My wife found Auto Precision based on the reviews, and I'm so glad she did. It was a totally different experience to any repair shop we've used over our many years of car ownership. Both Anatoly and Andrei talked us through things (Andrei the insurance side and Anatoly the car side). They worked directly with our insurance, kept us updated the whole time, kept meticulous computerized records and helped us make sense of what was what with our insurance (including that we had an outstanding check owed to us that we should get re-issued from the insurance company). They took what was a stressful and confusing situation and made it feel straightforward and logical. Most importantly, our Jeep looks beautiful. We had some old scratches from bushes and parking lots and sticky remainders of ill-advised packing tape, and they took care of those things as a little extra with no charge or even mention of them until I brought it up to thank them. They detailed the car, and it felt new despite our multiple kids & dog. They have been in business for 40 years, and it is clear why. The owner of the shop was extremely unprofessional, he kept me there for an hour and a half when I really only needed to be there for 15 minutes, all he needed to do was pop open the hood find out there was a leak in the slave and master and then have me sign a piece of paperwork. But in the hour and a half I was there he asked me where I lived, how much I earned, where I worked, if I would come live with him or if I knew any other young girls who would come live with him and he also kept trying to find excuses to give me a driving lesson, when I do not need one. He finished the work in 2 days, which wasn't bad. The day before I went in to pick it up I explained that I couldn't pick it up during normal business hours because of my work schedule and I asked the owner if he could just leave the car locked with the keys inside and that I'd pick it up around 8pm (I have a spare key). He agreed to this but when I went to pick up the car the next night it was parked on the side of the road unlocked with the keys in the ignition, and there was a burning smell every time I drove My car for 2 weeks after. Fast forward a month later to today and my gears are beginning to have trouble shifting again so I popped open my hood for the first time since I got it fixed and found a burned milk jug with brown liquid in it under my hood and my coolant tube for my engine was not sticking into whatever it needed to be in, it was just laying on top of my engine. Now I know why my car smelled after, it was the milk jug they left in there burning! I am absolutely furious with the quality of the work and how I was treated and would definitely not recommend this place, especially not to a young female.
