. Watermelon martini is one of the best cocktails on the menu and finishing off the meal with sorbet is a must! Great experience, would love to go again.

I'm going to go with 3 stars for 2 very important reasons that make a huge difference to me and people like me who enjoy fine dining. I dined at Bordeaux last night for my birthday. Firstly, upon entering we were greeted by a Maitre D and seated right away. The decor is really beautiful and old school. They kept the design from the previous restaurant and it truly does it justice. Our waiter introduced himself, he was really nice young man who knew the menu RE what would be a good dish and was quite attentive. As a side note, while dining it was difficult to track him down. We had to keep asking other waitstaff to call him. We ordered a bunch of apps; Aged Beef Carpaccio, Porcini Dusted Tuna, Pulled Beef Ravioli, Bordeaux Taco, Beef Burger Sliders and a Market Salad. Entrees we ordered the short ribs and the special which was a sous vide medium rare steak with mashed potatoes and courgettes. Every single dish was quite mediocre and really I can't point to a single dish and say damn that blew me away. If you are charging these prices per dish, you better be selling yourself properly. Of everything we tried my favourite, literally the one thing I can point to and say that was good, was the side dish courgettes. You're doing something very wrong if that's my take. Especially coming from someone who has tried the other local kosher fine dining establishments. Now, something else really ticked me off that I was appalled at. So you consider yourself fine dining and pricing above Brooklyn mediums yet between appetizers and entrees I wanted to give my waiter the dirty fork I used for my apps. His response was, keep it. You'll need it for the next course. That is unreasonable and very off putting. A fine dining establishment changes cutlery between courses. On to desserts. We ordered the Deconstructed Smores, Chocolate Peanut Butter Explosion, Mango Shortcake, & another that I can't recall the name. I have always heard raving reports about the desserts here, but again, a real let down. Very underwhelming and tasteless. I was really expecting a WOW! at least one WOW! Oh well, I'm honestly giving 3 because our waiter was quite nice and I had great company while dining.

Needed a meaty pick me up before tackling chef Janie's new fall dessert menu! I'm a big fan of this place and so was sadly disappointed when my order of corn beef empinadas, Dino sized bbq short rib and sautéed mushrooms on the side all came out either cold, burnt or lacking in filling. Called our waiter over and explained the unhappiness and immediately he and the manager apologized profusely and instead of deducting a percentage off our bill told us "let start over on your order" So menus were brought and the bad disappointing feelings quickly dissipated and we decided on the 21 day aged rib eye steak, Mashed potatoes instead of the fries and sautéed spinach. The 26 oz was perfect to share and share we did. This steak was utterly melt in your mouth glorious. Cooked to perfection and brought out in all its sizzling glory. The mashed potatoes were addictive and the sautéed spinach were quite good as well. We moved onto dessert and of course couldn't resist and ordered the 4 new items for the season. The begneits were light and fluffy, the monkey bread had the right amount of cinnamon sugar sweetness with the perfect dense chewy bite to the dough, the coconut pana cotta was my least favorite, idk the coconut flavor was a bit much here sadly and the texture wasn't as soft as I was expecting it to be, the peanut butter one was absolutely fantastic but wished the peanut butter "mousse" on top was chilled a bit instead of room temp...regardless, our second chance ordering this night was a hit and I look forward to returning!

Please note they decide on their own when to close shop unless it's 50 degrees and above they might be closed.

We had a celebratory dinner at The Loft Steakhouse recently, and we loved it! The restaurant is…read moreactually much bigger than I expected. We were seated in The Library, the room at the back characterized by hundreds of wine bottles filling all walls. While all steakhouses give out "old men" vibes to me, The Loft had a pretty divers clientele that evening: young couples, old couples, couples on a date, families. For our dinner we started with the beef carpaccio, which is served with baby arugula, pickled beech mushroom, truffle vinaigrette, horseradish aioli. Tor our main course we shared the black angus rib eye (which was served sliced as per our request) with a side of spinach. The rib eye was perfectly cooked medium-rare, juicy, melt-in-your-mouth soft. We loved it, and at 26 oz it was certainly enough for 2. Wines by the glass are surprisingly affordable considering the overall high-end dining experience. The dessert menu is quite extensive, and there were several desserts we wanted to try. in the end, we got the peanut caramel brownie special with salted caramel, chocolate ganache, crunchy coating, and the cheesecake with cream topping and blueberry gel. They were both delicious and rich, and honestly one dessert would have been enough for the 2 of us. Furthermore, we were treated to a Le Donut complimentary dessert: Cinnamon sugar donuts, with cappuccino cream and vanilla spuma, this dessert is fantastic when eaten hot. Service was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, the owner actually came to our table to greet us, and at the end of the dinner he brought over the complimentary Le Donut dessert. The food was delicious, we felt very welcomed and the staff treated us like family. What's there not to love?

