Boss Bowl - brisket and garlic noodles
    Marissa C.

Been a customer since the food truck on Lopes and they are consistently 10/10. The brisket and burnt ends are always on point and the birria and brisket tacos are fiiiiire. Smokey and flavorful meats for sure. The owners are always pleasant as well. Pull up on em!

Over priced, the portions were small and the food was mid. The chicken plate came with 1 pc of chicken thighs for $30.

The servers were nice and personable. Husband noticed they had ceviche on the menu, either camaron (shrimp) or pescado (fish) "made at time of order". When the ceviche came out, we were both blown away. Plenty of fresh fish pieces served with a darker sauce, not the usual clear lime juices. The flavors were so fresh and full of umami, it was a burst of goodness that you must try! I asked someone about this - turns out he was the chef! I forget his name but he was so gracious in explaining the salsas he creates and adds to the juice for that delicious burst of flavors! I had never seen this before. It elevated that dish so much. He spoke about how this is actually traditional in his hometown in MX. He then surprised us when he came out with 2 small bowls of the salsas, one brown and one deeper red. So delicious and fun to taste on their own and with chips too! I had a combo plate with the chili verde enchilada and chili relleno. The pork in the enchilada was super fresh, soft, flaky, incredibly yummy! We'll be going back for sure.

The octopus was over cooked burnt and dry. Hector the manager refused to replace or discount the meal. The discount would not be significant. Its the principle. Never order the seafood tacos. Especially the octopus. Im guessing the the seafood was prepared hours ago. It was not fresh and.hot. Just for customer service sake that you over cooked the seafood

When ordering my husband asked about chips and I pointed out that the menu says 1 basket is included and the cashier nodded. When our food came my husband asked for our chips and the guy said we had to order them and they charge for them. My husband reminded him that he asked when ordering and I again referenced the menu saying 1 basket is included,he said the policy changed and there was a sign on the wall somewhere. My husband had asked for his chimi to have red sauce and I had asked for mine with green, they both came mixed with both sauces on them. The red sauce wasn't very good and it was weird being mixed. My chimi wasn't very well cooked, kinda doughy in the middle. We didn't get a receipt so we couldn't reference the amount we were charged for each thing, but by menu prices it should have come out to about $55. The amount they charge was $80. $80 for 2 chimichangas,a beer and a ranch water and No chips??

Walking in, I was immediately greeted with smiling and welcoming vibes from the ladies at the front and told to take a seat wherever I'd like to sit. The hit for me is that MENUDO is available on a non-weekend! I've been craving it and when I ordered it (on a Tuesday), I hoped it would be fresh and it was! The broth was savory and flavorful as is but with the added oregano, dried peppers, onions, and cilantro to my liking- it just made it even better! The best part was that you can either order it with pata or no pata. Shoooot, you don't have to ask me twice! I said I want the pata hahahaha that with tender and not overcooked tripe was just what I was wanting! If you love menudo, this is a place I'd recommend and go to get it regularly. The MICHELADA MARISCADA is tasty! It's a mixture of seafood in a sweet and tangy sauce. For those who do not like spice, this is a great option. I was with someone who doesn't like spicy food and isn't a big fan of Mexican food but MAN! she killed the entire plate! So now we have a place that we both can really enjoy together. Will be back!!

The most disappointing element was the carne asada itself. Rather than tender, well-seasoned slices of grilled beef, the filling consisted primarily of small, dry, crunchy pieces that lacked both the texture and character of properly prepared steak. Traditionally, carne asada is made from cuts such as skirt steak (arrachera) or flank steak, grilled over high heat and sliced into strips. That preparation preserves the meat's tenderness while allowing the marinade and char from the grill to remain prominent. Unfortunately, the beef here felt more like fragmented remnants than deliberately prepared carne asada. More broadly, the burrito seemed to lack the care and attention to detail that can elevate simple ingredients into something memorable. There was nothing particularly offensive about it, but there was also little that suggested the food had been prepared with the level of craft or affection one hopes to find in a good neighborhood taqueria.

We were able to sit down right away in the bar area so that was nice. Our waiter came over pretty quick to see if we wanted anything to drink. We ordered some waters, a Paloma, and a beer. He came back shortly with chips and salsa and waters. We took a few minutes before we ordered and for our order we ordered the Birria tacos that came with beans and rice and the enchilada and Tamale with beans and rice. The chips were fresh and the salsa was really delicious. It was just enough spice in it and the flavor was great. Our entrees came out shortly which was pretty fast. The Birria tacos were fresh and hot, the flavor was great, and the dipping sauce completed the tacos. The Tamale and Enchilada was also delicious. The Chicken inside the enchilada was tender and tasty, the tamale was also fresh, tender, and cooked perfect. The highlight of the meal even with everything tasting great already were the beans. The beans had so much flavor to them, and cooked perfect. I don't know what they put in the beans or how they make them but, they are the best refried beans I've ever had. Our waiter was really good, I didn't get his name but kudos to him as well. The place is really big inside and has outside seating, with a bar area as well. I will definitely be back when I'm in town. I took pics of the food from the people next to us a burrito and a burger of some kind.
