If the job was too much you should have came clean and took some pride in your work said we can't do this, nah. They sent me to Fief and Steffen and they got me too. He kept all the staff we've grown fond of and added some delightful new team members. He has extensive training in cosmetic dentistry, sedation, implant work, root canals, and he's a Gold provider with Invisalign. He can handle just about everything without sending you on a scavenger hunt across the valley. His superpower is his gentle, unhurried approach ....especially if you're someone who's had a bad experience in the dental chair. I can truly say that my experience with Dr. Darroca was the best that I have had in 65 years ( and I have had a lot). He is very knowledgeable and uses the latest technologies (he used a laser to heal my gum inflammation - something that I have never encountered). When he administered the shot to numb me, I barely felt it. He had to grind a crown off to replace it; again, it was painless. His assistant was extremely professionally, telling me at every step what she was doing and asked if I had any questions. Absolute dump. The dental care is even worse. The dentist - DR. Darroca, let the assistants do most of the work which, for the most part, is sub par. Their big money maker is "Deep Cleaning". They will try to sell it to you even if your periodontist gives you a clean bill of dental health. While they accept dental insurance they will hound you for payment until the insurance issued the covered cost. And then they will add a fraudulent "late payment" to your bill just for the hell of it. Bottom line the dental treatment is subpar, the office is less than clean and I would never go back there even if they were the only dental service in town. read more

We were referred to Boca Park Dental by my doctors for pain in my mouth. Dr Peter B was absolutely amazing. He was able to check my x rays and issues I was having and narrowed it down to exactly what was causing my pain. He referred me to another office to get my root canal done before he finished the work he started. He truly cares about his patients and even called the other office to see how I was doing. No other doctor has gone out of there way like this. I really wish there were more doctors like Dr B. I was very sad to hear he was retiring and wish him the best on his next adventure. He will be missed. The ladies in his office were amazing as well and don't want to leave them out. They care for you and make sure you are comfortable as well. A while ago, i had the most uncomfortable experience of my life at a dentists appointment. I saw the other reviews that said these guys were unprofessional but decided to ignore them because they're the closest dentist to my apartment. I wish i hadn't done this. They're so much worse than unprofessional. They are openly money-hungry sales slime and will pressure you to buy services that you 1) do not need and 2) are directly opposed to your best interests. The dentist (badalamenti) is, generously speaking, a pompous prick. He's proudly rude, condescending, and outright manipulative. I have severe mouth trauma from an injury that took 2+ years and several surgeries requiring anesthesia to repair from a sports accident that took place over 10 years ago. On our FIRST meeting, without looking at my x rays for any more than 5-10 minutes, he insulted the dentists (that did miraculous work) and tried to convince me to un-do everything they did so he could "put a crown on it". Since that would be the dental equivalent of trying to fix a shattered vase with duct tape, I obviously declined. What a stupid asshole. On to his hygienist, Susan, who in comparison, makes sub-prime mortgage lenders look like knights of ethics . During your appointment susan will try (totally unsuccessfully in my case) to upsell you on laser cleaning and other expensive procedures. While laying on their table, unable to communicate, you'll have to decline these services several times before she stops reading you advertisements. In the process, she ends up adding 15-20 minutes to your appointment from trying to peddle you mouthwash. Hey, Susan! You suck at ad-reads. You're so obvious it's embarrassing. You are a disgusting pig. She will also touch you inappropriately the entire time. While trying to explain how to floss (an explanation that i did not need nor ask for) she began rubbing my arm in a way that made me physically recoil. Later, to indicate the appointment was over, she smacked that same arm, hard. Obviously i'm not hurt, but she hit me firmly, and i was stunned. I paid, left, and thought about filing a complaint with Nevada's state board of dental examiners. I eventually decided against because as a result of me leaving nevada shortly after this appointment, i don't have a reason to care about their dentists and didn't bother. But these guys should absolutely be out of practice and possibly behind bars. Also, when i was in the office, i think the dentist told me that he likes to f**k kids. I am a patient in my 30s who has had major dental work performed since childhood and it has always given me anxiety. usually from before I even walk in and begin all the paperwork to the end. from being called back to leaving, this was one of, possibly the best experience I have ever had. I have severe anxiety due to a bad experience with a prior dentist. Freddy, Ms. Laura, and Dr. B all kept me comfortable and calm during my super easy and quick visit. They gave me a blanket AND neck pillow just to keep me comfy throughout it all! 100% recommend to anyone suffering with anxiety during their dental appointments. UPDATE: Went in to get