Alex and Ryan are my go-to associates--they've assisted me with helmet sizing, Cardo installation, setting up my RAM mount, gear fitting, and thoughtfully walking me through other purchases. Their guidance has made navigating what can be an expensive hobby much more approachable. I truly appreciate their support and expertise. Went in looking for some gloves and Alennie (hopefully that's correct ) was EXTREMELY helpful. She could've upsold me on some options that were within my budget, but presented more affordable options that fit my needs instead. Been to this location a few times now and everyone has been exceptionally helpful. Today, though, Anthony really took the time to help me find what I needed. He also gave me a sincere congrats for recently completing my MSF beginner course. As a new rider, that made me feel like a kid being told "good job!" from a respected teacher. :) I have no complaints, just praise, for the customer service here. 4.5 stars I stopped by this store since I have an upcoming motorcycle class. I originally went in for boots only since I didn't have any that are ankle-protecting. I got the perfect pair of boots that works for now. And I also ended walking out with a much-needed helmet...that also works for now. Originally, I was about to borrow a helmet, but, with Jacob's advice, decided to buy my own. As someone who is just starting to learn, I didn't think it was a good idea to invest too heavily in $$$ equipment only to realize riding motorcycles are not for me. So, I ended up with Bilt products. Aaron helped me with boots and Jacob helped me helmets. Jacob took the same cycling course that I'll be taking, so I really appreciated his insight on the course. And also, really good tip from Jacob that classes might not have XS or 2XLs. I'll definitely be back when I'm ready to upgrade my equipment. read more

Needed a new rear tire for my Kawasaki and have to admit I'm so happy I went with Cycle Gear in Pasadena. Spoke with Eddie Saturday and he set everything up and set my new tire aside. When I walked in Sunday morning, the manager Matt was super helpful and knowledgeable, I think Eddie might have even showed up early to get my tire done. Often, on Google shopping, cyclegear has the best deal on riding gear, helmets, braces, etc, but we aren't even into motorcycles. We come 90% of the time for pants and jerseys, basically anything clearance priced in 3rd grader size. Now that EV charger installation has completed right out the back door of Cycle Gear, I come inside to browse or *occasionally* to use their clean bathrooms. I'm a complete beginner when it comes to picking out motorcycle gear. I wanted to pick up a helmet before starting my MSF course. So I thought I'd give this place a try. Let me tell you... EDDIE IS THE MAN! Very friendly and outgoing personality. He was very patient with me when I asked probably more than 100 questions. He made me feel comfortable being a customer in a community that I'm not really familiar with. Eddie Answered all my questions and concerns with expert knowledge while maintaining a smile on his face. He Did not try to up sell me into buying the more expensive gear. Kept it within reason in my budget in which I'm grateful for. I ended up choosing an AGV K6. Although it wasn't the color I originally wanted but it's already growing on me. After seeing they carried AGV helmets, unlike Bert's, I quickly realized I would probably need to spend more time in the store with my potential new helmet before purchasing. Get fresh and safe gear from here, customer service is the main thing here. Employees are more than willing to help, they smile and say Hi. I have been here a few times and been helped by almost the whole team and they're all great. I've even had someone from the back stocking area walk up to me while the salepersons were busy and ask if he could help me find anything. Big emphasis on customer care here. We asked for Scorpion exo helmets, a week later they had them. I needed warm axial head to toe for cold weather, they had it. Basically they got everything and the fact that you can order online ship it there not like it give it back to them and order something else is just amazing. Honestly the fact that this company does that and eats so much shipping costs makes me appreciate them more. Brand new rider at 55. My basic safety course instructors recommended this business for gear. After completing the AMO course and DMV process I visited the store on Lake and Anthony took the time to meet with me and talk. He had a wealth of knowledge and experience and took the time to speak w/ me, give advice and recommendations and the very helpful suggestion to explore different rent a bike sites for hands-on experience. After getting a great deal on a textile/ armor jacket I left the shop much more confident in my search for a first bike. Ended up with a 2023 Vulcan Classic LT which I proudly took back to the shop to show off and thank Anthony personally for the time he took in speaking with me.
