Seems like a pretty standard Boston Pizza location. I was a bit surprised that the staff member serving our group never refilled my water glass, but I guess he did come around and asked if people needed glasses refilled but mine wasn't empty then. Came with my 6 year in old in time for the KidsCard event. For a $5 donation you get a card with 5 free kids meals on it. Kids meals are usually $6.99 so it's a great deal. You just have to purchase one regular meal each time. We had tasty pizza, cheese for him and spinach feta shrimp in mine. Friendly server and very clean and quiet room. Oddly hip alternative music though. I find BP a good standard for families with young kids. Can't go wrong with the kids card works out to a dollar per meal and they're valid till June 2019. read more

Have you ever been out to eat and were shocked that the place you ended up choosing was an actual restaurant? That's the vibe when you eat at this Boston Pizza. I used to eat at BPs 2 times a week years ago. Even then, I thought it was mediocre. This, today, was just completely unacceptable as an eating establishment! Long story short....There was lots of food on the floor right at our table. Pizza, chips, big enough bits that we could tell what the last customers ordered. THREE people served us at our table and NOT ONE noticed the revolting mess on the floor at out table. We finally called for the manager who apologized, gave some kind of excuse that I didn't even really understand (it wasn't the server's job or something?? They only focus on tables?) and she cleaned it up and comped an order of calamari for us. Now, the calamari was an add-on we ordered because our food was HORRIBLE. I don't use that word lightly. Salmon so dry I nearly choked getting it down, rubbery, tasteless frozen bagged veggies, badly cooked, "Mediterranean" salad that was mostly leaves and very tiny bits of other barely identifiable things. They used to have a chunky med salad with big chunks of feta, tomato, cucumbers, and onions. Not any more! Horrible meal. The only saving grace was that the manager was receptive to our concerns. read more

We decided to watch the UFC fights at the last minute this weekend (I only wanted to see the Ortiz/Griffin fight - the rest of the fight card didn't interest me). At 7:45 (they start at 8), we decided to go for all of them and ended up at the closest place to us at the time. Boston Pizza. I was immediately peeved after we walked in. We paid the $10 cover charge and then walked up to a booth only to find that we weren't allowed to sit there because there were only 2 of us. We paid to be there - let us sit where we want! They weren't even busy! Our server was good about refilling our drinks but seemed very unhappy and annoyed every time she did. The only reason I'm not giving them 1 star is because their chocolate brownie addiction was yummy! I wasn't impressed by the night (or the fights). I won't be going back to this Boston Pizza for food or fights. read more

Service was speedy and polite, I also appreciated the new renovations. A lighter coat of paint and some grayscale photos really brightened up the interior and gave the BP's a more modern feel. My wings and bandera bread were cooked great and arrived promptly. Our waitress was friendly but not so attentive as to interrupt conversation with questions every couple of minutes. We (2 people) ordered pork rib bites for appetizer, boston royal pizza individual size, and NY steak and veggie at first, but the portion was small and I had to add another main dish marinara linguini. We finished off with chocolate explosion which was big and very tasty. Overall the appetizer and the desert are very good but the three main dishes are little below average. The royal pizza has a lot of ingredients but they don't mix well (cook a bit longer may help). The steak is a little salty and hard. read more

I am a fan of Boston Pizza. I am disappointed with my current location, and have waited 3 years for it to improve. This is hit and miss, usual fare, and better if all you want is to have a beer and watch the game. Food??? \mr Treliving is making a living. I could not be happier for him. HA, hot. Food could be as great as always, but its not. Staff don't need my business because there will be someone else to replace me. Prices are first class, result is boston pizza. "Hit and miss", (mostly miss) [you done good jim, now go away] Going forward, your sauce is and always has been awesome. (Just like Boston pizza used to be) Its still just as good but missing from my pizza) Raise the price somore and give me some sauce. If I order a "loaded" pizza, make sure your staff know enough to give all the toppings a chance to heat up. I order your most expensive pizza and its raw, everytime. (My bad) read more

Service is terrible, the people here dont even care to check on customer questions, super lazy crew that are more worried about the kitchen gossip and snap then the customer experience, they gave me a big pizza when i ordered a small pizza, they also screwed up my salad order, lol, go to the local family spot next door, support local mom and pop shops if you can, besides its way better food, this place has that big chain taste read more

