This food truck is located in a parking space of an old closes furniture store across Walmart Vallejo. They have tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, sopes, ceviches. Meats include: Asada/Steak, Pastor/ Spicy Pork, Carnitas/ Fried Pork, Pollo/Chicken Cabeza/Head, Buche/Stomach, Tripa/Tripe, Lengua/ Tongue. They also have drinks available. I tried their regular carnitas burrito and regular tripa burrito on a late afternoon weekend. It's not the best comparable to others I have tried but affordable. Too much beans in my opinion. Will come back again to try others. This business accepts Cash only. Tables and chairs available.

Haven't been here in years. I used to always get the tacos but switched it up and tried their asada burrito. Overall very happy with it. Tasty, hot, flavorful and cheaper than a burrito from Chipotle. Tastes better too

I don't think they are still cash only because I think they accept Apple Pay/card now. This was also one of my go to spots for burritos while I'm on the go and I know people also like their tacos, ceviche, and tostadas. Prices have gone up in general over the years but I was shocked to see a $20 super burrito back when it was less than $10 in the past. I love Carne Asada and I got the carne asada regular burrito and it never disappoints, can last me up to 2 meals. I also got the pickled vegetables, red and green sauce as well as chips. I didn't have to wait too long, they're located at the parking lot across smart and final at the old furniture store parking lot and there's a table outside off of Sonoma Boulevard. Service is quick and great! And glad to see them still in business over the years!

This is a no frills, great quality taco truck. We have a lot of tacos trucks to choose from, but here the quality of the meat is better than the other trucks. Their super burritos are bigger than other locations and do offer carne asada fries. I always ask to make the fries extra crispy. Prices have slightly gone up... but you still can't go wrong with 4 tacos for $10.

They don't have the best taste, but if you're looking for something unique, you can get the giant burrito. It was mostly rice. I asked for extra cheese, but didn't get much - nor did I get much meat. Green salsa was good though. My wife is a taco fan, but didn't think much of their carne asada street tacos

You guys are sleeping on the chicharron burrito. It will change your life, forever. You will never want to get it at any other place. Its not dry and dehydrated. But juicy and crunchy. I like mine extra fat girl style with extra sour cream, lol.

I went today to get some lunch and I got tripas tacos and ceviche The tacos were so good!! They made them perfect and Crispy, best tacos I had in a long time! The ceviche was a little bland but I added salsa and it helped. The shrimp was fresh as well. I've tried their burritos before and they are so good so I would suggest to come and try their food!

Best lengua (tongue) tacos I've ever had. We moved away from this area to SoCal and I still can't find tacos that compare. It comes with beans and they serve with a yummy grilled onion. We also enjoy with Mexican cokes and horchata. Location: in a parking lot of a furniture store, plenty of parking. There are a few picnic tables (no umbrellas and no heaters) if you want to eat there. Note: cash only and no atm on site

This food truck is in the parking lot of Vallejo Furniture. The food is fantastic and very well prepared and the owners are wonderful folks. The carnitas tacos are worth the experience. Well seasoned, double tortilla, and extremely flavorful, they are a perfect lunch or dinner. Highly recommended.

Food is tasteless & super fatty. Over priced. Carnitas burrito was more like a rice burrito. They need to add more meats to their burritos.

Hell nah. $9 for a small little sad burrito. Pretty much just a rice burrito, super skimpy on the meat. Poorly wrapped to top it off

The line was considerably long around 7:30 p.m. so it took a while for us to order and receive our food. I like that the tacos here are single tortilla -- as opposed to double tortillas, so the filling to tortilla ratio feels a lot more balanced. For both tacos, the meat is incredibly tender and flavorful. Although a bunch of sauces and garnishes are provided, the taco was good enough on its own. Of the sauces we received, my favorites to add was a squeeze of lime and the red sauce, which had a nice smokey Chipotle flavor and wasn't overly spicy. My friend ordered a quesadilla and it was absolutely massive! I definitely would only recommending ordering a quesadilla if you're sharing it, or if you're coming with a massive appetite. Overall, Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño was a nice gem we randomly stumbled upon while routing to In-N-Out for burgers. Between the two, I would certainly save my stomach space for tacos from Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño next time.

One thing that caught me off guard is that there are no prices posted anywhere. They simply tell you your total at the end, and in my experience, the prices are higher than I expected. To help others, here's what I was charged: Aguas frescas (Horchata, Strawberry Horchata, Piña, Jamaica): $7 each Burrito: $18 Mulita: $9 each Torta: $13 Huarache: $16 The food itself is very good, especially when they're not busy. When it's slower, the portions are generous and everything seems to be made with more care. During the rush, though, I've noticed the portions get smaller and the food feels a little rushed, which is disappointing considering the prices. One of my favorite things is the salsa bar. They have a great variety of salsas and toppings, including cucumbers, pickled cabbage, and other fresh additions, and you can help yourself. They also had four different aguas frescas available when I visited: Horchata, Strawberry Horchata, Piña, and Jamaica, which was a nice selection. I do think the customer service could be improved. A little more friendliness and better communication, especially about pricing, would make a big difference. Overall, the food is tasty and they offer a great selection, but I'd really like to see prices posted and more consistency with portions, especially during busy hours. Hopefully this review helps anyone wondering what to expect before ordering.

La Joya Taco Truck has been on my radar for years. I finally tried it for the first time last year,…read moreand since then it has become one of my go-to taco trucks in Vallejo. The food is very, very good, the prices are reasonable, and the portions you get are worth it. It's kind of hard to miss when driving by, but they also have a small sign near the street letting you know they're there. I had known about this taco truck for years but never stopped until last year, and now I wish I had gone sooner. I ordered a super burrito and a few tacos. One thing I really like is that they actually list the length of their burritos on the menu. That's a nice touch because sometimes you order a "super burrito" somewhere else and end up with something small. Here, you know exactly what you're getting. Out of all the taco trucks in Vallejo, this is easily one of my top three burrito trucks. I try not to burn myself out eating at the same place too often, so I like switching between favorites, and this is definitely one I keep coming back to. I almost always get the steak burrito. One thing I really love is the pico de gallo they use. They use red onions, which gives it a nice touch, and every time I get it, I can really taste the cilantro in the pico de gallo throughout the burrito. The steak and chicken street tacos were also really good but the burrito is always my favorite! Parking is never an issue because they share a parking lot with an auto body shop during off-hours, so there's usually plenty of space. They also have cones to help guide cars entering and exiting the lot. When your food is ready, they call your order number over the microphone/intercom system, then ask if you want red or green sauce and chips. Overall, I've always had a great experience here. If you're in Vallejo and looking for a good taco truck, I definitely recommend giving this place a try.
