This pizza is similar to the pizza you might find in a mall food court, relatively thin crust, covered in cheese, a bit of grease to it. We ordered a small added pepperoni to it for $15.50. The portion size was decent for a small and was split between two people as a meal. Ordering online was an easy and quick process! Asked for a size of ranch and it was a good size, obviously homemade. We enjoyed it! The interior was nice inside, good atmosphere. I'm a bit of a pizza snob and usually only give a good review on pizza that is very obviously artisan, wood fired, and unique. ALTHOUGH, I enjoyed this one! I was too hungry and didn't get a good photo of it. read more

I had my lunch delivered to work via Foodsby yesterday and I was so highly disappointed with all of it. I ordered the penne pasta with meatballs. The pasta was not penne. It looked like macaroni noodles from boxed Mac and cheese. It has very little marinara sauce on top- almost like they didn't care, we're rushing and just threw something together. It had more cheese than it had sauce. The meatballs almost made me sick. It didn't taste or look like ground beef. It looked like some frozen garbage. I threw it away wasted $15, which I would like back. Horrible. I ordered from Di Leo Pizza but it's actually Vito's? Also a bit of a turn off. Never again read more

Great food and friendly service. The calzone is definitely TEXAS sized. We all enjoyed our dishes Chicken Alfredo Chicken primavera Calzone Pepperoni pizza Caesar salad Also like how they decorated. And the restrooms were fairly clean. read more

Ordered for a team lunch. Ordered salad with no meat it had meat on it. Ordered pasta with sauce on the side and sauce was on it. Sauces were not packaged well spilled all over bags Called to share my concern. The person answered my call was apologetic but did not offer to fix my concerns. Soooo I'm hungry as hell and I go to Vitos to grab a quick couple slices of pizza..been here many times "but today though " so I go in make my order all good till I turn around.. freaking guy's loading my supreme slices with his bare hands...then I notice every other cook's got on the blue gloves.. so I say hey man you just gonna prepare my dood with no protection please put in some gloves dude.. this guys face turned purple and says O the heat of the oven will eliminate ANY GERMS!! I'm like "THE FUGG YOU MEAN"!! So another guy stepped in and redid my pizza but he also had a pissy attitude So I'm trying to be a good BLACK dude O then the guy that didn't have his gloves on storm's off to the back of the kitchen somewhere.. I'm on the phone with my wife who's like????? Pizzas ready in 3 min...I grabbed my shii and bounce.. get to my destination hungry as hell open my pizza box to cold pizza and my toppings are all over inside the box .. cheese not melted or nothing.. I stopped in here on a whim for lunch. I just happened to see it as I was driving back toward Grand Prairie. Are they allowing dine in? Yes! And they have waiter service. I loved the red and white checked table cloths and how pretty the Italian themed paintings are on the walls. Do they sell pizza by the slice? Yes and I appreciate them for it. My slice of thin crust pepperoni was just what I was craving. Do they have sweetened ice tea? Yes! I was surprised and pleased. Everyone at the front counter was super friendly which is always a plus. If I'm in the area again I would like to pop in again to try the lobster ravioli. I definitely recommend Vito's. First time here. Working in Dallas for the week. This is one of the few places near me that was opened at night. Order the chicken Parmesan. Comes with salad and bread. I am getting it to go. I have been driving past their location on Esters Rd in Irving, Texas for awhile. Their was a brick interior with several Italian style pictures on the wall. Due to COVID-19, I made my order carry-out. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo which came with breadsticks and salad. The manager was talking with a health inspector. O, Wowza! I highly suggest Vito's! Through this area for work occasionally. Always looking for something different. Today it was Italian. And we found a little gem! The store front isn't the snazziest, but as soon as we started talking to the waiter about suggestions, we knew we were in for a treat. My husband wanted a recommendation between Alfredo chicken pizza or shrimp Alfredo. The way the waiter described them was enough for him to order both! When his food came, he was all pie-eyed, to say the least. He ordered the small pizza. When they sat the pie down all he kept say is, "That's a small?... That can't be the small pizza??!!" Well, it was a mighty big, small pizza. And over an inch thick with toppings. He said it tasted even better than it looked. His shrimp fettuccini Alfredo was just as amazing. It came with 5 large prawns. He loved it! I ordered the meatball parmigiana with spaghetti. It was absolutely amazing and I couldn't even eat a third of the meatballs. Wanted to try Vito's Pizza. Ordered online. Went to pick it up. All the meat on my meat lovers was missing, cheese was barely melted, crust wasn't even brown. Told the shady counter girl that I ordered meat lovers. She took it back in the kitchen...said come back in like 5 minutes ...came back in 8 minutes and she hands me the same pizza with meat lover toppings and cheese just thrown on, and the shit was cold and raw, cheese unmelted. Not even hot... WTF, Vito? I told her the ingredients were still cold. She said I'll have them put it back in the oven ...by this time I've waited almost 45 minutes for a 3 time mistake. I told her just refund my money, and she said do it through the app! You can't make your own refunds after ordering a pizza dumba$$. Who hired the staff? I requested a manager a third time while she was insisting throwing my pizza in the oven a third time was gonna make it all better. I said, no please get the manager and refund my card and give me a refund receipt. She didn't care much and was poorly trained. Kitchen cook should've known better than to serve twice or thrice baked mistakes. I finally got my refund receipt and left. I wanted to try this place but order pickup is unprofessional and uneducated. Consumers don't issue their own refunds, Sherlock. You have to do it. Otherwise people would be ripping you off by refunding payments after food is eaten. That's theft, that's why your business can't allow customers to refund themselves there genius. read more

