We kicked things off with bruschetta and goat cheese crostinis--fresh, flavorful, and a perfect start. The wings? Flat-out phenomenal. For mains, we split the Tiger Burger and the Cajun crispy chicken sandwich--both were excellent. Sindy was all about the fries, and I'll take those house chips all day. This place has been consistently great for years. The food is always solid, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and I honestly can't remember ever having a bad experience here. My friend celebrated her 5 year cancerversary here (stomach cancer stage 4).She and her husband know the amazing owners. They went all out for them. If I could give 10 stars, I would. This restaurant has great space first of all. It's a sports bar, so it's loud and there are tons of TVs. (Side note I bet it wasn't that loud when the Bears beat them so deliciously - Go Bears!) I was impressed with the amount of seating and that they were to accommodate a party of about 40 people with kids. It was a comfortable space to sit / roam around. We enjoyed: Appetizers : cheese curds , chicken tenders , Reuben rolls , salad Main : a taco bar (shredded chicken , ground beef) with flour tortillas , pico, sour cream and guac. Rice and beans too. Dessert : chocolate chip cookies Everything was delicious but the biggest hits I think were the Reuben rolls and the cookies. I loved the taco bar and was pleasantly surprised by the little kick in the pico. The service was incredible. They were friendly , welcoming, always keeping up with us, looking after us. The bartenders were fast and made great drinks. We all enjoyed a raspberry tart at the end to toast Our Queen. Whether you are here for lunch , dinner , happy hour , end of day drinks , or a lonesome meal at the bar watching the Packers lose (kidding - I know you win sometimes, too) - you will be well taken care of and you'll get a good meal out of it. I was on the fence about going to the Social Haus for a late lunch /early dinner but am so glad we ended up here. The service was friendly and food came out hot & fast but most importantly for me this day was how GOOD my food tasted! I ordered a buffalo chicken flatbread and it was probably one of the best flatbreads I've ever had. I was craving some buffalo chicken so this definitely hit the spot and then some because it also had the perfect amount of hot sauce, melty blue cheese (not just dressing on the side), chunks of chicken, scallions and carrots too. The flavor combination well exceeded my expectations, so much so that I'd order this the next time I'm out this way. It did appear to be a special so hopefully it becomes more of a regular item on the menu! The bar itself was nicely decorated for the Halloween season but was a bright space with large garage doors and a long fireplace near the front of the room. Lots to look at with TV screens in every direction but also daily /monthly specials advertised on various screens. There seemed to be something for everyone here. Lots of fun and family friendly too. We decided to give this place a 2nd try. A few years ago when we went in for a drink we sat at the bar which was not busy and it was like we were invisible. Regulars got special attention. Tonight we stood in front of the sign that says please wait to be seated. A customer pointed out that the hostess was in the other room. We sat down and waited about 10 minutes...no waitress. Finally flagged down an employee and asked if we had a waitress. She came to our table about 5 minutes later. Ordered drinks. Wanted the blue gill. They didnt have it but was on the menu. Ordered perch and potato pancakes. She told me the applesauce is an additional .50 charge. I said its in the description. She said honey, I dont make the rules. Got our food and i had French fries but I didnt notice it until I looked at the applesauce. The perch was awful. Tasted like a day old. Will never return. read more

This is a great place to go watch a Packer game! Lots of yummy food choices and a full liquor bar. We went on a Sunday afternoon; and believe it or not, it was full but not overcrowded. Most of the patrons were Packer fans and it was definitely a fun atmosphere. They give away shots whenever the Packers score, and they give raffle tickets out whenever you buy a drink; then draw prizes between quarters. We were a group of 4 and we ordered lots of food and drinks! I had the grilled cheese sandwich which was made with several different cheeses and bacon. It was gooey and delicious! The homemade chips were awesome as well! My husband had the curd burger and he said the same thing.....messy but very good. Our friends thought the wings were just ok; but the Philly cheesesteak was excellent. All portions were pretty big, and prices were reasonable. The servers were very attentive and came by often to see if we needed refills or anything....plus they brought by 4 rounds of free green shots. We also tried pull-tabs for the first time. Went with some friends for a Friday fish fry. My friend got there ahead of time so I don't really know how long she was waiting for a table for us. Drinks were good, decent amount of beer choices. I had the cod fry and thought it was great! Love how it came with carrots in addition to the regular fish fry sides(coleslaw and fries/potato pancakes). What a treat of a place! The staff was amazingly kind and welcoming for a team dinner on trivia night. Social Haus is my go-to neighborhood bar. I visit often - very good and reliable bar food. The cheddar melt is my favorite, but I haven't tried anything that wasn't great. Plenty of TVs, great for any sporting event and the service is always top-notch, Marte usually serves us lunch on Fridays. Attentive staff that want you to have a great time. You don't see Rumaki very often on a menu,but it was here(and very tasty) among other things as well.Good selection of burgers and a lot of other sandwich options and appetizers.I had the Cheddar Melt(their version of a patty melt),and it was cooked to order and came with homemade chips,cottage cheese or pasta salad.I opted for Onion Rings ($2 extra) and so worth it.They were some of the best I've had. Stopped here to meet friends for a drink. I liked the ambiance of the place, lots of tables and two separate bar areas. They have a nice fireplace and patio too! We tried a few appetizers: -Cheese curds, comes with ranch: the ranch is good! It didn't taste like it came from a bottle. The curds are interesting. They look like deep fried tofu cubes, and although they tasted good, I found most of it was breading. At first I thought it was a mix of white and yellow cheddar but the white was undercooked batter. I probably wouldn't order them again. -Fried Green Beans, comes with ranch: These were very good! The batter has a slight kick but not overly spicy. I recommend them and would order again. -Salsa and Chips: I only tried the chips which were good and tasted freshly made. A small portion of salsa is included. They have a good menu so I'll be back to try the fish fry and other items. Our server was friendly and the bathrooms were clean. Overall, a nice place to grab some food or drinks! read more

The place is larger than what you think. Outside appearance is deceiving. Went during colder months so I'd like to go back when warmer and doors are open. Food was good. We didn't do much except appetizers so I can't comment on lunch/dinner items. Server was attentive and always checking on us. I wish we could have gotten a round of free drinks considering the amount of money our party of 6 spent on drinks and food. Servers/owners should always be cognizant of giving a little back when it comes to parties spending long periods of time and money at an establishment.