cavities filled for the first time. Angela and Dr. B literally made me feel so comfortable! I did not feel ANY pain from the numbing needle or the drilling - which were the parts I was most anxious about. The whole process was done thoroughly but still went by quicker than I expected. Angela and Dr. B made me laugh the entire visit and they both definitely cured my dental anxiety! Felt so welcomed the entire visit. Been coming here for a few years now and no complaints. I admittedly did try to find a dentist that was closer to our new home but it just wasn't the same and I ended up coming back. It's worth the drive in my opinion. Front office staff and hygienists are always so friendly and greet you like an old friend. They are always so nice and get me in and out pretty quickly. Dr. B has also been very friendly and helpful with getting me back on track with my flossing and gum issues. After a couple visits I'm happy to share that my visits to Boca Park Dental have been pleasant. Dr. Hoang and his team are big on patient education. This stood out to me and I find it really important, because as a patient, I want to trust the professionals who are taking care of me. It's highly likely the employees have changed since the reviews posted here from a couple years ago. I do not recognize any names mentioned. With that I want to shine a light on Stacy my hygienist. A very personable and professional person. She explained my x-rays in understandable detail; the whats, hows, and whys. She was gentle through my cleaning procedure, and talked through calmly when she administered anesthesia before my cavity fill :P The admin staff up front are great too. I received a reminder call. They had the breakdown of insurance coverages and patient responsibility ready. They work on a paperless system, which I'm aware improves patient information privacy. Unless you ask for printed copies of documents, they'll let you keep them. But remember when the small doctor offices used to have a wall full of jam packed files? So I'm keeping them as my dentist office. They're convenient, friendly, patient education oriented. On my last visit we had some laughs. My husband and I had just moved here about 6 weeks ago. My husband told me on Sunday January 23rd that he has pain from the tooth that anchored his bridge. Dr. Peter Badalamenti :one of the most dis-honest dentists in Las Vegas. On 5/21/2020, I visted Boca Park dental to address having some tooth extractions. Badalamenti came hopping in the room, said he knew me from one of the books I wrote, also said he thought ,.." Covid is a hoax." THAT concerned me immediately. He acted more like a little organ grinder with the pet monkey; the guy people throw nickels at rather than a professional dentist. Then he read xrays, said I needed 2 root canals (I did not and 2 dentists later said I do not), then said I had high blood pressure which I do not and never have. On the contrary, my blood pressure has always been in the college-age healthy range. But he had a very young girl take the pressure with what looked like a 1970's electronic device, not properly with cuff and steth. The readings were insane. So high, I should have been in an ER. Yet I was calmly telling him that his machine must be way off because I had just been to my Physician, whom I visit monthly for my key-man checkup and she reported my pressure to be the usual near-perfect range. I have a medical condition that needed surgery , but nothing any dentist required a clearance for when extracting teeth. Yet, he was paranoid about that (but, keep in mind, Badalamenti told me he though Covid is a hoax...). Three times, with the little scuffed-up machine , the girl took my " pressure" and each time the reading was ridiculous. I threw the bib aside, got up and advised the imbicile I would have my doctor write a letter about my pressure. And let's not forget that Badalamenti suggested two un-needed root canals in the front teeth! The reviewer herein, who called Badalamenti a scam artist was being kind and incomplete. The fact that a dentist, in the middle of 2020 to say that Covid is a hoax while standing there with his mask not even covering his nose and giggling, goes into the territory of being totally incompetent and a danger to the public. I waited a good while for my physician to write the letter. But as anyone can see from the photos I added herein, It states that from Jan.,2016 through Nov., 2020, that my pressure is ALWAYS and was ALWAYS very normal and still is Normal. I have also included a photo of the post-it that his girl who took my pressure wrote on. As one can see, they are ridiculous-- as though they're being used in a comedy film. When I related all of my experience to my physician, she laughed and said that the pressure taking was obviously nit done properly. One, because a little electronic pad should not be used and the big fact that those readings did not agree with fact. There is no way my pressure was perfect that week and at his visit , skyrocketed to levels shown. It cannot hapoen. Even in an excited situation, those numbers can't happen. And as soon as I left Boca Park dental, I stopped at another facility. My BP? : 128/70. Badalamenti is an incompetent, dishonest, conspiracy theory-believing individual who has no place treating people. Photos should attached herein. I were writing this review purely on the merit of the front office staff, the assistants, and the dental hygienists, they would wholeheartedly received five stars. You won't find a kinder, more professional team anywhere, period. Dani, Nikki, Justine, Janet, and Wendy (among others) are excellent. But this poor review is