I haven't reviewed a restaurant in a while. I feel this should be told, the food was not clearly labeled. My co-worker took some food that was labeled garlic mashed potatoes. In fact it was crab meat with cheese. She is allergic to sea food. This was not clearly labeled. Which could cost her, her life. She made it known to staff they, clearly just said oh it wasn't made clear! No apology nothing just kept as nothing never happened. The staff needs to be trained ASAP!!!

Service was kind and food was cheap for a buffet. That's where the good stops though... Food was not good and mostly was not fresh at all. Some items were tasty but a vast majority was questionable to say the least. Would not come here again unfortunately. They also charge you in advance including tip, though how are we to tip prior to receiving service? The ambiance wasn't the best but I could have gotten past that had it been good food but this is not the case for Palacio Buffet.

One star is too much!!! This place is so expensive, I have a 7 yr old daughter who didn't even eat much and was charged adult price for her. Ridiculous. Not only was it expensive, the food was bad it looked old and dry as if it had been out all day. I spent $50 to not even eat one whole plate. HORRIBLE experience. BUT IT GETS WORSE... there was a fly in the jello see pic and video for reference. This place is disgusting do not go eat here unless you like nasty food. This place should be CLOSED PERMANENTLY. I felt nauseous leaving this dump.

The food is disgusting don't recommend this place even to my worse enemy, it's cold, old and greasy, don't go there, otherwise you will get sick as I am right now vomiting and with stomach aches, I came with my 10 years old son, but when I was eating the first plate my stomach started hurting so bad and wanted to puke, so I told my son to don't eat it anymore but he was eating his soup , not good at all. also in the screen tv say is $16.99 for dinner but it charge me $39.94 (for me and my 10years old child) please pick another place to eat than the palacio buffet..

Pot Stickers we're ok. Nothing great

El Palicio (The Palace) is a fitting name because after eating here, you may be sitting on El Trono (The Throne). I went on a Saturday and paid way too much for this garbage. The price included a soft drink. PRO (yes, just one): - The Hibachi was good (Just had chicken and shrimp), but there weren't really a lot of flavor choices. It was piping hot though. CONS: Nothing else was hot! Every single "hot" item I got from the buffet was warm to lukewarm at best. Some was actually cold (and I'm not talking about the ceviche) Service was lacking, and not for a shortage of servers. The Hibachi "Chef" seemed annoyed with me picking my ingredients, then after explaining what I wanted, he pointed to another guy then left the station and the other guy cooked my food. Empanadas were mostly empty, unless air is an ingredient. That plastic glove they give you when you pay at the beginning. Really? I've seen other places where you get a new glove each time. How is taking this thing off and putting it back on helping anything? -------- I love a good buffet (RIP Giant Panda), but this was everything that give buffets a bad name. Bon Jovi should write a song about it. I went to Ikea afterwards and ended up running to the bathroom (which isn't an easy thing to do in an Ikea) Would I go back? Yes, if I was constipated, but that's about it.

We explored the menu on an iPad with some really cool features, which made ordering fun and easy. The platters are definitely shareable and come with amazing sides like plantains, cilantro aioli sauce, and delicious Spanish style sides like tostones, rice and black beans. Everything was packed with flavor. The place is also decorated to the tee, very immersive and really sets the mood. Such an enjoyable visit overall and we will definitely be back.