This is the lowest score I can give. I truly hate giving this kind of review but it is needed. I am on lunch break. I come in and place my order and sit down. The tea is bitter. Others come in after me. I start seeing people get there food that came in wsy after me. I got up after 30 minutes of waiting and asked why it has been 30 minutes? They said here's you food. I never got my salad, never got my bread. Here is what's painful. Anyone that came in that was Hispanic got there food right away no matter what it was and they got waited on got refills etc. Not once did I get approached until I was leaving. I will not be back. I don't do this to others and will not have them do it to me! read more

I can't recommended this little Italian place enough !!! Their "small" pizza is bigger than most places' large. But, I don't come for the pizza, my go to order is the chicken parmesan. The chicken is cooked to it's juicy perfection, and the pasta is wonderful. Plus, there's always enough for lunch tomorrow. You can't go wrong with them. read more

This place was amazing, a gem in Irving. They accommodated a large group for a school banquet. The food portions were much larger than I expected. I heard no complaints from anyone on the food. Service was outstanding, allowing us to do our banquet, speak and give out awards while timing the food and letting things flow. Highly recommend! read more

This place is amazing and even though I have only been once I would gladly keep going. The environment is great the staff was friendly and the food was amazing. I had the Chicken Cacciatore and I was barely able to finish it. I was left full and satisfied would strongly recommend eating here as I know I will keep on coming back. read more

MASSIVE pizza when you order a Large.. my friend and I didn't listen when our waiter told us he and his friends eat a small size.. let me just tell you we challenged ourselves to finish the giant thing and I seriously could not move after we finished. Very delicious, though! And good for its value, especially if you are sharing a pizza. So apparently Vitos doesn't make sure that there bag is secured. When I got my food from the door dasher my food was all over the place. When I was about to come up there and ask them to make another one they wouldn't do so. I'm disappointed in them because I've been ordering from them since 2012 and not once has there food ever looked messy. If I had a problem they would fix it but this location didn't do so $20 wasted!!! read more

The food tastes just like authentic Italian, portions are huge and the price is unbelievably low comparatively. As crazy as I thought it would be, my brother and his now wife, had their wedding reception here back in May which was held after hours. When they first told me the location, I was pessimistic and was worried but the ambience was perfect. The staff were all in great spirits and super friendly. To top it off, this little hidden gem is around the corner from my office. Will definitely be returning and have even recommended for office luncheons. Always a great experience!! read more

I stopped in to try the pizza. I saw they had lobster ravioli. One of my favorites. They did not disappoint! Amazing flavor. More food than I can eat for sure, so now I have some for dinner, too. It came with a salad and a roll. Dinner roll had a great flavor and was warm but not too hot. The salad could have more veggies on it and less lettuce and I would be even more excited, but the lettuce was crisp and the dressing had a great flavor as well. read more

I must say I loved their pizza when my co-worker went and purchased. I goes in today to get a pizza only to see every employee it's in the kitchen moving around touching everything with no gloves on trash cans and all so I order a pizza and only to see the cook left the register well then went straight to grab the dough out of the metal thing it's stored in and just started mashing it with his bare hands made me sick to my stomach this is so unsanitary..... especially with everything going on right now read more

We were here tonight for dinner. Our server was very nice and accommodating. The pizzas are huge! And the crust is delicious. I got baked ziti and it came with a salad (I got the house dressing - tomato vinaigrette). The salad dressing was good and tangy. The ziti was mediocre. The roof was leaking and there was a large wet area with a Wet Floor teepee. Overall, this place is just okay. read more