aimed at Dr. Badalamenti himself. He is friendly and charismatic but I do not feel like I received quality, professional care from him. Over the course of nearly two years as his patient I had multiple dental issues that either weren't appropriately addressed or felt that his responses and solutions to them were cavalier and didn't properly solve the problem(s). When I brought my dissatisfaction with his care to his attention, he took umbrage and accused me of insulting and bullying him. I assured him that advocating for myself as a dental patient does not fall under the umbrella of "bullying" and that it shouldn't be insulting to bring up my concerns as a patient. Regardless, he refused to treat me further and asked that I find another dentist saying, "It shouldn't be hard, there's only about 800 in Las Vegas." Heard great things about this place from family, but I was very disappointed. After taking X-rays of my teeth and receiving accolades from the two techs conducting the procedure, the dentist walks in and informs me that I am in danger of developing cavities in several areas. He also informs that there is an area of concern in a bridge that I have. However, at this point I am very confused due to the fact that he never once check my actual teeth which means that his professional opinion was based on X-rays. This does not make sense to me. He was also quick to refer me to a specialist. I informed him that I recently retired from the US Marines, had my teeth cleaned religiously all my life, and have only had one cavity my whole life (10 years ago). I then informed the dentist to simply clean my teeth. Next I was handed over to a lady to do the cleaning. Wow! She was brutal. I felt every tooth and crevice she "cleaned." Finally, she stopped cleaning and informed me that my gums were bleeding from multiple areas and that I also had several infections. I informed her the reason why my gums were bleeding was due to the draconian amount of pressure she applied to my mouth. Yeah...funny, sad, and painful at the same time. I then told her to finish cleaning my teeth so I can leave. Even after she "finished," I was never offered mouthwash, and my mouth and teeth did not feel clean. The process simply felt incomplete. I do not appreciate the way these people tried to steer me toward more expensive treatment. All my life dentist and dental hygienist have praised my teeth. Now, I retire from the Marine Corps and my teeth do as well?? Something is not right, and I am willing to bet it's not my teeth. read more

I called in to see if a need a replacement for my temporary crown that broke during my trip but the specialists at the clinic suggested that I wait till I go home to replace it- they could do the work but it would be too costly compare to waiting a couple days before I come back to my provider at home. Decided to check out Boca Park Dental after seeing their $59 New Patient Special around the BP center. From start to finish, everything was super easy and the staff was very friendly. Vincent was able to get me an appointment convenient to my schedule and answered all of my questions over the phone. You could hear his smile over the phone~ Dr. Badalamenti is very charismatic and bubbly and he makes your dental appointment enjoyable. He answered all of my questions and went through everything in detail. Ellen took about 19 x ray images and then a few from her little mouth camera tool. She was very sweet and tried to make it as comfortable as possible. Jill and Dani did my cleaning and my teeth feel brand new! Also, they both have such a positive energy! Niki discussed the estimated charges with me based on Dr. B's findings without any pressure to commit. I went to DDS Badalamenti's office for a semi-annual cleaning and x-rays. This was my first visit to this guy and man what scam artist this dirtbag is. The x-rays showed an abscess above the tooth next to my two front teeth. Badalamenti said it needed a root canal. I said o.k. let me see the cost and we can do it today if you have time. A few minutes later his administrator came in and showed me the cost. $1582 for a root canal. I've had root canals in the past and I know that my cost with insurance would be a fraction of that cost. Badalamenti's admin wanted me to sign the cost which would have me op-out of my Delta Dental insurance. I asked why so much and his admin said that I needed a crown. I said I have teeth in my mouth that had a root canal years ago and did not need a crown. Badalamenti came back in and told me that the tooth could get brittle and break off so that was the reason for the crown. I said that if-or-when that happened, I would get a crown and not until. I also said that insurance was not going to pay for a crown and I wanted it pre-authorized by Delta Dental. Badalamenti says, "That's the only way I doing it" and he walked out. I told his admin I'm not paying extra for the crown and to get the procedure pre-authorized. Even though Badalamenti says he accepts Delta Dental it appears it is used as a scam to get patients to opt-out and pay him a premium for work not needed. After I declined the work, I had the dental hygienist clean my teeth. This woman is harsh, not just her technique that was rough, but her nagging constantly. My guess is the whole office gets a percent if a patient opts-out and pays a premium. They never sent in the pre-authorization. read more

At first, I loved it here. But my last visit made me sad. When you don't ask questions, they are so nice. But once I started to ask questions about my treatment, once I started to ask about price, and what can be done first, it seems I became problematic.
