I prefer her office in Natick, Complete Pain Care, as its a bit more updated than Marlborough (I scheduled Marlborough out of convenience). The shots I get in my lumbar area from Dr. Pearl are relatively painless...a testament to her experience. On my last visit, I noticed a sign that said they take Discover, MC, Visa and AMEX. I gave the receptionist my AMEX and was told that they don't take it. I pointed to the sign and she apologized and said she was aware of it. I was in serious pain and was seen on the same day I made the call, that in itself is amazing. Upon arrival, the staff was professional and very concerned about my condition. They listened closely as I described my ailment and told me everything that they were doing. When Dr. Blake came in I was very nervous and she recognized my heighten state. She took her time examining me and throughout the process she remained very calm and explained what she was doing. She gave me her diagnosis along with a follow-up treatment plan. The staff then proceeded to take care of all the follow-up appointments needed, from booking my MRI to calling my PCP to get prior approval. That has never happened to me with any other Doctor's office. Usually I'm the one making all the calls. I wish I could give Boston Pain Specialist a perfect 10 but 5 is the highest on Yelp. I totally recommend them if you are looking for caring and professional people.

So far so good .I'm not in pain yay!!! I certainly would recommend him to any of my friends and family or to anyone suffering in pain I think if he can help you he will. I made an appointment. I confirmed " this is the appointment for the injection?" I was told " yes" When I was seen, I was told that they couldn't inject me unless they had x rays( I would have brought them if this had been explained) I offered to contact the ortho and have the results faxed. Oh no, I couldn't get an injection that day because they can't bill for an eval and an injection in the same day. Yeah, you read that as it was told me me, by Dr Pearl. I was able to get my Granite State medical records from the attorney general's office but no one knows what happened to the medical records that I had to submit prior to being accepted as a patient at Granite State. That is a major HIPPA violation losing a patient's medical records. I had to wait almost a year for them to review my records before accepting me as a patient. I hope the Attorney General's office nails them to the wall and pulls all their licenses as they were a bunch of sanctimonious jerks.
