They have $3.50 Tito's and tonic on the happy hour menu, which is an excellent deal. The food was also really good too. I had the wings and pizza and they both were very tasty. This review is only for corporate to see.... Your staff is amazing and absolutely zero of this is their fault. There are two SEPARATE areas of this restaurant yet corporate allows parents to sit at the bar with their kids. Was there with a friend, and if I didn't have food on the way we would've left. Kids screaming and running around the bar, abusing the pool table, and a child chastised me for using adult language in a BAR that the kid almost hit another person with a pool stick. The world is not childfree, but the bar side of the space should be. It is completely unacceptable that the *corporate* office makes their staff at location allow children in the bar. I am an adult and when I chose to sit at a bar I do NOT want screaming kids everywhere. You honestly think patrons want to spend money at your BAR side with ill behaved children??? Again, this is not bostons fault. The management and staff are so incredible and all deserve raises. This place is in my neighborhood, and while they do offer a meal deal, the menu makes it unnecessarily confusing to figure out. (Pro tip: it's on the last page, but even then, you get sent flipping back and forth to decode how things are prepared or what sauces come with what.) We stopped in around 3pm on a Tuesday, and the place was completely empty. Our server seemed uninspired, and honestly, I can't blame him. We split the spinach dip, which was way too loose, though it did appear to have actual fresh spinach. We also shared the chicken sandwich. Such an excellent waitstaff and bartender. Came here late at night about two hours before it closed. My bartender was attentive from the start, placing coasters as soon as we sat down. We ended up ordering right before close but our buffalo pizza came out quick. It's more of a high-end sports bar with all the accommodations you'll want if you were at home watching the game, like great food, a cozy atmosphere, and friendly people around. It was four of us in my group, and three of us were intrigued by how would the pizza burger come out, like would it be a hamburger with pepperoni on top of the meat? Nope, to our delight, it was an enclosed pizza bun with all the trimmings of a pizza inside, including the hamburger meat and lots of cheese, pepperoni, and more. We met some friends last night to watch football and have some drinks. The drinks were solid and the pizza was pretty good. They didn't have Ketel One vodka for my vodka soda so I had to have grey goose instead. No biggie. Our server was really nice and the atmosphere was fun. I've been into Boston's a couple of times in the past, but this was the first time I was getting food delivered. Decided to run the gamut and do an app, entree and dessert. What I got - 1. Buffalo Cauliflower - I was so looking forward to this because cauliflower is one of my favorite vegetables. I'm not necessarily a fan of buffalo sauce, but I know blue cheese and buffalo flavors are a perfect pairing so I thought why not. They also provided a side of blue cheese dip in addition to the crumbles on the dish itself which was awesome. What was instantly disappointing and off-putting was the soggy nature of the coating. Where it should have been crisp, it was not. Moreover there was excessive batter and the actual vegetable was completely overwhelmed. The sauce didn't help it go down easier. Score: 1/5 2. The MVB (Most Valuable Burger) - This was a behemoth of a burger. Thick patty topped with cheddar and mozzarella cheese, bacon, pickles, tomatoes, onions. The cheese was non-descript and I couldn't make out the distinct difference between the two, even though cheddar is the more sharper. The bacon provided nice texture and it was crisped to perfection. Overall a good bite and served with a huge heap of fries. Score: 3.5/5 3. Boston's Whiskey cake - The end of the meal was the best. This dessert is out of the park, so make sure you save room for this. This decadent dish comes with a sticky toffee cake topped with caramel, a whiskey butter sauce and chopped pecans. Oh and it comes with vanilla ice cream. Great contrast of texture. Some might find it too sweet, but I've got a sweet tooth and can tolerate the level. And leave it to me to have the best part of the meal left out of the photos (it was that good). Score: 5 all day every day. read more

Seems to me, that many of this type of chain restaurants prices have got (too) high, while the portions have gotten smaller... but maybe it's just me? As a comparison; Somehow Hillside has maintained great service, good portions at reasonable prices. I hesitate to say this Boston's service is not good, as Covid-19's affected most places... however, I been coming here for years and service has always been no better than a 3 out of 5. Portions have always been small compared to the prices. The food quality is good, but as covered earlier, (other than the potions of fries, which are large) they are not equal it the price. Burgers, pizza and fish (& chips) are all very good... if you are okay with their slow service, small portions at high prices. On a up note, though I am not a Bar Person, my friends who are, love their bar! My reason for coming back? I have a group of friends who like to come here. We were supposed to have a Hockey Team dinner here on a Saturday night. Our team manager called 11 days in advance and made reservations as she had done last year. We showed up and they were very confused. There was close to 50 of us. The building was empty. They refused to separate our checks and told us that it would be 3 checks. In 15 years of travel hockey in multiple states this was a first. Finally we said we'd go elsewhere and those of us that were fortunate enough to get drinks paid our bills and started leaving. This is when Chris the bald server lost his mind. Started cursing and calling names. Talking about white privilege and one of the other servers addressed one of our mom's as "white girl". Chris literally stepped up to 2 of our moms and had to be restrained by the other servers. We were Boston's fans. We loved the mushroom flatbread and often made the trip from Orange Park just for it. However, flatbreads are no longer on the menu and the pizza is not as good. The mushrooms for the flatbreads were marinated and flavorful. Now the mushrooms are tough, dry, and lack good flavor. The cheese was skimpy, the crust was dry. Basically, it was not worth the trip and we will not return. There are too many places out there with fantastic pizza. An altercation broke out between an Elderly man and another younger guy Tia point where the elderly man was bleeding from him heads. as the ambulance and fire department showed up. I watch Thomas yell at one of his servers for trying to help then man that was bleeding and after everything was settled due to the paramedics.
