We were on this side of town and decided to revisit what used to be our favorite Korean restaurant. The seafood pancake was still just as delicious as we remembered--crispy, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. The stir-fried squid was extremely chewy and lacked the spicy kick we expected. The bulgogi arrived with a lot of watery liquid pooling at the bottom of the hot plate, which took away from the flavor and presentation. The banchan was also mediocre and nothing memorable. The more I love a place, the longer it takes for me to write a review. Seriously, we've been coming here for over 5 years now and I haven't written a review?? Words cannot describe how much I love Korea House. We come here on the regular and a good amount of my photo storage space is dedicated to pics I've taken here over time. We've mainly come here for the Soondubu because they're so generous with the tofu and it's always so comforting and delicious. But we've also gotten the Korean hot pot here, as well as the AYCE KBBQ. The KBBQ has some of the best meat quality in this side of town, but they don't have good ventilation, so the whole place (and you) can smell like KBBQ. Service is fantastic. At one point, we were going so regularly that the main auntie recognized us and would seat us at our spot. The other servers are also great in general and are very attentive. Sometimes there's a line out the door, but it's always worth it. They're closed Mondays, a travesty of which I've fallen victim many times; but they deserve the rest for serving such amazing food all the time. read more

Korea House has been a staple for me and my family. We probably eat here at least every 1-2 weeks. Their food always hits and the servers are always attentive. My go to order is their beef tofu soup. It's flavorful and very heartwarming. Plus, they have the best kimchi in Orlando. The restaurant can be full and busy especially dinner time but don't let that stop you from going. If you've never been here, I recommend their bulgogi, bibimbap, and pork tangsuyuk. We recently tried kkanpunggi and that one tasted so delicious as well. The spice was just right. First time trying Korean House and I already know I'll be back! I just moved here from California and have been on the hunt for my new go-to Korean BBQ spot since it's my favorite cuisine--and I've tried quite a few places already. This one easily beats them all. It's your typical all-you-can-eat setup, but the quality and flavor really stand out. They even have corn cheese (which a lot of places don't), and it was so flavorful. The Korean salad was super fresh, and our waitress, Haggie, was so friendly and made great recommendations. She suggested the beef butter bibimbap instead of plain white rice and OMG... so good. I can definitely see why it's popular. I also tried brisket with seasome oil and red bean paste, and everything was just chef's kiss. The atmosphere was another big plus--it was pretty quiet, which I really appreciated. A lot of places have neon lighting and loud music, and it can feel overwhelming, especially when you're trying to have a nice date night. This felt much more relaxed and enjoyable. For dessert, we tried their Korean ice cream and it was so delicious! Overall, this is officially my new go-to spot and I'd recommend it to anyone craving Korean BBQ. read more

We went as a big group, 6 adults, on a holiday weekend. As you can imagine, it was beyond busy - every table was taken, with two waiters running around doing their best. I love it here, have come three separate times during weekdays at around 1. Service is always spectacular, when you walk in theres a man at the host stand who seats you and a server will come up and take your order. They've periodically checked my table every 10-15 minutes which I found no problem with since i had a big group I was discussing menu options with. I've opted for the dinner menu the past times i've been here and the price ($18 ish dollars) is amazing for the soup portions that fed both me and my friend yet still gave me left overs. Pork is also pretty yummy here (according to my friend) and they give you six different sides + a bowl of rice with your food. They have a freezer full of ice cream that is great! I got the corn flavor and it's pretty good. I've seen the other reviews discussing the k-bbq and service not being attentive, but thats not been my experience when I've done the regular dining option. Korea House is my favorite go to restaurant for amazing Korean food. When I come here, I usually do a la cart, but today I went with the all you can option #2. I came here with a girlfriend of mine. It was her first time coming here so we figured why not go all out. The all you can eat comes with 5 types of unlimited meat-- bulgogi, chadolbagi, pork bulgogi, chicken bulgogi and samgyepsal that you cook on the tabletop grill and a plethora of appetizers and unlimited sides. We asked our waitress to bring all the meats at once because we were "hangry" but she advised us that she will bring a few at a time gradually to pace ourselves. Good thing she did because we were pretty stuffed. We didn't even make it half way through the appetizers and sides list. The meats were flavorful and so were the side dishes. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the fried seaweed roll. It was too fishy tasting that it didn't go together well with all the savory flavors we had just devoured. We only ate it because it was part of the all you can eat menu. Everything else on the menu was fantastic though! You get more bang for your buck with the all you can eat menu if you've got a taste to try different things when you're indecisive. Or if you're in the mood to eat your feelings. Like me and my friend. It was just one of those days. The a la cart menu is just as fabulous. Either option you choose, the food here is fantastic. One thing I will mention though is that they include the tip in the total of your bill. Just an FYI if you're on a budget. read more

We decided to go to a new K restaurant for us and found good reviews for the Korea House Rest. We were very impressed with John, our waiter, who was kind, informative and fun! I've been to Korea House a few times over the years for lunch or AYCE. It's not my go to spot, but it does have some positives and negatives. The standalone building has plenty of parking since it's located in the same area as retail shops. It's large enough for big parties and has plenty of booth seating. The ambiance is quaint but not anything fancy. They don't offer their lunch menus anymore. Also for the price point, I'd rather go to Shin Jung which offers better quality and ambiance. Service here is mediocre and hit or miss. Sometimes there's engaging servers, and sometimes I feel like they are more favorable toward American clientele. This time around I had a younger male server. He was pleasant enough but not attentive. We ordered the Chapchae appetizer, Seafood Soondubu, and Bibimbap in the hot stone pot. We were never asked for refills on banchan. I would have to say the Seafood Soondubu was well seasoned and so was the Chapchae. In fact, the Bibimbap was lackluster and you'd have to use a lot of Gochujang to give it flavor. Compared to other Korean restaurants around town, it's simply just okay. In past years it tasted well seasoned, so I've been disappointed when I did give it another try. Even the banchan side dishes were bland. I will say that the brown rice tea was a welcomed freebie with the meals. I don't dislike the restaurant. I want Korea House to thrive, and there are possibly redeeming dishes I didn't order. Yet, it still needs to have some improvements for me to want to return. It's not my first choice, but I can't say I wouldn't give it another try in the future if one of my friends asked me to meet there. read more

I got the tteokbokki which is by far one of my favorite out of the other Korean restaurants that I have ate from. I tried something recommended by the server which is the spicy garlic fried shrimp (seawoo kampoongi) and it was hot, spicy, sweet and crunchy.
