SOOOO Disappointed. Moved here 5 years ago, right down the street, prices were great, food was fabulous. Pizza WAS unique with a nice crispy thin crust and not too much heavy sauce. Great atmosphere. ALL GONE! New owners, new hours, new employees, new pizza!!! Be warned! They need to change the NAME because it's NOTHING like Fracasso's . This was our go to pizza / subs place! At least once a week. Twice now, only had 2 ppl working, told me 15 mins, was at least 30. No one in there on a Thursday pm which used to be rare. I am pretty sure the locals have all told each other it SUCKS now. :( Ordered a couple of Subs last week. Hardly any meat and generally just NOT good. NOT a Fracasso's sub. Change the name. I ordered 3 pizzas. One of the pizzas was completely incorrect. And I had already arrived at home. I called them back to let them know this. And here is where the incompetence came to light. They couldn't figure out how to make it right. They asked me twice if I wanted them to remake it. I told them that is why I ordered pizza in the first place! They then got rude when I asked to speak to a manager. The manager was too busy. Then they told me 15 minutes to remake one and I showed up and they hadn't even started it. Terrible service. First time visitor here. Built our own pizza. The place was not crowded at all but it was a Buckeye football day. The pizza was good. It did not rank in my top pizzas I have ever eaten but cannot say it was bad at all. The lack of fountain drinks is an issue for us as we like to eat in and enjoy drinks with our pizza. The place was clean and observed tables getting cleaned and stocked for the dinner rush. Don't always see that these days. Would eat here again, certainly worth trying if you have not been. read more

This place pops out of nowhere but seems to be a favorite spot of the locals as we were lucky enough to get one of the last tables on a Friday night. Decided to take a little drive today and check out Fracasso's Village Pizza in Galena. This is your typical out in the country pizza place. They have a huge selection of beers and sodas, bottles and cans. Plenty of seating (dozen tables). I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and garlic cheese bread. The pizza was a nice perfectly crisp pizza with a nice smooth sauce, a ton of cheese and nice spicy pepperoni. Definitely was surprised on how good it was. Then there was the Garlic Cheese Bread. OMG!!! You know a lot of places the garlic is way over loaded, this was the perfect amount and again a bunch of cheese that was perfectly cooked. I made the mistake of not taking the dipping sauce. But the bread stood on its own. For sure I will have to return. read more

Such a great little find! I had no idea it's 5 mins from us in New Albany, but I'd drive further to get here for sure. The pizza was seriously so good- we ate it there to have the full experience. Great informal place for pizza and beer. The dinning area is not much to get excited about other than lots of TVs to keep up with sports. Beers are cold, pizza is hot - so a good start! I had a pepperoni pizza. I liked the sauce and the crispy curled pepperoni covering the top. Generous with the topping. Also tried the meatballs. These were very good and smothered in sauce and cheese. Side salad was iceberg lettuce, pizza cheese and a few pepperoni. Pretty basic, but was a good serving and met what I was looking for. I would go back - good food, very nice staff, in a casual setting. Prices were ok, looks like Wednesday night is happy hour night if you want a bargain. read more

Full disclosure: I don't like the Columbus pizza thin crust. I know that's sacrilege in this town, but there it is. That being said, I don't care what kind of crust this pizza is on - it's damn good. I assumed this place had a high rating because it was small town local and I was wrong. The prices were what you'd expect, so nothing interesting there. Place was clean and service was good. The pizza was great. The part Columbus has right on pizza is the charred meat toppings and this place does it. The sauce had great flavor and brought it all together. read more

NO QUESTION this gets 5 stars! We ordered a "thick and chewy" All Meat pizza and it was absolutely loaded with toppings. The thick crust was even a bit crispy which is very unique for being thick. We also ordered a thin crust pizza and I actually preferred it over the thick one. The crust was so crisp and the pepperonis curled up to perfection. They appear to make their own sauce because I saw a big spinning contraption behind the counter that they use. Their sauce is a little sweet which I absolutely loved. Second visit to Fracassos and we were not disappointed. We found a nice bottle of Malbec wine very reasonable. Ordered spaghetti and a ranch chicken pizza. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The spaghetti included a salad which was fresh crisp and chilled..it was large enough to share. The spaghetti included a meatball that was excellent. Garlic bread was also yummy. The ranch chicken bacon pizza was delicious. Lots of toppings end to end..crust was thin and crispy!! We will be back! read more

Stopped for a quick lunch. We ended up ordering a pizza and breadsticks. The sticks were a generic stick. But the spaghetti sauce they were served with was excellent! It was obviously made with chicken stock which is a win in my book. The pizza crust was light and crunchy! The sauce was okay, but the pie was topped with a nice quality cheese and tons of fresh toppings! All and all, a good experience! read more

It's such a cute mom and pop shop that clearly caters and is well respected and cares about their community. Love the idea that you buy your drinks there like a beer drive through. They seem to hire a lot of local kids which is awesome but expect to adhere to some young learning curves for your experience. Pizza was okay... experience was awesome. they have $2 beer night!! And also sell draft pitchers certain nights for under $8. At that price how can you go wrong? Good place for a fantasy football draft. read more

