I respect people side hustles but season Y'all food. It makes me when we spend money for very low quality of food. Then you have customers hyping it up before you order, making my mouth water drool but when you get your order and take a bite you like yuck This is not a 5 place neither is it worth 4 . At best it's rated a 1 . The food is not even seasoned. Yes it's big portions but no season in the taco meat. I got 4 asada tacos and 1 asada torta for the cost of $29 and both orders weren't seasoned. Service was low level. Ambiance is a parking lot. The music was the only thing that was good. I really can't believe people be so excited to be in line for unseasoned food. Never again. So yes this is not a place I'd recommend to anyone.

Phat generous portions! Baked potatoes and burritos as large as your head. You can split a burrito between two and a baked potato for a family of four. They do not skimp on the meat or cheese. Drinks are also tasty and homemade. Stand also comes with a hefty sauce bar. Fast and friendly. Late night cravings. Stop here for that curb appeal satisfaction.

Al pastor - see pineapple on top!

I visited Oaxaca City in 2006, and the slow cooked (with a pineapple on top) al pastor street tacos for 11 MXN ($1) I ate while waiting for an overnight bus to the coast was life changing! I'll never forget standing around eating one after another between swigs of Modelo with friends... California tacos have always been generally great, but this place is special. Since Oaxaca, I've only had as good al pastor in Mexico City last year in a similar setting. So I'm super excited and grateful that Vallejo now has its own amazing popup serving these incredible tacos, and more. My husband is a burrito guy with a big appetite, yet the servings are so hearty he can only eat half in one sitting. And my al pastor tacos sent me back to that Oaxaca bus stop with adventures ahead. Sitting on a busy corner parking lot, this place is super popular so expect to wait, plus parking can be tricky. All said, the service is efficient and people are patient to wait for what they know is a good thing. While waiting you can bag up your own garnishes like pico, salsa, pickled peppers, sautéed or raw onions, and more. I saw some people enjoy their food in their cars, but both times we brought ours home since we live close and the packaging keeps everything together well. Truly the most authentic Mexican al pastor and more you'll find in Vallejo.

I was a little put off with how much I paid for a burrito. It was $19 because I had half asada, half tripas, but I was hungry at midnight after traveling. Little did I know that this was probably the best burrito I had in this city. The only place worthy that is serving late night craving in the area. Highly recommended if you are hungry and need your Mexican food fix.

A friend from out of state ate here and always had good things to say. I went a few day ago and got asada plate with cheese, bacon, onions bell peppers etc. It was delicious!

Absolutely delicious! The tacos al pastor and chicken were both packed with flavor, and the homemade tortillas took them to another level. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The pico de gallo was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the tacos. Easily a 10/10. I'll definitely be coming back!

Always incredible, generous portions of delicious flavorful food. A gem of Vallejo Love the papa rellena (stuffed potato) which they load up generously and serve with a stack of homemade tortillas.

Great food for late night eats. Just park ur car, walk up, huge menu, order. Get ur toppings in containers and sandwich baggies. Wait for order. Get order. Drive away. Do u get a lot in ur order? YES! Does it fill up your tummy? YES! Satisfaction exceeded? YES!

If you're a taco lover in Vallejo, Tacos el Sazón Oaxaqueño is a must-visit! I had the carne asada and pastor burritos and tacos, and every bite was incredible. The meat is juicy, tender, and seasoned perfectly. The flavors are rich and authentic, capturing that traditional Oaxacan flair. I honestly couldn't stop eatin, it's that good! The portions are generous, and the food is super fresh. This truck truly knows how to deliver on flavor and quality. As an expert taco eater, I can confidently say this is the best taco truck in Vallejo. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch taco experience! Service was excellent! Also their outdoor set up it's legit as it gets!

Probably the best quesadilla I ever had, soo delicious with all the toppings/sides. Parking is very limited. Cash or Zelle only. No bathrooms. Right across street from gas station. Could be a long wait to order and get the food, but so worth it. No where to eat, so We ended up eating on the hood of our car, makes the experience more enjoyable.