The wings were heavily sauced, making it somewhat of a mess to eat. However, it was deliciously sweet and had a good extra kick of spice. The classic burger was robustly sized but the patty was on the drier end and well-done. Luckily, the accompanying lettuce, onions, and mayonnaise elevated it with enough moisture. As I ordered between 12-5 pm, a side of fries and soda were complimentary. Food was on the pricier end as it was $23.90. Staff was friendly and happily provided additional sauces without fuss. Place was quite neat and attractive inside, with several tables for dining.

I've ordered from this restaurant twice, and it has failed to impress me both times. The food was…read morealright, but I don't believe it's worth the price, with how expensive it is, so I doubt I'll be trying the restaurant a third time. Here's a breakdown of everything I've ordered from here, some items are no longer available on their menu, which seems to change around a lot. Most recent order: Ice Cold House Tea (Passion Fruit): 3.5/5, it was not cold when it arrived at my house, more like room temperature. It's served in a plastic bottle, to my surprise, and it was fine, although I didn't taste much of the fruit flavor. The notes were very subtle, and it was similar to a slightly fruity tea. It wasn't too sweet, which I liked. Glazed Nuggets (Fire Popper Sauce): 3.5/5, not spicy at all. Very average in terms of flavor and texture. I prefer Korean Fried Chicken over this, for sure. Signature Chicken Sandwich (Super Spicy): 1/5, one of the weirdest sandwiches I've ever tasted in my life. It was both sickeningly sweet, akin to cereal cornflakes, and bitterly spicy-ish, at the same time. My tongue was very confused. Mind you, it only tasted sweet on some parts of the sandwich, and spicy on the other parts, like a dotted chocolate chip cookie, or a field of landmines. You never know what the next bite will taste like until you start chewing it. I'm a big fan of spicy food, so their Super Spicy wasn't spicy to me in the sense I was dying from the heat, but it was enough of a small tingle on my taste buds to let me know that it was indeed having an effect, and fulfilling its promise that it would be spicy. I've had too many disappointing experiences where food claimed to be spicy, and then felt absolutely nothing while eating it. Crispy Nuggets: 2/5, it was very hard and the chicken didn't seem like good quality chicken. The experience was like gnawing through hard bits of leather. Dry and flavorless. Beef Empanadas: 3.5/5, juicy and moist, but lacking in depth of flavor. Very few empanadas for the amount of money paid. They're also rather small, with not much filling inside. Homemade Pastrami Sandwich: 2.5/5, the pastrami was bland and flavorless. The coleslaw was similarly bland. Just a bland sandwich overall. Previously ordered: Savory Fries Platter: 4.5/5, my favorite item from them, it's not on the menu anymore. Lots of meat, guacamole, sauce, and fries. It's a full meal in itself. Famous Corn Soup: 3/5, very sweet, which I never experienced in a corn soup before. Is corn soup supposed to be so sweet? It had some bacon and guacamole to offset it, but not enough. Very weird combination of flavors. Facon Burger: 2.5/5, very disappointed in this burger. For a restaurant to be a burger specialty joint, I expected to have my socks knocked off by this. Just like its name, the burger is upside down, with the toppings on the bottom of the meat patty, instead of above it, like you'd normally expect burgers to be constructed. It was very odd, since the toppings were drowned out by the mediocre meat squashing it down. Perhaps I was supposed to turn the burger to eat it? The toppings also fell out everywhere while I was eating, so that didn't help my enjoyment of it. The meat was not juicy enough, bland, and very thick. I didn't enjoy it. It was a substandard burger. The only good part was the facon jam, and there was not much of it. Fire Poppers: 3.5/5, I believe this is the same menu item as the Glazed Chicken Nuggets, but with smaller pieces of chicken. Taste is the same, since the same sauce was used. Many of the items are unflavorful and disappointing. Every item costs over $15 or so, with some entrees costing over $20. It's just very expensive for the quality of the food, which isn't up to par. If it actually tasted good, I might be willing to pay what they're asking, but from my experience, I would say that's a no.

The pita is extremely fresh. I woud recommend you order their fresh hummus. Its a perfect marriage of both. For lunch, we ordered the skewered beef, which is the softest, most flavorful morsels you can imagine. Apparently there is a special supplier of this extremely tender beef. Its amazing. If you are into beef, get the baby chicken on the skewer. Again, it is very tender and nicey seasoned bursting with flavor. To accompany these meats, you have an assortment of additions. This time, we got the french fries, very freah, and rhe mijadra. Its rice with lentils with carmelized onions. The onions give a burst of flavor to this dish. It is not inexpensive, however you will jot be disappointed and you will enjoy the food here!
