While recently visiting this establishment for the first time, the overwhelming smell of pot from certain customers was very offensive. Dirty bathrooms. Not welcoming atmosphere. Bartender was not friendly as well as back up. I ve never experienced a low maintenance, small town place as unfriendly as this one. I would never recommend this off the path place. A hip little neighborhood bar for downtown Butler! Although, I understand Butler PD is notorious for pulling over bar goers to run sobriety checks. Be sure to Uber or cab it if you decide to get tore up. Great atmosphere with an updated interior. The scenery ( female staff ) behind the bar is easy on the eyes, bartenders seem to really enjoy working here. The jukebox played an awesome selection of classic rock all night long & multiple TV's offered up extra visual stimulation. A dart board & video games can be found in the upper seating area. Bartender Heather was average at best all night. Then she gave my lady friend an attitude when I was closing my tab. I my friend told me not to tip her which I would never really do but I did. But, I am glad I did as it was the right thing after Heather the bartender came back and told me if I am not going to tip then never come back to her bar. Heather you are not just entitled to a tip. I stopped by with a group from work and couldn't believe this place! It was a mix of ages which I always like, from college kids to construction workers. The music was bumping, and the female bartender had on a motorcycle chaps and some tiny little shorts under them. Every time the played the Shots song, she got on the bar and poured shots into the mouths of thirsty patrons. If you could imagine how hot she was behind the bar, you should have seen her up on it.....nice. At one point an attractive women at the bar got up and danced on it too. Too much fun! read more

I frequent this bar quite a bit...the atmosphere is always fun and have met quite a few great people there that I have even now become friends with! It's an awesome neighborhood bar with a good mix of ages and personalities. The decor inside is awesome and once you walk in, you feel like you are in a high end bar in the middle of a major city! It's a great place to watch a game, meet friends, play some Golden Tee, and even just to have a drink and wind down from the wrok day. I would highly recommend checking it out! read more

This place is the nicest bar in Butler, but it is also in comparison to some of its competing watering holes. You would think it a supposed oxymoron when putting together the words "nicest" and "Butler." Do not sell short this little "blink and you miss it" town. Bottoms Up may have a lot more "sausage" than sparkle, but it has a renovated interior that surpasses--in terms of taste--many of the bars I have patronized in metro Milwaukee. The Happy Hour specials are very reasonable (2 domestic beers for $4), and the frozen boneless wings come out surprisingly crispy and taste of actual chicken. The wings were a whopping $3 with the 1/2 price appetizer special. In fact, all of their apps are 1/2 off until 6pm. They have other menu items like pizza and burgers, but that will have to wait for another after-work social visit. For the male patrons, the bartenders are scantily clad in namesake workwear (cropped and tied "Bottoms Up" jerseys and daisy dukes). It is a far cry from the pomp and circumstance of places like Coyote Ugly, but it does not need it. Here, everyone gets what they want: guys-eye candy and cheap drinks; girls-the cheapest night of drinking you will ever experience (see: men purchasing beverages for you for have the cojones to walk in the joint), Not a bad deal for anyone. read more

We stumbled upon this great bar in Butler,which is conveniently located between Milwaukee and the surrounding suburbs! We loved the homemade pizza and the reasonably priced beverages! The updated and revamped interior is great, the drink specials are good, but on a mellow Tuesday night you would expect bartenders to be more attentive and looking to keep customers buying. The bartenders were awful with very poor customer service and attitudes. The place wasn't even packed and the woman was too busy checking her phone and texting to pay attention to customers who needed drinks and the guy was too busy talking with buddies who were at the bar to pay attention to several other customers wanting drinks. The guy was too worried about his image to fill mixed drinks like captain and coke because his buddies were ragging on him about it and he had the female bartender do it instead. We ordered a pizza and 15-20 min. later when we asked if it was going to be ready soon the bartender said we never even ordered one. Then she said they had just put a pizza in for two other people and it would be 15-20 more minutes until we could even get ours in to order. She stated that we had not ordered a pizza with her with a bit of attitude. Even though the whole group knew we had ordered one.
