I've been wanting to try their Sicilian-style pizza for quite some time, and my birthday cookie…read morereward finally gave me the perfect excuse to celebrate. They already have a fantastic thin-crust pizza, so I asked if they could make the Sicilian style with the muffuletta toppings. No problem at all. It took a little longer than expected (ordered for 4:45, ready at 5:00), but it was absolutely worth the wait. Ordering is easy online or by phone. If you get voicemail, just call back - they're probably on the phone with another customer. Now, about that pizza. The thick Sicilian crust had the perfect chew: light and airy inside with a crisp, golden bottom. Every bite was loaded with the bold salty toppings, bringing a savory, slight spice/pickled kick that paired perfectly with the oils and melted cheese. The toppings reached edge to edge, creating a pizza that was hearty, flavorful, and impossible to put down. Please pencil in a visit to The Deli on a Wednesday to grab one of their pizzas. I do recommend ordering ahead to claim your dough. This version reads like a Yelp review and really highlights the texture and flavor of a loaded Sicilian pie.

Amazing amazing! The food here is always fresh and I've never had a bad experience. Great variety…read moreof subs, chili, soup du jour, pizzas, and desserts. Great customer service and they will customize every sub or pizza the way you want. They use top line Boar's Head meats and freshly delivered sub rolls, homemade spreads and dressings. Homemade soups and chili are always so good. Can be pricey but you get what you pay for. Parking is ample and they have a few tables inside for seating with simple ambience and decor. There is a cooler with self-serve drinks and desserts. Meatball sub is so good (homemade meatballs of course), and the homemade olive spread on the muffaletta hits the spot, New Orleans style! Pizzas are fresh and tasty also with fresh made dough and ingredients. Call ahead so everything is ready when you get there!

I ordered an egg breakfast sandwich with home fries and an apple juice, which came out to about $25. While the food itself was a bit on the bland side and felt a little limited for the price, the ambiance really stands out. It's a great place to catch up with friends or family over brunch and enjoy a warm, welcoming vibe. Not somewhere I'd go out of my way to revisit, but I'm glad I stopped in and appreciated the atmosphere.

Here's where it all fell down. After placing my order, I turned my back, reading the menu. Then I heard the microwave "ding" and saw my pain au chocolat removed. Really?? (I once had a Cordon Bleu-trained pastry chef explain that croissants should never be re-heated because it ruins the scaffolding of the butter/flour feuille, or "sheets"). I then tried the various seats in the Danish-style cafe. Stool? No love: They're metal and lack cushions. Chairs at the tables were also metal. I settled in an honest-to-God church pew: The kind the Puritans used, to reflect upon their sins. Do yourself a favor and get your treats to go.

My wife had died three months earlier and after visiting her grave at the cemetery in Hamburg I was looking for a coffee shop to relax around noon. The only place open was The Yellow Deli at 327 Buffalo Street and the second I walked in I knew I was in the right place. Being a deeply spiritual person I was intrigued by this line on the cover of their menu, "We serve the fruit of the Spirit. Why not ask?" So I did and I was beyond overwhelmed by the people who operate this amazing restaurant at cafe and by their Christian beliefs. I love their story and what they stand for. The Fresh Green Mate was to die for and it was so good I purchased a brick and use it nearly day. The Bristol Fillet with the wild Alaskan Sslmon was the best as were their soups, which I have every time I visit. It's a great restaurant, kitchen staff is superb and the people are top quality. I have and will continue to return.

Great atmosphere with a most unique origin. Breakfast seems limited selection but lunch is well rounded. Tried the beef/brisket sandwich with 2 cheeses on a homemade onion roll. I initially was heading for another place off this exit, but when nature calls you find a nearest place. Right off the exit makes for it to be a quick and easy stop. The lot was ample and had a done of parking spaces for all sized vehicles. I parked on the side of the building that did not contain the pumps. It was roomier and felt like easier to enter the store from this side. I went inside to use the facilities and check to see if there was anything on the shelves I might want. After browsing I decided to not grab anything and headed outside to stretch my legs. I figured since my intended stop wasn't much further up the road I could hold off on grabbing anything.

At that time I was young, and youthful, and trim, and bouncy, and hopeful, and not yet tainted by the scorn of age and years of life disappointment. So of course I remember Country Fair fondly. :-D We recently stopped at Country Fair on a family road-trip for lunch, and I can confirm, it isn't just nostalgia clouding my positive review. This place is still a solid stop. We grabbed some prepared foods, and a couple made-to-order subs. For five or six bucks a sub, it's similar to but still better quality than Subway. Subway toppings all taste the same, like they're all chopped with the same knife. Country Fair toppings are more fresh. Plus they have Miracle Whip! That's a HUGE PLUS in my book. Another stellar aspect of this road stop is the coffee options. There were at least five different brews ready to go, plus a cappuccino machine, a gourmet hot chocolate and latte machine, and a HUGE creamer display! On top of the bountiful creamer flavor options, there was a whole rack of flavor syrups to pump into your coffee concoction, too. I'd say about 95% of the time I drink coffee black, but here I couldn't help but making myself a Peep-flavored coffee. It was delicious, well worth the splurge. We ate in, and the table area was clean, comfortable and more than adequate. The bathrooms were fine too. And the radio was pumpin' out 90s-hit-after-hit, seriously like they had a dope playlist ready just for me. I don't pass through Springville nearly as often as I used to, but when we do, Country Fair is a must-stop for this fam'. Maybe a Miracle Whip sub and crazy creamer coffee will be my Mother's Day pick this year?? :-)
