So ordered a California steak burrito and house margarita, kind of my go-to when eating Mexican. The server acted kind of annoyed by my presence and kept asking if "he" brought my drink or took my order. The only "he" I saw, ran my check and grabbed a box. The waitress never asked how I wanted the margarita, I like rocks and salt, it came out okay but a few sparse flecks of salt at best. Next was the burrito, they almost always come with sauce on top? And I found a pea in my burrito? It I ever go back at least I know to ask for sauce, and my margarita how I like it. And probably a diff server. I still tipped over my usual 20%, I think less that $5 for a sit down meal is just a slap in the face. But def will be requesting a diff server if she's it next time. read more

I am a huge fan of Mexican food and this place has always been one of my favorites in the area. The atmosphere inside the building is pretty nice and welcoming. The only meal I have tried at this place is the California burrito with chicken which I love so much. The only downfall is they don't put any sauce on it, so I always ask for hot sauce on the side. This is usually no problem, except recently they started charging extra which makes no sense because I'm already paying a lot for the food for it to be totally sauceless. I still got it even tho I wasn't happy about it because the hot sauce is so good on it. Lastly, the staff is not super friendly-they definitely don't go the extra mile to make you feel special but they aren't mean either so that doesn't really matter to me. I definitely will keep returning back but please stop charging so much extra for sauce and also have your staff try and be a little more happy! read more

We had a nice experience here. The manager sat us right away. Our waiter was informative- Witty and prompt. The food came out in good timing and it was all around a great experience. The fajita taco salad over spinach was awesome ! The kids all loved their food. He brought my son extra cherries for his Shirley temple. He also poured me a very "nice" pour for my don Julio shot. I ordered the no. 13 with spinach enchiladas and a beef taco and it didn't disappoint ! This isn't a next level Mexican joint, But its exactly what you would expect and you get your money's worth. I wish they had more specials on drinks and food. Very nice staff, made a to go order. My first time here. Lots of seating but I did come before lunch during the week. I love authentic Mexican restaurants and this place has it all from the mariachi music to the name. Nicely located with ample parking. They have free ice cream for kids on Sundays. I placed a 3 meal to go and it was ready in 15 minutes. They mean business and want you to be happy. read more

Thanks COVID for ruining a perfectly good could be dine-in experience, but it's delicious for take out too! No wonder they have so many stars! I hadn't eaten all day and Mexican was calling my name, so my boyfriend suggested this spot, now here's where things get hairy. I was semi-drunk. Lie. Drunk. And since dine-in isn't an option, we decided to call in an order, buuuuuut I called the wrong place. My bad. Boyfriend goes inside to pick up our order and that's when we discovered my mistake, so the manager came outside to the car, took our order, and 15 minutes later I had piping hot fajitas and the enchiladas supremas, which were absolutely worth the wait and tasted absolutely amazing. This review is coming from someone who grew up in South Texas, so I know a little something about TexMex. Maybe this is supposed to be Californian? Or Tennessean? Whatever the case, it's fine. Compared to Chuy's in Nashville, which is the best in the area (not the best anywhere though), this place is mediocre. First the chips and salsa - neither one is fresh, and the chips taste like Tostitos. Which is fine, but mediocre. My son got the shrimp quesadilla and ended up picking out the shrimp because the flavor was weird. I had a taco/enchilada combo plate because that's the best way to judge a menu, in my experience. Again, weird flavors. The enchilada sauce in particular had an unusual, not great flavor, maybe smoky? It was fine. I ate it, but I don't know that I'd come back again. If you're not used to real TexMex, this place is fine. Great service, clean, quick seating. But that's about it. read more

We went on a Friday evening so we expected them to be a little busy. when we got there there were 2 families ahead of us and we were told 10-15 minutes to be seated. they never took our names though and soon there entrance was full of people waiting. they didn't seat anyone for Almost 30 minutes. they sat another family before us and we waited 40 minutes to be seated when they clearly had tables opened long before that. Then when ordering the waiter couldn't understand enough English to know I wanted raw onions in my meal instead of sautéed. took another 45 minutes to get food that was just plain Mexican food and nothing special. waiter came bye like twice the entire time and didn't offer to refill drinks. In the past 10 years, I've spent the majority of Sunday afternoons eating at Pancho Villa Grille. By far, my favorite place for Mexican cuisine! The staff used to know my entire family's drink order (six waters with lemon) and even be able to guess what we were going to eat. Although it's been a while since the family has had a meal together at Pancho Villa, I still enjoy taking friends. The service is always reputable, and the food is always filling. Simply Great Mexican Cuisine! Every town has its great Mexican restaurant, and in Clarksville, it is Pancho Villa Grill. Everything is amazing here. Literally everything. They also have great lunch specials and is a great deal for all the food you get. I usually can't finish my meals here and just take it home and eat the rest for lunch the next day. The service is excellent every time I visit and the food is always hot (don't burn yourself). My favorite menu item is the Steak Tacos, but all of the burritos are also delicious. I honestly don't know how this place is still in business. Clarksville can be so unforgiving to local businesses and this place has atrocious service. My family used to come here every other weekend because the food was so good, the price was right, and it was close to home. Let me get to the important parts.... -great salsa -white cheese dip has a nice little kick to it. -the margaritas get you completely annihilated after 2. Did I mention they always have drink specials? -Mexican rice is nice and fluffy. Refried beans are awesome as well. -tacos, enchiladas, burritos are all excellent choices. -never had a bad tasting night here. This is the best Mexican restaurant in Clarksville. I attended a birthday party there recently. The private dining area for the party was perfect. The buffet line food was plentiful and tasty. The service was one point. Whatever we needed was made readily available. I highly recommend this restaurant for any type of occasion or just a night out for dinner. This USE to be a really great place to eat. But not no more. My Daughter and gran babies went there for lunch today and the food was TERRIBLE. Who puts cucumber in Nachos? Not only that but the food had no flavor at all and was very watery. Not to mention that it took us a good 30 minutes to even get waited on and it's not like they were busy cause we got there just as soon as they opened.
