Manager is so astonishingly RUDE to customers over their mask policy. It's sad to see all hospitality thrown out the door over not wearing a mask for 2 seconds after walking in. The food hear is outstanding. Honestly my vote for best pizza in Columbus. The wings are great. The stuffed peppers... *muah, chefs kiss* But the service or customer service has much to be desired. Out of my 10+ orders from here, 1 has been 100% correct. All the rest have been messed up in some way or another. And never once was any sort of compensation offered. Amazingly, the quality of the food outweighs a sub 10% order accuracy. If you want the best pizza in Columbus, this is it. If you want great wings, also here. All of their food is next level. We are extremely loyal to borgatas, and I am giving understanding of the wrinkles and kinks that need to be worked out when opening a new location, which is why I upped it from 2 stars to 3, but come on... $30.00 for a pizza that was Hawaiian plus feta on half and as you can see the toppings and cheese are lacking. I hope that the second location doesn't lower the quality of both places in the future. May be best to give them a chance to work out the growing pains prior to spending $30 on a pizza. Top 5 pizza in Cbus, which saying a lot since there are 199 different pizza places, but as far as New York style goes (which is not my favorite style but still good) this is tops in the city. We first started going to their original location and were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed it! So when this location opened were we're so stoked because it is closer to us. Amazing bread and dip. The dip has a nice balsamic taste and is delicious! New York style 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepperoni pie well done is our go to! We both loved the outdoor seating area but unfortunately that is where our love for this location ended. We were greeted by the waitress quickly after sitting down and asked her for drink specials. She stated she wasn't sure and had to check. She came back to us and explained we had time to order still during happy hour. I ordered a vodka and Sprite and my husband ordered a craft 20 ounce. Throughout dinner we ordered two more beers and one more drink. We were charged the full price for all of the drinks. Which I only found out after paying the bill and asking for a receipt. We sat for a very long time after ordering our 20" New York style pizza with pepperoni and mushroom. What I need to stress is we watched not 1, not 2 but 3 tables not only get seated but order and receive their pizza before we got ours. It is our opinion that based of the temperature of the pizza, we only got it after we asked the waitress about it and she probably forgot but blamed the kitchen for being backed up. We also ordered a side of anchovies. They had to be the most disgusting clump of mush we had ever seen. If you don't have quality food then I would have preferred you had said we are out or we no longer serve them. Our last thoughts were maybe consider the food size when you have dishes come out or were we given bread plates my mistake? Our barely cut pizza didn't fit on the plate . I went to Borgata on the recommendation of a friend, and I am so happy I did! The entire staff was amazing - they made us feel welcomed, and were so friendly. We had the Mediterranean veggie pizza and it was delicious. I was skeptical of zucchini on a pizza, but it was SO GOOD with all of the other toppings - and cooked to perfection! I haven't had pizza like this since the last time I was in NYC. I will definitely return, and despite it being a bit of a drive from my house, Borgata may become our go-to for carry out. Took out a supreme pizza from the W Dublin Granville location of Borgata's. One of the worst pizzas I've had in my life. A whole glob of soggy green pepper and onion and very little pepperoni and sausage. You would have needed to be an archeologist to have found the few tiny morsels of sausage. Sadly, BPC's (typically amazing) food and service at the Linworth location pales in comparison to the consistent quality that you'll usually enjoy at their Park Street parlor. 3 or 4, maybe more, times ordering at the west location since it opened, I think we'll give up now. I don't understand what the hype about this place is. The pizza was fair, but nothing amazing, especially given the price. Ordered the supreme pizza and a caprese salad. There weren't many patrons in the restaurant during lunch, but service was slow and they got my pizza order wrong. The caprese salad didn't have fresh basil, just dry. I was disappointed. Hard to judge the pizza. Cook wasn't wearing a mask for about 30 min. Especially after the governor's recent address about covid cases and concerns of restaurant spread. He later put one on which I assume meansthe lack of mask wasn't related to trauma or health concerns from a mask. read more

Yummmmm. I'm not sold on the "Columbus style" pizza- crispy crust, cut into squares and so I did a little research to try and find something that was different. Borgata is NY style- thin crust, large, generous pieces (that you can fold or not). I ordered a pepperoni pizza and picked up for carry-out. The place was super quiet, but it was a weeknight. The cheese, sauce, and pepperoni were perfect. If you haven't tried NY style pizza- try it here, I think you'll like it. :) The only negative is I wish it was a little less expensive! read more

