Born free is awesome!! I am very new to motorcycles and had a million questions. This shop is super helpful. They answered all my questions and brought my back to life. I came here for a 5k service and got a fair price. Everyone on staff is knowledgeable and knows about all types of bikes. Definitely going back

Top notch! This is the where you want to bring your Harley! Never take your bike anywhere else. They truly went above and beyond! Pricing is extremely competitive and they are super super knowledgable. They did a fantastic job and I will be coming back from here on out.

These guys are great. I've got a 2019 Sportster Iron 1200 and started riding a little over a year ago. I'm still a noob but I know good service when I see it. I wanted to get new pipes, air cleaner, grips and a few other small mods. Alex sat down with me and took the time to go over what I wanted and what the best options were. Dude has a lot of patience for a guy like me who's still learning. He even talked me out of doing some stuff that I really didn't need even though it would made him a few extra bucks. He quoted me way under my budget and the final price was within a couple dollars. The final result is a dream come true. The bike looks sick and rides amazing. These guys will be my shop from now on.

This is the local place to go to if you have a Harley! Great price, honest quote for work required and work needed! Talk to Alex and took in my sportster as a walk-in He recommends appointments but took care of me in a timely manner! Definitely a family owned atmosphere. Highly recommend BORN FREE CYCLES!... and definitely going back to have some more custom work done to my bike!

I had a bad run in with a shop i had taken my last two bikes, now thinking back it may have been why they had some problems...anyways I was recommended this spot by a fellow biker..said Mr. G will take care of you. No other selling point, none of this-he will do it for half price. A simple, he will take care of you. From the first contact I can tell Mr G was professional and also passionate about his work I just got the vibe. Initially I got quoted, thought it was a like high (not because of him but because I was getting tires) and thought I could save a few Pennies getting it done closer to home. Well after thinking about how helpful Mr G was when I asked him a million questions...i decided to take my bike to him instead of saving $100 bucks. He deserved the business this time and after this visit, he deserves all future business. He is great at communicating, fair and honest, but more importantly-you can tell he loves what he does. Very personable guy. Bring your bike here even if it is a distance.

The staff at the dealership were very personable and professional, I can't recommend doing business with them enough. STAY AWAY -- Worst Experience Ever (Ask for Anyone But Brian)…read moreRating: 1/5 stars If you are considering buying a car or managing a warranty at BMW of Burbank, do yourself a favor and avoid Brian like the plague. Calling him a salesman is a stretch--he is nothing more than a glorified paperwork pusher with zero customer service skills and zero integrity. Here is a summary of my nightmare experience with him: * Shady Sales Tactics: When I bought my vehicle on a 0% APR deal, Brian rushed me through the paperwork as fast as humanly possible because he was not making a fat commission on the financing. He even flat-out refused to let me add accessories at closing just so he could hurry and finalize the deal. * Disrespectful & Dismissive: Fast forward three years: the dealership specifically reached out to me about renewing my extended warranty. When I spoke with Brian, he could not even bother to address me properly or treat me with basic professional respect. * Refusing to Honor Coverage & Making Excuses: Out of nowhere, he claimed the dealership would not honor the extended warranty--and then tried to gaslight me by claiming he "recalled telling me this 3 years ago." Why reach out to a customer to renew a warranty if you are going to refuse to honor it and act completely dismissive? Brian represents the absolute worst of the classic car-dealership stereotype. Save yourself the headache, the disrespect, and the terrible service. Take your business to a dealership that actually values its customers, and stay far away from Brian.

DO NOT TRUST ALVIN, He will take parts from your bike reuse them on other bikes, lose important…read moreparts, or swap them with old and worn ones. Upcharge you for repairs He does not do or half asses. Below is proof verified by a trusted reputable mechanic. Had a few repairs done at this shop after getting rear ended and spent close to $2000 in repairs and parts. Alvin was the main contact and the mechanic who worked on the bike. He replaced the handlebars, rear fender, did a valve adjustment, checked compression, front break cylinder, break pedal, and etc. I when I picked up the bike the first time break cylinder was not installed properly leaking breaking fluid. There was/is a piece of metal rolling around inside the handlebars - that of which he did not remedy, I figured it's so minor compared to the major repairs I won't make a deal out of it. When he installed the rear fender, the sissy bar and small compartment was misaligned/fender was crooked- preventing the compartment from closing. He informed me that I needed a new stator and rectifier along with a gasket. When I picked up the bike after he said it was done, the bike was Leaking oil, the gear shifter was not connected, there was a missing alem screw, a part on the bike was not tightened, and a he had lost a bolt....and the bike was revving at 2000rpm. I had to bring back the bike for him to fix the oil leak and other issues he caused. I've been patient and respectful with him. When seeing that the bike was not put together after telling me it was good to go - he made comments about how it was not his fault. What the hell am I paying you for?! You're not even getting the parts. When I picked it up again (3rd time) the bike was idling lower than 1000rpm, still leaking oil and white smoke coming out of the exhaust on start up. I asked him to fix the oil leak since it was still leaking & adjust the idle properly and he said he would fix it if I would buy another part- pickup coil (that I had just had him installed) and would charge me labor. As it was a faulty pickup coil- which was new. I told him I already paid him for the work to be done and won't be paying for the issues he caused. Important- I tried to contact him multiple times through text and call, and have not heard back from him. The last I heard he indicated he was not making enough money at the shop to get by and is becoming a truck driver. Took the bike to another trusted and reliable shop further from me who informed me that the pickup coil was installed incorrectly causing the oil leak, there was no valve adjustment done. The mechanic also informed me that he had upcharged me for simple repairs that clearly was not done. The bike was loosing power has a ticking noise and other issues. A technician informed me that: pulse coil was twisted together and wrapped in electrical tape (per the pics) and not soldered! The plug under the side cover was broken and loose behind the out cap (picture). I had put in 2 iridium spark plugs and was informed there was 1 iridium and 1 old bpr70s spark plug- to make things worse Alvin took one of my new spark plugs and swapped it out with a crap one. The amount of money I paid does not warrant this crap job! And the audacity to lie to my face about the repairs he did. This is by far the worst mechanic I have been to, dishonest, does not admit his faults and is clearly not knowledgeable when it comes to repairs. If you've read this entire review I hope that these issues do not happen to you. Do not trust Alvin. And make sure that your bike is 100% when picking it up.