Love this pizza! This is about as close to NY thin crust as I've had since living in TX. I ordered the X Large to take home and this thing was huge. Each slice was as big as my head with perfectly melted cheese, a great ratio of toppings and a wonderful, sweet pizza sauce. Sorry Domino's, I just lost your phone number because this is my new go to pizza place. The restaurant itself was nice. When you go in, you walk through a buffet style line where you can order by the slice or a whole pie or some of the other food's they offer (can't wait to try some of the other stuff on the menu!). I got there at about 11:15 and it looked like the substantial lunch crowd started showing up at about 11:30 and the line started building up pretty quickly but with most people ordering slices the line seemed to move pretty fast. A neighborhood gem. Hubby and I both had pasta dishes. They were very tasty and included salad and a very large piece of garlic bread/roll. Service was super nice and efficient. And it's BYOB which is a big plus in our household. The atmosphere is really cozy and warm. Nice mural on the walls. We can't wait to go back. read more

My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Monaco is one of the prettiest restaurants in all of DFW. Dark wood and dark blue seating invite you in. The bar is stunning, with back lighting highlighting their drinks. There's also an outdoor seating area, including a wind shield - perfect when the weather is nice. This is a great spot for a weekend date night if you want something outside of Dallas. 1 Star. Service - Everyone was very nice. We were never rushed, all dishes could be customized to order, and I never had to ask for a refill. Nothing but good people here. 1 Star. Food - Let me start by saying presentation matters, and the dishes at Monaco are great for your Instagram or Yelp feed. I started with the roasted oysters. I chose it because the description said the oysters are "topped with bone marrow butter". That, combined with the roasted breadcrumbs, added a nice crunchy and smooth texture to the delicious oysters. For my main, I went with the Salmon St. Harve. This beautiful dish had a perfectly prepared salmon. Soft and flaky, but with a crunch from the skin at the bottom. It was served on top of grilled asparagus and topped with a cream sauce that brought everything together. Delicious. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. It's not a secret that I love Water Street. This is an awesome area in the heart of DFW, and I'm so happy there is an upscale restaurant like Monaco that has amazing food. 1 Star.

We also ordered the burrata salad (5/5), which was a very generous portion and absolutely delicious. I would definitely order it again. For our entrées, my friend and I shared the chicken piccata and the bolognese. The chicken piccata was a 5/5 for me, while the bolognese was a 4.5/5. Both dishes were excellent and I'd happily order either again. This visit was a completely different experience from my first one, and I'm glad I came back. I'd love to return with my husband sometime.

Under federal law, a business should not charge a service fee to a debit card because it should be treated as cash! So, we paid cash but unable to leave a good tip because we did not have enough cash and were usually amazing tippers for great service. I hope they know that they are breaking federal law and change this soon because it is a great place.

A young gentleman came around asking if we'd like oil and balsamic without out saying it was for the bread that would be served. I had to ask him if we're getting bread to which he replied yes. We sat with our drinks waiting a long time for the bread which I had to mention to the waiter - AND FINALLY it arrived. It was delicious bread as we're the meatballs - which were unfortunately luke warm. (I wanted to tell them but I try not to be 'that guy' so we ate them before the cooled down any more.) Our caesar salads arrived soon after and I can say they were not remarkable - just another caesar salad that will quickly fade in my memory as 'okay'. I'm not a foodie by any means but do enjoy good food when I can and truly believe that the service can make or break even the best meal - and I have heard so much about John Tesar so I was definitely expecting more that just 'okay'. My filet and my friend's skirt steak finally arrived after a prolonged wait - one of the servers again came to the table with fish plates that weren't ours. (Earlier he also brought 2 burrata plates prior to our salads which makes me think our waiter messed up as we had to wait a while after that to get the 2 Caesars in front of us.) The steaks, peppercorn sauce, asparagus and pureed potatoes were delicious. I like my steak well done and it was cooked perfectly and yet so easy to chew. So the main course was a success but it's hard to overlook the service - especially when we could see/hear a female waiter taking care of an older couple nearby with great care and enthusiastic attention. A party of 4 got seated before we left and again she was quite good relative to our experience. I'm not trying to say it was our waiter (and hostess) as I believe a restaurant is only as good as everyone - from the hostess, bus boy, wait staff, bartender, chef, etc. I had high expectations as I stated earlier since this was a John Tesar restaurant but I know that the one at the Beeman near SMU in Dallas closed and heard from acquaintances that the food and service had been going downhill there. Take this all for what it's worth but if you have a reputation/brand you need to constantly deliver on it. And if you're inside a Ritz-Carlton property - you better be the frickin' best around!
