Yes, they do serve pizza-by-the-slice at lunchtime for those that want a quick lunch, but they are much, much more. We were in the area and decided it's time for pizza. This has good rating on here so we decided to stop in. Thoroughly enjoyed my Wedge Salad. This is the first time I've had this salad drizzled with balsamic vinegar and it works. The sweetness and little acids of the balsamic vinegar compliments the blue cheese real well. We had an amazing lunch while in the area. I had the Frutti Di Mare with red sauce and a slice of pepperoni and jalapeño pizza. Nice looking place, surprisingly classy with a nicely stocked bar/wine area. Very clean interior and friendly service. I was a bit confused where to go at first because I missed the seat yourself sign. So I ended up ordering and paying at the counter first. I got the chicken parm lunch special for around $14. The chicken was thin but not too thin, breaded well so that when you cut off a bite, the breading doesn't fall off. It cuts easily with a fork and is juicy and delicious. It came with a side of angel hair pasta and a nice roll and some token veggies that included some tasty potatoes. The marinara was plentiful and didn't overpower. The angel hair melted in my mouth. This was a big plate for a lunch special but I ate every bite! While I was eating, neighboring tables received a beautiful Stromboli and a gigantic pizza. It all looked great. Phenomenal service! Our PTA had New York Pizza cater our appreciation lunch for the school faculty and staff. They quickly organized the order, the whole order took maybe 15 minutes. and they delivered so quickly. we were able to get it done less than 48 hrs before the event, and they delivered that and so much more. the food was so delicious! It has the feel of a small locally owned restaurant We started with The Fried Zucchini that came with Ranch and Marinara. It was perfectly fried. I am a fan of Wedge Salads so I had to try theirs. It was one of the best Wedge Salads I have had had in some time. For entrees, we had the Penne Arabiata. I asked for it extra spicy and they kicked it up a notch. My wife had the Shrimp and Mussels (Pasta Fra Diavlo). It was delicious. We also could not leave with out trying a slice of their Pizza Supreme. It was tasty on it's own merits. We finished with dessert including their Tiramisu and Spumoni Ice Cream. All of it was great. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. This is a hidden gem in Valley Ranch. Had a strong craving for cevapi, but we couldn't find a balkan place near Carrollton. Came here because we saw that cevapi was on the menu. Very surprised seeing it at an Italian restaurant, but thought we'd give it a try. The Cevapi was FIRE. The bread was yeasty, chewy, and toasty on the outside. The sausages were slightly charred on the grill marks and extremely flavorful. It was served with onions and ajvar. Absolutely delicious. When we were checking out the cashier informed us that the owner was from Montenegro, so it makes total sense that the cevapi would be this good! I will certainly be back! read more

One of my most favorite pizza places in the metroplex. This is my third visit and has been an absolute pleasure each time. Today, I had a slice of pepperoni, onion, and Canadian bacon. The slice was massive with a perfectly crispy crust. As has been my experience, it was delicious and flavorful. I added a salad with house dressing and a soft drink. A loaf of bread accompanied the meal. I wish I lived in their delivery area. Then again, I would probably regain all the weight I've lost over the past two years. Hmmm...I wasn't sure what kind of quality this place would be, but it was close to home, so I ordered via phone for my husband to pick up. It sure sounded loud on that phone - so guessing they were swamped. Our order was ready 20 mins later right on schedule. We got a sausage and cheese calzone and a greek salad. The calzone was HUGE, we got 3 meals out of it, and loaded with cheesy goodness, the sausage could have been better - it was that tiny crumble kind that the place buys in bulk frozen (think Dominos sausage). If you want to have a good time definitely check this place out Saturday Sunday evening. We were not even planning to eat anything but then seeing the open kitchen and all the food passing by , we decided to give it a try and it didn't disappoint. Just visiting the area for work and decided to give this a try. Glad I did, was really good, both the pasta I had and the pizza was delicious. I went with something a little different and got the Spicy Buffalo Ranch sauce as the pizza base and it really hit. Only negative was that the Baked Ziti w/ Meatballs only came with two little meatballs which sucked because the pasta was great and the two meatballs were very good.