A bit of a drive for us as it is in Galena. Perfect for a Saturday afternoon ride. The pizza is good with a nice crisp crust. Spaghetti, lasagna and ravioli are also on the menu. The Italian subs are large and tasty. They have several varieties of subs. Salads are large enough to share. The dining room is roomy with several TVs. There is patio seating. A large parking lot. I took my wife and two children here on Friday night. I had heard from some locals that this was the place to get pizza. I was not expecting what we experienced, but that isn't bad news. Fracasso's is located in Center Village, which is a village so small, they do not even have their own post office (hence the Galena postal address). The only businesses I saw on this corner were this one and another party store across the street. I knew going in that people get takeout from here like a usual pizza place, but I assumed since the place had seating that it was a sit down restaurant where we would be seated and served at our table. I was wrong, but it's okay, I just didn't know it (a "please order at the counter and seat yourselves" sign would've been helpful for us newbies). So we sat down and got ourselves organized at the table when we noticed a line forming at the counter. To their credit, it does say "please order here" above the counter. I missed that. Another unique part of this business is that it's also a beer and wine store. Therefore, the dining area includes wine racks (classy) so you can choose the wine you want, but also includes refrigerators with glass windows just like a gas station or 7-11, so you get to check out their pop and beer fridges while you're eating in the dining area (not-so-classy). Bottom line: Fracasso's reminded me of those liquor stores in southern Maryland that you could also sit down and drink your alcohol at. With that said, they had TVs, there were a lot of families, and the staff was very kind. After sitting down and having a dining experience I realize that it comes down to this: they are doing what they can with the space they have and essentially running two businesses out of the same building. After we figured out what we wanted (large cheese pizza, only $12.25!) and some garlic cheese bread ($4.50?), I ordered it at the counter. They also had four beers on draft including Amberbock and Yuengling, so not just your typical Bud and Coors and Miller. $1.85 a draft and $7.95 for a pitcher, so not bad prices. I could see why people who live nearby would spend evenings here with those prices. The woman at the counter took my order, and told me she would bring my beer out. She delivered shortly after as promised, and brought my wife some water as well. Our pizza didn't take too long to come out, considering how busy they were. There were easily 10-15 families there the entire time we were there. As I mentioned the staff was awesome. They helped make it feel like my hometown bar/pizza place where I was welcome to show up anytime. Lastly, the pizza was pretty good. Typically, I enjoy thick crust and this wasn't very thick, but it wasn't thin either. It was right in-between. The cheese was plentiful, but my wife was unhappy with the below average amount of sauce they put on. The garlic cheese bread tasted exactly like Pizza Burg's (locations in Centerburg and Johnstown) Our older daughter loved the pizza but she is not picky. My wife and I gave the pizza a 3.5/5, but the business gets a 4/5 overall due to the staff and atmosphere. read more

I had seen some great comments about Fracassos and decided to give it a shot one night and was pretty disappointed. Ordered the "home made" Wedding Soup ($2.95) and the flavor was okay but it tasted - and looked - way to similar to Progresso Soup's Wedding soup. The biggest issue I had was that the meatballs were all the exact same size and perfectly formed ... so they were either frozen, canned soup, or the chef is the most amazing cook to be toiling away in Center Village. For my meal, I did my usual when ordering at a new place that I'm curious about and put myself in the hand's of the "order taker" (you order at a bar so not really a waitress). Hearing lots about the red sauce they use for pizza and spaghetti so I was leaning that direction, but she suggested the Philly Chopped Steak Sub ($6.95) so I took a shot. Boy did I make a mistake the "chopped steak" tasted more like "burned steak" and was so dry that it was on the verge of being unedible. Very disappointed. I'll give Fracassos on my list as a place to visit again, but this time I'll try the pizza or spaghetti like all the other patrons that were in the restaurant that night. read more

Being from an area where Italian food rules, I've been in search of decent pizza in Columbus, not an easy feat! Fracasso's has GREAT crust--hand tossed--and the overall taste is very good. I've had the meatball sandwich which was a-ok. Much better than many local shops. Don't expect ANYTHING other than a neighborhood haunt, crowded by blue-collars and families on Friday and Saturday night. Order what they are good at: pizza. I really have no problem with the food. We've been coming here for many, many years. My mom has loved this place for many years however now that she is in a wheelchair it is very difficult getting in and out. Could easily be fixed with a reserve spot and fixing the holes in the sidewalk entrance. Even for seniors not any wheelchair walking across gravel can be dangerous. I brought my family in on July 3, 2017. We had never been here but have driven by many times and the positive ratings on yelp made it seem like a good idea. As we were walking in we saw a man in the outdoor eating area that was passed out with a beer bottle next to him that had obviously fallen out of his hand. Not the greatest first impression when I'm bringing my kids in. Then when we get ready to order we started looking around and didnt see any seats available but see another drunk man playing his lottery tickets and sitting at a 6-8 person table. We made a comment to the girl that was taking our order if he would sit at one of the 2 person tables since we obviously couldn't fit there. Then we asked if she thought he was leaving soon. She kinda smiled and said he usually stays awhile. We left and I called to speak to a manager only to find they both had the night off. We were looking for a pizza place we've never had before so we tried this one. We ordered a pepperoni with a blanket of cheese (more cheese on top), BBQ chicken pizza with onions, tomatos, and chicken, and the tomato bread. Pep pizza was good but too much cheese for my liking. My BBQ pizza was exactly what I was hoping it would be...delicious. The tomato bread...Omg it was so good!!!
