After I trusted the posted written reviews, company website 'about us' writeup and Mercedes Benz of Charlotte parts guy recommendation/suggestion......I had power steering pump replaced and brake booster at Bess Automotive on my 1999 ML430. Workmanship to my addressed pump and booster repair seems ok at this time BUT, they broke my radiator and tried to cover it up, blamed that the car is old, then costed out the radiator replacement and repair to me (at a discounted rate). After arguing in person during my vehicle pickup (telling me of my personal character issues while I said leak occurred AFTER other repairs), then I called back by phone (after I found the makeshift repair/leak and fresh glue), he said no hard feelings, then apologised and said "I've thought about this and I don't want bad publicity, I'll fix for free, just get it back to me". Folks, I worked Law Enforcement for nearly 10 years, I'm not accepting his offer as my integrity (not pride) is of utmost unwaivering stature.....I am a lover of truth, not deception. I plan not to visit again nor trust after this occurrence. I really wanted to hope I had found a trustworthy mechanic. I have a 1 strike rule, not to be burned twice (has happend too many times with other people)!