Boston Pizza is okay, nothing special about it but it's decent. I don't usually come here too often as it is pricey and the portions are not big enough for how much you pay. But on nights when I don't feel like cooking, and I don't want to go out, I'll order BP's delivery because there are more selections than just pizza. read more

I really don't know what to say, or how to say it. I can tell you I am severely disappointed and extremely upset. What would have been a memorable night was the exact opposite to no fault of my own or those who were going to join me for an evening at one of your locations! Saturday, November 4, 2017 I arrived at the Boston Pizza at 7641 Argyll Road NW in Edmonton, Alberta, right around 6:00pm. I planned to come at this time to go about securing a table for 8 people as tonight this Boston Pizza was showing UFC 217 (Return of Canadian Georges St. Pierre). Walking into the Sports Lounge / Bar I went to look for a table and saw them filled, which I could understand. A spot was available right by the cold entrance which was a booth, and another booth had no one sitting at it but was marked "reserved." I was confused as to how a table at Boston Pizza could be reserved especially on a night like tonight, and I went to inquire with a server as to why. When speaking to the server she said she did not know but that the manager had put the table as reserved, so I asked if I could speak with the manager. Zak, the manager of this location (whom I have seen there numerous times before) greeted me and I asked him why the table was reserved. He told me that it was because an older couple had requested it as it is a special night for them. I acknowledged to Zak how that is understandable, but that I had 7 people coming to watch the fight and we were all planning to order food and drinks and it seemed weird to have a booth reserved for two people. I thanked Zak for his time, and went to sit down at the empty booth by the cold entrance to wait for my friends to arrive. A blonde-haired female server greeted me at the table and asked how I was doing, where I replied with "not so good." That is all I said and figured that would be the end of it and she would ask me if I wanted a drink, however, she ripped right into me right away saying she did not appreciate my attitude and that she wants me to leave. I was shocked, and asked why I am being asked to leave. She responded that she does not serve customers with a bad attitude and does not want to put up with it for the rest of the night. Again I was shocked. I tried to assure her that it was just a general response which any customer might come in and say they are not having a good night, and hopefully the server might want to make the effort of changing that with good service. The blonde-haired female server insisted I leave and refused to serve me, so I asked to speak to the manager again. The server was very hesitant, but did eventually get the manager. Zak came to the booth where I told him I was being asked to leave by the server, which he sympathetically responded with acknowledging that she did not want to serve me that evening and it was her right. I looked around and saw a bartender as well as 3 other servers in the sports bar alone, plus Zak himself. Could not someone else serve me and my soon to arrive friends? After speaking with Zak, I was unable to get the name of the server, and he went and changed his story about the "reserved booth." It was not for an older couple as Zak would now tell me it is for his Kitchen staff. I told Zak that with all due respect shouldn't the customer come first before the staff? He had no response so with that I thanked him again and left the establishment. I had to let seven other people know that plans had changed, and wow were they just as bummed as I was. When outside of the BPs two people had come outside saying they saw and witnessed the whole thing, and decided to leave without paying for their meal because of how I was treated. They were not the only ones in the bar in shock of how I was treated by this server and management. I seriously thought Boston Pizza wanted people to come and spend their money at their establishments. On a night like a UFC night you think they would want to generate revenue. Most importantly, I really did think that Boston Pizza would be and was inviting to guests like me and would value me as a customer, and perhaps even appreciate me as a guest, and bringing seven others to Boston Pizza for an evening of fun. No fun at all... just humiliation! read more

Food was excellent as always. Had the new pizza burger and ceaser salad. Lounge was packed for two girls but our waitress made sure she made eye contact with me to let me know she was on the ball. Two thumbs up for that as it made the world of difference for us to wait. read more

I used to be a fan of this location. Mom and I would go here when she would come into town. Not so much anymore. One I ordered online for a perogy pizza, 20 minutes pass, 40 minutes pass, at 60 minutes I phone in to have the woman on the line say they just got the order and it will be out soon. I wait another 20 minutes and the thing finally gets here, no apology for an hour and a half pizza at all. I pay and take it in, still feeling rather peeved about spending so long waiting for a simple pizza. Open the box and what do you know, the thing was all raw dough. Bad organization (how do you miss an order for an hour?), bad service, bad pizza. Never going to bother again. read more
