My first time at this shop, went there because it was near my shop and my car was leaking antifreeze and over heating. Took it in to get fixed brought it in at 830am got it back at 330pm. So they text you an invoice telling you how much it's gonna be labor,parts,taxes. They told me I need to replace hose connectors wich was gonna be $220 total. They also recommended to change the thermostat wich was another $324 but I declined that. What they don't tell you in the invoice is that they gonna charge you a diagnostic fee of $158, you find that out at checkout. I mean a diagnostic fee of 158 just to see that I need new hose. read more

Called ahead stating a specific issue with an easy fix. Secretary interrupted twice and assumed I needed a tow, which I didn't. Stopped by explaining exactly what the issue I was having and offered a video of how to fix the common issue. Few hours later, I call back with the secretary stating he'll call right back with the quotes because vehicle was "finished" then promptly hangs up. I call back 20 min later to secretary saying $155 for diagnostics. Instead of explaining why what I was proposing to repair, they charged me $166 and offered a steering column, for a 2009 vehicle, for $287...when it only needs a single pin to operate properly. Would not reccomend this spot unless you like wasting time and money. read more

Sorry to say my experience with this business was "HORRIBLE" I brought my car to Rogers Automotive just recently. And Vinny one of the sales / service guys was trying way to hard to upsell service. He tried to charge me for an Inspection Report?. I never asked for an Inspection? . Then Vinny tried to charge me for what he said was a lift fee? I refused to pay both of them.Then Vinny got very angry. He then told me not to come back there again. And that they didn't like my kind there. I've been a resident in the city of Woburn for over 50 yrs. Never had an experience like that with any garage. Sad to say I wouldn't recommend. read more

On the recommendation of a friend, I've brought my car to this garage several times. There services are impeccable and I've never had trouble getting an appointment. I wish I had a kinder comment, but their pricing is absurd. I just paid $100 for a replacement screw on my license plate and a replacement bulb for my front headlight. The car wasn't in the shop for more than 20 minutes and while there was no price on the invoice for the replacement screw, there was a $33 charge for labor and additional labor charges for the labor for the lightbulb replacement. This is a great garage to use in the pinch, but for anything minor, I'd definitely go elsewhere. read more

I have been using them for a number of years now and they are always very friendly, knowledgeable, and the pricing is reasonable. This AAA approved repair shop is professional, capable, reasonably priced, and the shop stands behind their warranties. What more could you want in an auto repair shop? My experience: I was towed there with a burned out Subaru engine, and during the engine replacement they found other real mechanical problems not identified by the dealership and made those repairs. The car ran like a dream after they were done. The replacement engine was defective and they stood behind their warranty and replaced the engine at no charge. My car stopped wanting to steer Tuesday morning when I was leaving for work. They are in my AAA network and I was able to get it towed for free. I am not that familiar with cars but had an idea of what was wrong. They later sent me an electronic report on my car with pictures that helped me see what issues needed to be fixed immediately. The mechanic comes across as nice and trustworthy but I did not enjoy my experience. Firstly my car was towed to the shop and they did a diagnosis. I paid for all necessary fixes aside from one less important one I did just a week or two later. After the (technically speaking) second visit where all was officially fixed, I thought all was fine until the same problem occurred again just 2 weeks later. I had to pay so much money in total to fix this problem which was extremely stressful due to financial difficulties during the pandemic. I was also charged for an oil change that I never authorized or was told about until after it was done. I don't feel confident or comfortable with the shop since I've had to return again for the same problem after 2 diasnoses. Im glad other people have had good experiences but unfortunately I just can't return to this place especially since I'm not super knowledgeable about cars and don't want to question if that naivety is being taken advantage of. Don't like writing bad reviews but just feel very frustrated. read more

