I have been looking for a new dentist for a while, since my dentist of 15 years retired 3-4 years ago. I tried a few ones, but I was disappointed. After checking Yelp reviews in several local dental clinics', and checking my dentist network, I called this dental practice, "Affordable Dental II", made an appointment with Dr Tiburcio, and I was really impressed with his persona, because he listened to my concerns, took the time to address them, and gave me good advice. In addition, he took the time to go through my x-rays, my dental health, etc. He was not in a rush like most dentists; I consulted in the past. He did not try to push treatments that I did not need and were suggested by prior dentists. I truly appreciate Dr Tiburcio's honesty, something it is very hard to find these days not only with dentists, but with other businesses in LV. 1) Also posted on Google. 2) Ist visit check in, xrays, Dentist excellent confirmed last Dentist 5K recomendations not necessary, but equipment not working, had paid for cancer screening. Had to reschedule. 2) 2nd visit completed as leaving realized cancer screening not done as checking out. Told Next visit. 3) 3rd visit very large black lady persistent of scheduling next appointment, then polished my teeth 1st! Left me in chair over 30 minutes with BET station on, went out to Dentist & asked if they forgot me, another lady came in, did cleaning, asked about cancer screening believe it was the black lady came in & said not available. Still called the next day & another to schedule despite telling the day before didn't want to as many other appointments. 4) Went to the W. Ann location, short staffed, was informed cannot put crown back on, need new. Left. 5) Got text from their Decatur location for routine appointment. Called to inform never been there. 6) Called last Friday & left vm to have clinic manager call me. Absolutely unacceptable service. I scheduled back-to-back after-school appointments for my daughter six months in advance--specifically timed to avoid pulling her from class and to work around a pre-planned family vacation. This was the SECOND time they've unilaterally moved our appointments to midday slots on different days with zero prior notice. When I confronted the manager, she claimed she "can't make changes" and would "contact her regional manager, Maria," to handle it. Refusing to provide supervisor contact info while promising to file the complaint herself? That's not accountability--that's a dodge. This place is a fraud. Don't expect your appointment time to be honored if they decide to shuffle things around. Stay far away. read more

Dr Tiburcio is great! He took his time to explain and show me everything that I needed to get done, in specific detail, where I actually understood exactly what I need, and why I need it! Fantastic dental office - I found this office by looking on Yelp for a dentist close to me. Boy, did I luck out. Doctor Tiburcio and his staff are the best. I had lot of work done and it was handled so very well and professional. After 3 months of work I am finally all done and smiling is my favorite pass time now. When you get to your retirement days and need lots of dental work you are in the right hands here. - After the work was done (denture upper and other work) everything worked right away. I had no problems and when I went for my post check told him that I had broken one of my still "own tooth." He repaired it and it in no time and now I can relax and very happy. I wasn't super happy with my first appointment here in July as a new patient. My appointment was 15 to 20 minutes late, and then took a little over an hour. But I found the staff to be very friendly and the dentist, Dr. T (I forget his name) was professional. After talking to him about my teeth, I waited a while for someone to come back in. When they told me I could go I asked about the cleaning because all they had done was take x-rays and have me speak to the dentist and the hour or so that I had been there. Apparently the person who scheduled my appointment forgot to tell me that they do two separate appointments for new patients. Which is something I have never heard of before. It was odd and very inconvenient. However, I just came back today for my first cleaning, and Kristen did a great job! She was friendly and efficient, and made the appointment go by quickly. The hygienist who polished my teeth forgot to do the fluoride treatment, but that doesn't really bother me. I can always get it next time. Just make sure you are aware l, because the front desk wanted to charge me for fluoride so I had to let them know that it wasn't done. I honestly wasn't sure whether to give them three stars, or four. I want to give four stars for the politeness and friendliness of staff, but as far as organization and time management I feel like they deserve a three. My 4 kids and I have been going here for a couple years now and we have no complaints. Even my 6 year old daughter is always looking forward to going to her appointment...which is the first for my family cause my 3 older boys never looked forward to it when they were her age. Everyone here is so friendly and professional - from the front to the back office. Now with COVID happening, they are doing a lot more to make sure that they are following all necessary guidelines. Initially, I had some reserves about taking my kids for their cleaning, but that changed once I arrived. I can tell they put a lot of effort to make sure they are doing everything that they need to stay safe, not just for their employees, but their patients. I mean, you can never be too safe right? I like how they also space out their appointments to help limit the amount of people in their office. Dr. Tiburcio is cool. I have been coming to this office for about four years now. It's time to write a review for this great dental office! It's a clean and friendly environment. You feel very at ease when you are in there. It seems like a one big happy family when you see the staff interacts. I have not waited more than 15 minutes on my visits. That's definitely a plus for me. No one likes to wait in the doctors offices. The team is excellent at what they do. From the front, the office manager Tasha is friendly and professional. The dental assistant Toni is funny and knowledgeable at what she does. I usually go to Loura for all my cleanings and hygiene needs. She's the best. She's very gentle with the patients. She never tried to sell you something you don't need. I enjoy my cleaning visits with her each time. Dr. Tiburcio is awesome. He makes the visits easy, fun and stressed free. I love Dr. T. at affordable dental in CENTENNIAL HILLS. He did the work on my front tooth that was knocked out at Disneyland in 1981 when I was in the band. Disney paid for all the expenses and Dr. T took great care to design the tooth which looks so much better than the one I had for 40 years. He to do a bone graft and put a titanium rod for the implant. His professionalism and demeanor made me very comfortable. If you can get in with Dr. T. I highly recommend him. read more