Hidden in a strip mall in Linworth is a great NY style pizza and Italian restaurant. Tried the bread appetizer with the balsamic dip. Excellent! House salad with their homemade Italian dressing was a good size as a starter. The pizza was very good with just the right amount of toppings. Best pizza in columbus!! We ordered a pizza with mushrooms on it which is our favorite topping to get! It was so good! My husband grew up going to New York visiting family so always loves New York style pizza and this is the closest thing to it in columbus! We got the pesto bread as we couldn't resist getting it and it was the best I've ever tasted! For desserts got one of their pb cannolis and it well worth the hype! First time trying Borgata after doing a search for "best pizza in Columbus". And, I mean I really am searching for the BEST pizza since I used to live for 12 years in New York City (Ray's Pizza?!). Well, I'm less than enthusiastic about this place. I ordered a 12" Margherita. Mozzarella was barely melted, tomatoes were basically raw, hardly any basil, and the crust was so thin I couldn't fold the slice in half to pick it up and eat it. Ordered a NY style pizza and it was my first time eating here. The pizza was good except for the burnt flavor from the burnt bottom! This place seems like it is possibly a good spot for NY style since there are no other options around. Except I would flip up the pizza to look at the bottom before leaving with it. My wife wouldn't eat it so I just ate around the pieces and ate the cheese which was good. A few years ago maybe I wouldn't have minded the burnt bottom but from what I've read about burnt food being a carcinogen from the acrylamide that's formed I try to avoid it. read more

I got the Mediterranean pizza with a chocolate chip cannoli. The service is great here, and they take a lot of coronavirus precautions as well which I appreciated. However I was pretty disappointed in the pizza. It was SO. SOGGY. I couldn't pick up a piece without half the pizza's toppings falling off. Even folding it to try to keep the toppings in as I picked it up, the whole center was so soggy it all fell out anyways so I had to drag it on a plate. The flavors were fantastic but the pizza felt a underdone and it was so difficult to eat because of how soggy the middle was. I really wanted to love it here because I've heard amazing things. However I want to be able to pick up my pizza slice to eat it which I couldn't do. I know NY style always has a little flop but this just felt underdone. The crust underneath was all soggy, no texture under the toppings. Like I said, the service was amazing, the cannoli was also phenomenal. We love Borgata and especially Vince behind the bar! We always sit at the bar (once or twice a week) and have pizza, sandwiches and wings. The food is excellent, atmosphere is very relaxed and everyone who works there is great. But we go to Borgata's for the pizza and Vince. We have been telling everyone to friends, acquaintances, Uber drivers about Borgata. Make sure you say hi to Vince as we always notice he greets all the guests and is very upbeat and cool! read more

Birthday celebration for my 11 YO daughter & 7 YO niece. A pizza party on the patio w/family on a nice summer day turned into such a dramatic evening thanks to "General Manager" Josh. My fam ordered a pizza & a child sized spaghetti. The b-day girls sat together (so my daughter was across and diagonal to me). We had a total of 11 people. Lots of talking and laughing going on. I happened to notice my daughter's spaghetti & thought wow that's a rather large portion for a child's size. The bowls are the same size so no one really noticed when the girls got them. We asked the waitress if it was indeed the child's size. Nope it's the full version. We stated that we ordered the child's. "Oh" was the response and there was no instructions as to whether she was supposed to wait for a different bowl or what? So she ate it. End of meal the waitress is compiling bills. I said us 3 & her. She reads large pepperoni pizza, lemonade & coke. Pause....so I say and her, we ordered a child's spaghetti (I should have just left it at that) BUT you guys brought out a regular. She says "I'll be right back". Josh appears out of nowhere "I understand that you're having an "issue" with your bill". We're all dumbfounded. Uh..no. Then introduces himself as Josh, General Manager. You ordered a child's portion of spaghetti, received an adult portion and ate all of it so you have to pay for it (with a condescending attitude which is where it all started to go down hill). Whatever the mix up, I have a bill for an adult size so that's what needs paid. My SIL says "you're missing the point". We didn't even realize that she received a regular size. They served it, she started eating it, the bowl is the same size, we finally noticed the portion seemed bigger compared to her cousin. We asked the server and she confirmed that it was adult, we told her it was supposed to be a child. Nothing was said NOR done to correct it. Should we have stopped her and spoon a portion out of it? I don't like that this guy just implied that we're trying to get something for nothing. Mind you we're talking $6 diff. We ordered a child size specifically b/c she is a child and SHOULD only eat that size. Knowing we had b-day cupcakes to eat too. We addressed it and nothing was done to change the situation..we basically moved on. Were we supposed to dump a portion of it on the ground or what? Certainly it would be thrown out ($6 loss still), was Josh going to eat it or what???We paid it all w/20% tip which BETTER go to Natalie!!!!! Who by the way when we told her that this wasn't on her started crying & walked away. Certainly Josh gave her attitude too. If he treated us like that. I fear how he treats his employees. Server blamed herself. My daughter said it was her fault because she ate it. All over $6.00. We won't be back nor will the 3 other couples. There are probably 100 pizza restaurants in central Ohio. We gathered from 4 cities outside of Columbus. Definitely not worth the drive. Food was okay BUT pricey (especially the spaghetti...yes, I'm redundant!). 20" pep pizza $25, drinks $2.50 (typical central OH price), spaghetti $14.50 (adult size!!!). Pizza is NY style. Thin & floppy so you have to fold it to eat it and it's greasy!!! My daughter said the spaghetti was good, but not as good as Massey's (which isn't as good as Buca di Beppo.)
