Delicious beer. Dog friendly. Great food truck with burgers and fries. Awesome place to hang out with friends and family.

Stopped by for a beer while on the waitlist for a nearby restaurant. Pros: -Awesome variety of drinks. There were slushies, hard kombucha, ciders, IPAs, sours etc. -Generous Pours -Friendly Staff! -Ample indoor and Outdoor Seating Cons: -Interior was super brightly lit (not necessarily bad, just wasn't my thing) and really warm/stuffy Overall a solid spot!

This was one of the first places we visited during our engagement weekend in Bend. We stopped by for drinks and I tried the frośe and my fiancé got one of their hazy ipa beers. Both were delicious and refreshing during our summer visit! We purchased a pint glass from here too and it's probably my favorite one we've ever purchase (my fiancé collects them so we have a ton). The place is so cute and they have seating indoors and outdoors. When we went we sat outside because of COVID and it was nice and warm. We would definitely stop by here again next time we are in town. It's nice that there are options for non-beer drinkers too! I do drink beer but wanted something a little more sweet and cold that day.

Coffee mornings and beer afternoons. Outdoors and indoors have good vibes. The inside is bright and setup well even on a busy weekend. The Kook air tropical blast is refreshing and the double IPA is pretty good. Ladies love the slushies.

This is my friends beer spot in Bend. I was excited to try it. I love it. Solid beer. Great vibe. Very friendly people. Great music. Hard to be mad at such a good time. Highly recommend.

We love Boss Rambler! They make some fun, higher ABV IPA's and fruited beers that we love. The atmosphere is bright and tropical and I would bet that they attract a younger crowd. As a millennial, I can shamelessly admit that they are everything I look for in a brewery: great decor and branding as well as tasty experimental beers. Don't hesitate to pay them a visit!

Our first stop for a beer and grabbed an Alohaze Hazy IPA. It was delicious! We sat outside since we had the pups with us. The fire pit was nice as it was a tad cold (40s) out. Very nice spot to try out to have a beer before heading to the other spots.

    Outdoor seating is great

Awesome, happy to see this tasteful, fun, and quality craft beer stop open here in Bend. The beer is excellent and well worth a stop on your brew tour. Build out is really exceptional, comfortable all the way around indoors and out. Ramble on Boss. Beers are all hand crafted so I am sure will be changing with the season. Had a Java stout which was great, also great food and coffee drinks available. All the b.s. aside this is a fantastic spot.. forget about the unfriendly goofy neighbors, weird parking signs, whatever they may try and throw at it ... you will enjoy yourself here. We are regulars because it's fun and everyone is relaxed and happy to be there. Happy to walk to or ride our bikes to visit, and we will no longer visit the establishment next door. Kind of sad you know !

Update because Boss Rambler has, as anticipated, completely changed with the completion of their pub. Nice inside bar with a view outside. Or you can sit outside with a view inside. Or you can sit outside with a view of Galveston. They probably are going to need more shade as the summer comes - the springtime sun is already a bit much. The super white tables don't help. Prices are in line with Bend and they offer three sizes. Ambiance is good and unlike other brewpubs in town, especially with the seating options inside. Music is generally not too loud, so you can have a conversation (but I'd still lower the volume a bit). At one point it was loud enough that the bartender four feet away didn't hear my order correctly and gave me a beer I didn't want. Food is limited to the single food cart parked on the side of the building. A few sandwiches, fries. One vegetarian sandwich. The beer. If you like hazy, this is your place: - Boss Sauce: smooth drinking hazy. Not particularly hoppy as anticipated by the description - "hops on hops on hops!" - but still a good pour. - Adrift (In the Dark): a collaboration with Silver Moon. Really nice dark ale. - Bro?Brah!: More of a typical Oregon hazy IPA. My favorite of what's available now. - Lost in San Blas: a lager that drinks like a light IPA. Nice. - The ALOHAze hazy IPA offered last year is not on the menu at the moment. That one was my favorite. Service at the bar is mostly good but uneven. It's early yet. A couple of the folks pouring beers (one in particular) haven't gotten into the rhythm of high volume barwork. Refraining from checking social media on your phone while customers are right in front of you waiting to order would go a long way to help there. I'd like it if they figured out their tab policy. I pay in cash and most pubs in town are good with keeping a tab open without a card if you're drinking inside at the bar. Here, that worked the first time but not the second. If they have a happy hour or local's night, I didn't see any evidence. Parking. Yeah, they probably need to figure that out and maybe post a sign to let customers know what's what. Recommended, and it will probably get better. Along with Bevel Brewing in 9th Street Village, Boss Rambler appears to be the happening new place in town. But they have stiff competition nearby from Sunriver, 10 Barrel, Brother Jon's and The Lot, all of which offer way better food choices. And there's Westside Tavern.

TLDR: Juicy beers & adorable curb side seating. We were able to snag one of these cool outdoor seating spots - there are 3-4 total, most can seat 4. The interior decor is bright & airy, and we got drinks right away mid afternoon on Saturday. We got the hazy IPA and both thought they were juicy and flavorful. Parking is primarily street/neighborhood parking.

Boss Rambler was definitely worth a visit! They have multiple hazy's and some fun other options so if you're in for some great beers and creative flavors Boss Rambler is amazing. The unfortunate thing for when we visited was the lack of any food options, in house or food truck, but it was made up with the quality of the beer and service. The staff were friendly, the location is super fun and they have a cool variety of seating both inside and outside. Their menu is not super extensive so the options are limited but if you like Hazy beers this is definitely an awesome stop in Bend!

My wife died and went to heaven when we stepped inside here. We went to as many breweries as we could find in Bend, there are a lot. This brewery stood out among the rest. We came on a Wednesday afternoon when they were having "Moms and Groms", what a genius idea. We checked out the patio and we could be there the entire day and not feel like we are missing out. We will be back.

Inexpensive, great lightening and a chill vibe! It's very islands feel here with coffee and a daily drinks. Definitely coming back!

The past week I have visited twice, since their outdoor remodel is completing, and they have new food trucks becoming part of the team. I am so excited for the changes that have been made and the new food trucks joining the absolutely fabulous El Sancho truck. As for the brews, Crux always has a selection of great IPAs, they also have some innovative brews, such as Bochi Bochi, a rice lager, and (though not often) make truly spectacular ambers and browns. Do yourself a favor and drop by for a pint and/or a meal, you will be glad you did.

Serves food and also may have a food truck open. Our last visit we enjoyed the bowl of chili and Caesar salad was all A-OK. The staff was helpful even when busy. Interesting to note, it's like all the beer drinker mt bike folks that used to all come here years ago just happened to grow up and have kids at once, so now it definitely has a very kids playground scene, but I still think it's cool here. (Just go inside to avoid the mayhem. lol!) It's sweet that they create a fun environment outside there. A suggestion maybe would be create a small section outside. that's a no kid table for sunshine and drinking too. ;) it looks like they're making good use of their space. I noticed many changes since the last visit. Looks like they have a party room you could rent, lots of fun well designed swag for purchase, ect. Crux will be always be on my brewery list for Bend, I will perhaps just avoid peak weekend hours. Cheers!

The food was hands-down the best brewery food I've ever had, but let's talk about that pretzel. It was, without question, the best pretzel I've ever eaten. We chose to sit inside for lunch and had wonderful table service. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, and exactly what we were looking for. After we finished eating, we weren't quite ready to leave, so we grabbed a spot in the outdoor seating area to watch one of the World Cup matches. It ended up being the perfect way to spend the afternoon while our 4-year-old burned off some energy running around before we headed to the airport.