My wife and I were in Vegas for a trip and she needed to have tooth pulled. She was in a lot of pain. We struggled searching out a dentist that would take her insurance or was affordable. As much as I hate giving giving one star (wish this could be zero) rating, here is why. First of all, they kept cancelling my husband's appointment. They cancelled my husband's appointment three times and pushed it back three to four months. He needs a teeth cleaning every three month due to a periodontal condition. Second, the manager of the office is so rude and indifferent to us. She had the audacity to be condescending to my fourteen year old daughter. Third, they called to cancel my daughter's appointment two hours before and couldn't get her another one until next year! Really!!? Fourth, I called to get my daughter in sooner than the three months and have yet to receive a call. Fifth, while in the office, they beg you to give good yelp reviews. Affordable Dental is by far the best dentistry I've gone to! Upon arriving I noticed the seats were spaced out for social distancing, and the entire staff wore masks. When I went to the back I rinsed my mouth with something that killed any bacteria in my mouth. This is an exceptional way to make sure everyone is safe during the pandemic. All of the staff were extremely friendly! My 7 year old really enjoyed getting her teeth cleaned as well! I don't understand they won't give back my $100 dollars. I put in $100 deposit as requested by Natasha the Office Manage. The appointment was cancelled as I am not comfortable to proceed with the consultation on cosmetic dental procedure and now they won't give my money back and coming up with all sort of excuse for some unknown charges. This dental office is holding my money for a service that was not provided/rendered to me. Beware as I have been a client for more than 7 years and referred multiple friends and family members but it seems like the pandemic took a toll at their customer service. Not only did they held my money, Natasha also forgot the appointment she booked me over the phone and when I showed up on appointment day she insisted she never talked to me and did not even apologize for the error they made. Had a hard time from the get go with my braces , dental work unorganized and Natasha at the front desk was always seemingly unempathetic . Infact I felt like she enjoyed giving me bad news . Told me I had to go to another office because they sold my contract to another orthodontist . Ok fine I'll switch I have no choice but wouldn't give me any other information about where I was supposed to go. She told me to google the place which I did while I was busy at work and couldn't find the correct business. What a joke of an office assistant. Dr yogi was the best thing they had going on there. I went to this clinic on July, I paid everything there and I asked them if I needed to pay anything else and they said that's all. However, they sent me a bill saying that I need to paid more. I contacted the clinic for a couple times to fix but no response from them. On October 19, 2023 I headed to the clinic and ask about the charges. A woman named "mariane" very rude snatched the paper away from me and said that it was from July. I told her that I know that but they didn't specify the charges, so I asked why the charges. She didn't answer the question and keep saying you need to pay this. I told the clinic that I will contact the insurance in the mean time I'd need to cancel future appointments to avoid confusion. She proceed to do it, however she didn't provide me with the confirmation. I asked her three times about the confirmation to avoid more charges. She refused to give me the confirmation and kept saying while laughing that she is the manager and the clinic doesn't do that. Then, she stated that if I have an issue I should contact corporate but they won't do anything anyways, dismissing me from the clinic literally saying: you can leave now. Never encounter any issues like this with a clinic before and it's shame that this woman "mariane" calling herself "the manager" was acting very unprofesional. Do not spend your time and money on this so called clinic and find a better one! This us clinic is so incompetent and unprofessional. read more

If you have Guardian insurance do not use this dental office. The office manager does not know how to file a claim properly. She runs interference to keep you from speaking to the MD. She has lied repeatedly and cost me 2 years, over 4K of dental benefits, because she repeatedly makes the same mistakes. Even after having to make an appointment just to speak to my dentist about the mishandling of my claims and her direct interference in my communication with him, he evidently did nothing about it, only to have it happen again and have her call me directly to tell me that I cannot speak to Dr. Tiburcio again! I have been waiting for over a year and a half for this office to get an authorization, while I am clinically ill and need md care urgently. But the office manager, seems to believe she can practice medicine without a license, and that her job is more important than my health. I honestly should sue this office as a I have lost my teeth and my health due to her lack of patient care. If this is not reason for firing someone, WHAT IS? Honestly beware and know your benefits and follow up as I cannot be the only person who was denied due to her mishandling of my claim. I could understand it if it was only once but not year after year, even with my follow up, three way conversations with her and the insurance company only to have her do nothing!!!!! read more

First off the only reason why I would give 5 stars is for Dr.T I have been coming here for about 7-8 years now and he is amazing !! While I have been here so has my sisters and there appointments for cleanings have been cancelled same week and moved to 4 months out and this has not happened just once. Also I get my cleaning on days Dr.T is not there cause it works better for my schedule and they always tell me he will look at the X-rays and if he needs me to come back I can. This last time they told me I have to come back before he looked at my X-ray someone who works full time and goes to school full time it sounds like they just want to bill my insurance again. I've been a client for almost two years! Dr Tiburcio is a star! Very meticulous and caring to his patience. From Hygienist, to Veronica and Natasha the office Manager - their teamwork is admirable. I've been very happy with my regular check ups, cleaning and recent crowns - they take time to make sure my bite/chew measurements are comfortable and feels even/natural. They also assist me with insurance and financing recently - easy approval takes only minutes. Even through the pandemic they remained organized and caring towards their patients- there's been employees turnover from my previous visits but hasn't affected their office greatly since I get there on time and they seat me on time and I can go about my day. Great location. Easy access from 95 and parking is available at any time. I always rave about their office to friends and family. The negative reviews reflect my recent experience. I've been very happy with Dr. T. However, as other reviewers have stated, Natasha at the front desk is absolutely rude. I have PPO insurance plan but she treats you like a lying criminal if they cannot verify your coverage. I'm glad I haven't committed to extensive work since she apparently lacks the competence in proper billing. She said they only submit a claim once and if it's not paid, you're out of luck and billed. Even if my insurance assured them payment over the phone. The last visit was an exam and cleaning. But no cleaning was performed! P.S.
