I'm so impressed with the owners, managers, and staff, because they read my last review and responded, promptly, in putting up a new sign on W. Third, which says that they also sell produce!!! They even put up a new sign about the produce on the building, so that customers see it as they park! That reflects that they truly care about their customers and the good products that they're selling! I meant to thank the staff, when checking out but was in a hurry and forgot. Next time, I will! I also wanted to post that, here and say that the quality and freshness of all the fruits and vegetables I've gotten here have been over-the-top at reasonable prices! They even had Franco-American French bread in the afternoon, which was a bonus! I usually bake my own bread but sometimes I don't have time, so this is a great option. I love that I'm supporting local farmers. Thank you so much, Imwalle and I'm grateful to my friend who told me about this great place before the sign was up! read more

Imwalle's is conveniently located yet feels like you journeyed miles into the country to a little farm vegetable stand. The produce and fruit are fresh appearing as if handpicked that day. The pricing is the lowest we've seen in the Bay Area including vs the outstanding Monterey Market in Berkeley. And the quality is very high. One example (5-23-25) we purchased large ripe strawberries in a large container for $2.50! A container this large normally runs $5.99 or $6.99. Same can be found with lettuce and other vegetables we bought that day. The only thing missing was a coffee stand. The people were nice as well as helpful. Great spot! read more

Love this place. Freshest produce, best prices, nicest people. My only issue is the jam. The label says "made especially for imwalle gardens." I bought the Peach-A-cot. ingredients: sugar, peaches, corn syrup apricots..." So basically the same as commercial jam, definitely not homemade. read more

Just went to this place and bought plants for my garden with ebt. Everyone was so nice and it smelled wonderful. The plants were inexpensive I got vegetables it was $4.28 for a six pack of plants. I got lettuce and tomatoes in a six pack. I bought individual plants pickling cucumber, cucumber, habaneros and squash for $1.99. Most of the individual plants had more than one plant. read more

My friend and I stocked up with fresh vegetables (very delicious roasted that night), and I purchased some dried fruit and nuts that are delicious. Imwalle gardens is my favorite place to shop for fresh produce in Santa Rosa. They grow many fruits and vegetables on site so you can buy things seasonally fresh from the gardens. The prices are unbeatable compared to any weekend farmers market, and the quality is equal if not better. In the spring you can buy veggie starts and even some indoor plants. In the fall they have pumpkins and piles of corn. There is a small market with beans, tortillas, dried fruit and a few grocery items like milk, eggs, bread and local jams and vinegars. Outside there is gardening and potting soil for sale. I like to walk in, make a left, and shop first in the "Imwalle grown" boxes. Then I go to the organic section of the store. If you want to get all your shopping done in one place you can buy some produce that's shipped in from other areas. These are mostly behind the cashier. Many of the same people have been working there since is started visiting about 4 years ago. Thank you Imwalle for providing the community with gorgeous produce and a friendly market. read more

Imwalle Gardens deserves a 4 or 5 star review very often. Tonight I enjoyed the best tasting spaghetti squash I ever had in my life. No exaggeration. Imwalle grown spaghetti squash at a real good price. Get your figs and walnuts before they are gone til next year. Maybe walnuts may be around a bit longer. What is very special about purchasing vegetables here is that a good majority of the purchasing is geared to seasonal availability. We love the idea that the Imwalle family has persisted in growing vegetables on their acres for decades. Support our local farmers. read more

My go-to local plant nursery. It's right down the street from my home so I love the location. Great selection of starter plants! When they are fully stocked it's like candy shopping for adults, so many choices and healthy quality. I bought and planted one of each tomato plant last year and they all produced a good- great amount, the Hillbilly was exceptionally happy! They also carry delicous fruits, veggies and preserves along with a variety of other yummy jars. I just love this tiny nursery, I always leave with a cart full of something new. read more