I have been to Rogers for many years. They have always been reasonable and frequently wouldn't even charge me if they discovered nothing wrong. I dropped my sons car off yesterday and they told me that it was an exhaust problem that would probable be covered by warranty. I said, even though the car is 6 years old. They said yes. Today they call me to tell me that it will cost me $900 and that it isn't covered by warranty and that I owe them $96 for telling me this. I expected a cost for diagnosis but not happy with having to pay for 2 hours of labor to find what is rather obvious. I will not go back. I had another experience a few times where my car smoked after just an oil change because they spilled oil on the car! Something so simple as an oil change. read more

It's always tough to find an honest mechanic, and I can finally stop my search, cause now I know Frank from Rogers. I went to Rogers because I heard a weird noise from my car. They took it for a spin, and Frank (the owner) told me "It's the brakes..." I was thinking, oh great, here goes my few hundred dollars... Frank continues "we can clean it up, and it would be as new as it can get". 2 hours and 70 dollars later, the weird noise is gone, and they did the adjustment. I am now feeling safe and happy. Rogers is awesome. I know that when I bring my car to Rogers it will be fixed. Plus they are friendly and knowledgeable. For someone that knows nothing about cars, they have had the opportunity to rip me off a number of times, but they have always chosen to be honest. For example, I once brought my car in because it was shaking at high speeds. They found that it was due to ice in the wheel well. They could have charged me for all kinds of stuff, since I know nothing about a car, but they were honest and didn't charge me anything for letting the ice melt. Due to this, I continue to bring my car to Rogers and I highly recommend them to others. Stop reading and go to Rogers. read more

brought my audi in for an oil change... had to leave the car there the whole day for a oil change. come to pick it up 7 hours later the oil change bill is $125.. got charged 18 dollars for oil filter which cost 10 bucks at the store. i never payed more than 80 for an oil change. then as i left my hood wasn't closed fully had to close it myself then 20 min later i get a call from the shop that they didn't put my air intake back together which i never told them to touch so i had to drive all the way back ($6 gallon gas) and open my hood my whole intake was shaking back and forth loose. didn't compensate me for anything. then proceed to quote me 55 for a air filter that cost 10 dollars at the store and takes less than 10 minutes to put in. then also tried to quote me on my left axle at 235 dollars. which i can buy the left and right axle myself for less than the price they quoted me for one. total ripoffs just want ur money. go to rock auto.com for parts 50% cheaper than any automotive place and all oem certified. don't let scumbags try to rip u off. older generation needs to realize the younger is 100x smarter read more

I owned my own Auto-Repair business years ago and was an ASE-certified mechanic. I continued to do my own maintenance and repairs until recently as I no longer had the time to do it. I struggled with the thought of paying someone to do something I could do as well as wondering if they could do it as well as me. I was referred by a friend so I thought I'd give Rogers a shot. Right from the start I was impressed with the knowledge of the Service Writer at the front desk as I listened to her (yes HER) explain the purpose and function of O2 sensors to a customer on the phone. I never mentioned my knowledge or previous experience in the industry as I made my evaluation of their knowledge and honesty. What I found was a very honest, knowledgeable, and friendly staff that properly diagnosed my brake problem, repaired it that afternoon at a fair price, and suggested the replacement of my serpentine belt which I knew I was overdue for. No additional upsells or unnecessary work. They have a good balance of young and seasoned mechanics. This is the new "Home" for my family's vehicles and I would highly recommend Rogers to others. read more

Excellent service and communication. This is the most honest Auto shop I have ever been to. I used to take my old Nissan Altima 2000 to them 5 years ago and they did excellent job every time. Once I took my car to them for some repair when my bumper was detached on one side after a small accident. I needed them to fix it in a cost effective way since I was going to trade my car in a year or two. They fixed it by simply attaching it back using some metal wires. For FREE. Five years ago I bought a new car and also moved far so I did not get a chance to bring my car to them. Now I live close enough so on Monday I took my Chrysler to them to get an exhaust system leak fixed without any appointment. They fixed the issue next day in a right and cost effective way simply by welding the leak. If I were to take my car to the dealer, they would have asked me to replace the whole pipe as they usually do to milk as much money as they can. These guys are honest, reliable, and always recommend the best, cost effective solution for your car problems. read more