Arrived to a nearly empty restaurant. Party of 3. 2 walked in and a 3rd on the way. Was sat at the worst table in the establishment (next to the double kitchen doors). Didn't want to start off by complaining so we just accepted it. We were provided two menus. Asked for a third and the waiter acknowledged the request but never brought it. Then he went into his speech on why we ought to order the shareable platters at a minimum of $140 for our party of 3 (though the menu suggests they feed 4-5). We listened politely. He then asked for our drink order and I order a fountain coke and my daughter ordered lemonade which is also on the fountain. Without asking any questions the waiter disappeared into the back and produced a glass of lemonade that we later learned was "fresh". And you guessed it...an upcharge. Then our server wanted to know if we knew what we wanted to eat yet. I reminded him we were a party of 3 waiting for our 3rd. He seemed frustrated by that. Our 3rd arrived and we ordered individual sandwiches to which our servers disappointed reaction was noticeable. One of us ordered an appetizer and the server asked if that was what she wanted for her meal because it's very small. She said that was all she wanted. Naturally the appetizer ordered as a meal came out right away and started getting cold. We also order 2 of their burgers which were genuinely excellent in execution. Attractive, tasted great. The only issue was that we specifically asked if the listed sauces came on the side. The server said they did. They certainly did not. Got to scrape that off. After the food was delivered we did not see our server again for almost the entire meal. We flagged down another server on 2 occasions for drink refills & later to pay our check. All the while we watched our server with other tables conversing, refilling drinks, etc. we were being punished for not being a lucrative enough opportunity. At the end the server did return and as I took a bite, asked me if I was still eating or if I was finished. This to me felt like an obvious "get out" move. Later I asked for the check. He instead went for the dessert sale. I declined. He printed it and left. Did not return. Had to flag the other server again to actually pay. I still tipped in case they pooled the tips. The others were all working hard. Not sure what this guys deal was. I will say we were the only folks that looked like us in the restaurant and left seriously wondering if that was the problem. When you combine the poor table location with the terrible service while giving good service to others, we are left with few alternative explanations. Edit: on reading multiple reviews it appears the service is just very poor regardless of what you look like. So retracting that.

There was pretty flowers on the side before you walk in and more right afterwards next to the host stand. We made a reservation but it was pretty dead and there were only a few other tables there all night. The music was super loud and it definitely gave more club vibes than restaurant vibes. We saw hookah and the servers were dressed in tight outfits more like bottle girls. We were given iPads for menus which did have fairly accurate pictures of the cocktails. The music was obnoxious at first and so loud we almost left but luckily the DJ ended up putting on some more mellow music and taking a break while we ate. Our server was often MIA and we saw most of the staff just sitting around talking to each other, we had to ask for water and wait awhile to pay our bill. When she did bring the bill, we were told there was a service charge that didn't count as tip and she stared at us to see what we selected for the tip. Fortunately, the food was the saving grace and came out quick and was presented well. We especially liked the calamari, empanadas, salmon, and brownie dessert. They came with a torch to melt the butter on the salmon which was good. We did not care for the bao at all and the chicken fettuccine lacked flavor. Unfortunately, we would not rush back any time soon.

For unbeatable pricing, the food we got as incredibly well-seasoned and well portioned. I recommend any of the ethnic dishes as my group tried about half of what was on display and they all tasted great. We ate two plates there and also took food to go. The oxtail was cooked exactly as it should be where the collagen is nice and chewy, with meat falling off the bone. All the meat we tried was moist and tender. For $4 you can get hefty empanadas and we tried and loved the chicken, beef and cheese filled ones. The tamale was also delicious. The food looked like it was made with wholesome ingredients and care. The cortadito was nice and strong - incredibly efficient for a small shot as we woke up after eating all that food. They serve a variety of drink flavors like guayabano and mamey. I got a mamey smoothie and enjoyed the creamy almost melon-like but novel flavor for me. For novelty, value, and delicious cultural cuisine, this place etched a core memory in that we paid more at whole foods and got more thrill from the flavorful experience at Papazzito Coffee Bar.

The restaurant itself had a modern, clean atmosphere, and the interior reminded me of some Asian restaurants I've visited in France. It felt bright, spacious, and inviting. The…read morerestaurant itself is spacious and has a nice atmosphere, and the staff was friendly, but the food quality and consistency were hit or miss. The sushi was one of the stronger parts of the buffet. The Volcano Roll and Las Vegas Roll were both highlights and had good flavor. The hibachi station is also a nice addition, but the setup raised some cross-contamination concerns. I noticed guests using the same tongs around the raw chicken and shrimp, and some people placed utensils or items that had touched raw chicken directly onto plates containing noodles and other ready-to-eat ingredients. A more controlled system with clearly separated utensils or staff assistance would make the station feel much safer. As for the buffet, the pepper chicken was very flavorful, and the potatoes with onions were another standout. The crab rangoons tasted great, but they were piled so heavily on top of one another that several became soggy instead of staying crisp. The dumplings were okay, the pork spring rolls were not especially memorable, and the vegetable spring rolls were better. The steak was good during my first trip through the buffet, but the next batch was overcooked and bland, which showed some inconsistency between refills. There were enough decent items to make the meal acceptable, but not enough standout dishes to make us excited to come back. With better temperature and texture control, more consistent batches, and stronger food-safety practices at the hibachi station, the experience could improve significantly.