My favorite was their chicken tinga, which reminded me of the chicken burritos I used to get back in my hometown across the bridge. I immediately told myself I'd have to come back and order a chicken tinga burrito. A few weeks later, I finally returned on a Sunday while they were serving their World Cup Sunday brunch. I ordered a chicken tinga super burrito and a California burrito to take home. I was really excited to dig in, but when I opened the bag, the "super" burrito looked more like a regular burrito. The flavors were still great, but the filling was disappointing. There was barely any chicken or sour cream, and I had to eat more than halfway through before I finally got a decent balance of meat, rice, and beans. I even had to add my own sour cream because there was so little inside. As for the California burrito, it was just okay. The fries were stale, and there wasn't enough sour cream or guacamole, which made the burrito pretty dry. It honestly reminded me more of a breakfast burrito than a California burrito, and I wasn't a fan. Overall, the flavors are definitely there, and it's clear the food has potential. However, the portions felt skimpy for the price, making the burritos feel overpriced. I'll give Sol y Sazon another chance because I know they're capable of making delicious food, but if my next experience is like this one, they'll likely lose me as a customer.

MI JALISCO RESTAURANTE -- SOMEONE CALL LA MIGRA BECAUSE THIS FOOD IS ILLEGAL!…read more HOLY CR*P... I HAVE FOUND THE GOOD STUFF! I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS RESTAURANTE!!! I ordered the Birria Tacos and the Torta Ahogada Mi Jalisco, and I'm not exaggerating when I say this was some of the BEST Mexican food I've probably ever eaten. And I've eaten a LOT of Mexican food. The birria tacos were so damn good I briefly considered hiding under the table so nobody could see me ordering another round. The flavor was on point, the meat was fantastic, and everything just WORKED. Then came the Torta Ahogada Mi Jalisco... HOLY. TACO. TRUCK. That thing showed up looking innocent and left me questioning every life decision that had previously led me to eat anything else. THIS is what I mean when I say authentic Mexican food. No nonsense. No boring, flavorless food that makes you stare at your plate wondering where the personality went. This food showed up with its boots on and went straight to work. And judging by the crowd, I'm definitely not the only one who figured this place out. This place was PACKED at lunch today! That's usually a pretty good sign that the locals know something the rest of us are still trying to figure out. The restaurant was clean, tidy, busy, and full of good energy, and the service was absolutely AMAZING. Everyone was friendly, polite, and working their butts off. I also had my service dog, an American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT), with me. They politely asked if he was a service dog, I answered, and that was literally the end of it. No drama. No interrogation. No circus. Just respectful people treating us like human beings. And THAT deserves some recognition. ‍ So here's my official DirtyFender Food Finder ruling: Food: ABSOLUTELY KILLER Flavor: OFF THE CHARTS Service: FANTASTIC Cleanliness: SPOT ON ‍ Service-dog experience: RESPECTFUL AND EASY Tip: TIP THESE PEOPLE WELL! Seriously, when you get great food from people busting their asses to serve you, SHOW THEM SOME LOVE. The cooks and servers deserve every bit of appreciation they get. I walked in hungry. I walked out happy. And now I'm sitting here wondering how soon I can go back without looking like I've developed a serious emotional attachment to a restaurant. MI JALISCO RESTAURANTE -- YOU ABSOLUTELY CRUSHED IT. If you're debating whether to stop here, STOP DEBATING AND GO EAT. I've been coming here for years, usually on Thursdays after school because my son likes to order…read moreplain chicken with fries. We order ahead because we're on a tight schedule -- I'm a busy, involved parent getting him to the gym after school. A few weeks back, despite ordering plain chicken, his plate came out with pico de gallo. He won't eat it that way. I didn't have time to drive back, so I let it go. The following week, we ordered in person and the waitress assured me she double-checked the order. My son's meal came out correctly -- but my plate was made plain instead of how I ordered it. Not a big deal. I can eat it. I called simply to let them know there was a mix-up -- not demanding anything, not asking for free food. What I wasn't prepared for was being called a liar. I was told the order was made correctly and that if I wanted it fixed I had to bring everything back immediately -- including the salsas. I explained we were on a time schedule for my son's gym session. Instead of understanding, I was told my "games won't fly" there and that I was being a "Karen" looking for free food. My son was hungry and upset during the call. She heard him. We drove back anyway. I placed the plate on the counter, and once she saw it, the mistake was obvious. Only then did she offer to remake it. At that point it wasn't about the food -- it was about being accused of lying and being publicly disrespected in front of my child. Weeks later, I noticed the order was never refunded. I had to dispute the charge with American Express to get my money back. I've supported this restaurant for years. This wasn't about a wrong plate -- mistakes happen. It was about how we were treated when trying to resolve it. I can't return after being called dishonest and a beggar over a simple order issue.
