    Cowboy Burger

I've dropped by this place a few times over the years - it's a good alternative to the McDonald's in Westwood Village when craving fast food. This place is truly a take out, eat in your car sort of place. No ambiance to speak of. The "okay" health sign gave me a bit of pause but looking up details it seems like they have straightened up over the past few years. Ordering happens from a screen next to the counter and it's pretty straightforward. They'll call your name and number from a speaker when the order is ready - it generally doesn't take too long. This time around I ordered a cowboy burger - i was happy with how thick the onion rings were and the patty was good, although the bacon could have been cooked a bit more. I also had their version of a blizzard with Snickers - pretty satisfying. I do like that this is a 24/7 place in West Seattle. Not that I'm up past nine... but I guess I could go at 5am one day.

Pretty classic. Pros: range of size/price entrees, great milk shakes. Cons, food overall is not great. Onion rings are the worst I've ever had. They look good, but their texture is like cardboard.

Never noticed this place in west Seattle until my husband drove passed it and saw it. Surprisingly the burger tasted similar to a Big Mac. The boss style fries was good, it has a hint of spice but you can't really tell, I wished they layered the sauce and cheese so the fries at the bottom gets flavor too. You order through the kiosk that is outside. Wait was not that long either but everything tasted fresh. The prices are also affordable. If you're in the area and want a quick bite, check this place out.

Make the ramp accessible (not as steep), or have a moving walkway installed on the ramps.

Honestly, I don't remember much from that visit, so if that's the case then the food probably wasn't memorable in any way. I will say, this visit most certainly changed that! As mentioned, this was during the White Center Pride Street Festival on a Saturday evening around 7pm. The last bit of DEFY wrestling wrapped up, so my foodie friend and I wanted to load up on some good food before calling it a day. It's located on the same strip of street as Lariat Bar, Puffy Pandy and a bunch of other eateries. Inside is a bunch of tables that need some bad wiping down, and those elementary school chairs with the metal bolts on the seats that always shock me when I touch them - also needed to be wiped down but weren't. Needless to say, i felt really icky while I was eating. The inside also shares space with Zeek's Pizza and what looked like a small supermarket full of drinks. Drinks and water are self-serve. Menu serves a ton of burgers and sandwiches along with sides and drinks, and you place your order up at the front. For this visit, I got their Link Up burger, which was their special of the week on the week of June 6. This comes with Italian sausage, a beef patty, pepperoncini (basically hot chili peppers), smoked gouda, chimichurri sauce and garlic aioli all in their buns. The spice from the pepperoncini gave this burger one of the best kicks I've had in a long time! That's not factoring in the slight spicy but savory taste from the sausages, and the already flavor-rich beef patty. Chimichurri sauce is tangy and a little earthy which made my mouth water after having multiple bites. For my next visit to Lil Woody's - be it this location or any of their other ones - I'm eyeing The Fig and the Pig or the Trotter, and probably grabbing a side of fries with it too!

This used to be my favorite burger spot in White Center, but sometime between July (when I was last…read morehere) and today the food quality has taken a massive nosedive. In particular, the burger patties are now thin, rubbery, and overcooked, and are like something from an industrial process instead of the thicker, juicier patties that they've usually been known for. I hope this is just a temporary setback in their ingredient supplier and not a sign of things to come. Even with the worse quality than usual, there was still quite a long line and the person at the cash register forgot to give me my fountain cup so I had to go back. Not a huge deal but still annoying.

The food wasnt too terrible. Fries weren't soggy. McChicken was delicious. Big mac was hastly put together and not that great. The biggest downside was the wait. It was semi busy at 10pm when I came and there was a line building of people waiting to get their food. Some were starting to get annoyed. Tons of solid deals available if you have the app which is the best way to get the most bang for your buck.

In the era of ensh!ttification everywhere, I suppose it's no surprise that McD's is showing its true colors as yet another soulless profit-gobbling corporation.
