Had dinner at Coastline Burger in West Seattle -- great spot for a casual burger fix! The burger was juicy with fresh toppings, and the fries were thin, crispy, and really tasty. I got the orange cream shake -- super refreshing and creamy, like a dreamsicle in a cup! Staff were friendly and even brought the food to our table, which was a nice touch.

Was looking forward to trying coastline having grown up in Seattle and raised on Red Mill and Ducks burgers. Overall the food was decent but probably didn't give enough reason to rush back. We wound up splitting a bacon cheeseburger as well as the chicken sandwich. The burger was decent but was a little dry. Wish it just had a little more sauce on it, might have been in part to the very porous bun (which was tasty). The chicken sandwich was definitely more of the standout with solid flavor and nice breading. I thought both could have been a little bit larger. The space is cozy and offers some nice imagery of historic Seattle. Not a ton of seating with only about 4 main tables so be prepared for takeout if you have a large group or go at a busy time. The TV's at the front are a little odd but fine, similar to how I feel about the touchscreen ordering which worked but I could see being challenging for older visitors. Food took a bit longer than expected to come out, I think takeout is probably the way to go. Overall decent spot.

Purely based on the food, decent burger. Had the spicy bbq and it wasn't that spicy ... it could also be that "not so spicy" season for jalapeños (as they were big, see the photo). The place had both indoor and outdoor seating (u pick) and orders were placed on techs. And when your order was done, they just called your names. Place got pretty packed for a Tuesday night.

Looking at the other photos online, people just dont know how to take pics. The food is hella good. We self-ordered and honestly it was personally skeptical but it was scrumptious. Simple but hella delicious.

After passing it for years, my family and I finally decided to check this spot out last week. maybe it was because we got there an hour 'till close but we weren't very impressed. Out of all of us, we all tried the Bacon Deluxe burger, Guacamole Burger and the Cheeseburger. I have heard good things about this spot but we had very bland patties and stale burger buns-- and cold fries. We also got their Signature Coastline sauce but it was pretty flavorless. This spot always looks popular in the summer, since they can open the windows and have patio seating, so maybe I will come back then to give them another try.

I live near this burger place and over the last few years have enjoyed it but the last 3 times it has been bad. I like to not judge too quickly so After the 1st not so great experience I went again. I ordered today and I am done. We ordered 2 doubles lettuce wrapped, they recently changed their lettuce from iceberg to leaf lettuce, the lettuce is wilted gross, dirty and rust brown. This type of lettuce doesn't work. The burgers were tiny and really greasy. It's a no for me. The fries were decent.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is casual and inviting, with friendly staff. The service is quick, and the burger is definitely worth the price. I would highly recommend this burger to anyone looking for a top-notch meal. Fries were thin & crispy & the milkshake was thick & creamy. I'll definitely be returning for another!

Doesn't do justice to how raw the meat was. Not even seared

$6 mark up for a veggie patty is insane. I stopped going here due to that ridiculous mark up. Only go if kiddo asks for fries after school.

I mean, theoretically, what's there to not like? I need fries and a burger and it's 11pm? Oh look,…read moreFat Shack's open! AND they have deep fried Oreos??? Sign me up. The restaurant itself leaves a lot to be desired, but I'm not asking too much. I believe the owner said he was trying to revamp the place. I hope that the area comes alive in the future years, that should help. Here's the issue though, this is the slowest spot ever. I've waited 30 minutes for fries - FRIES. I don't mind waiting for food, but it should remain reasonable. There were only two or three people working, and one man did tell us this, but I need to be honest - this was on Super Bowl Sunday. No one was able to get anyone a beer from the tap for 40 minutes, the food took forever and it appeared that online orders were being prioritized (which makes sense, you make as you get orders coming in, but that puts your in person customers in an odd and sometimes frustrating position). To be honest, I probably wouldn't have minded as much if I just had some fries to snack on. I didn't mind as much this one time because I was just happy to find a place to watch the Super Bowl Half Time show, but other days, it's a little hard to look past. I wish this business the best, I live too close to not hope for its improvement! Looking forward to updating my review. At the end of the day, if you're hungry, it's late, this is your spot.

After I ordered, they came…read moreout and told me they didn't have any Philly cheesesteak, so they didn't put it on the sandwich. Naturally, I asked, "So you didn't make the sandwich I ordered?" He said, "No, you got the sandwich." I said, "Okay... so did you make the sandwich I ordered or not?" He said yes. I open it up and it's literally two chicken fingers, fries, and honey mustard. No Philly cheesesteak. So I asked, "If you didn't have Philly cheesesteak, why didn't you tell me that when I ordered it?" He said, "I don't know, I can put it on the side if you'd like." I said, "I thought you didn't have any Philly cheesesteak?" He walked away, came back with a side of Philly cheesesteak, and told me to put it on the sandwich myself. For $19, I shouldn't have to assemble my own sandwich -- especially after being told you didn't even have the main ingredient. Just be upfront with customers.

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

The format here is casual, counter service, seat yourself. They have a good handful of burger varieties on their regular menu, as well as an option for vegetarians to get an impossible patty (they do not make their own veg patty unfortunately). They also have a happy hour menu which is posted up in the restaurant and goes from 2-5. I don't see that info on their website, so keep that in mind! The HH burger prices are a considerable deal. I had a lao burger and a small order of fries, which came out pretty quickly. The small fries ($5) are actually pretty generous, and probably could've been shared. Fries are super crispy and perfectly seasoned. The lao burger ($18) is hefty, with lots of variety of texture and flavor. Still satisfies that burger craving while being creative. It does slide around a lot, which is a bit of a pet peeve of mine with any burger or sandwich, and you really have to work hard to keep everything from sliding out the back. Prices are pretty average for the neighborhood, aka not crazy but definitely more than what you'd pay for similar in other parts of Seattle.
