Just big disappointment ! I don't like how they treat there staff. Food was very meh ! It's not a great place to go and very expensive ! New owners and they are kicking out the old staff to family members in. ! It just changes the place completely ! Very sad ! Ambiance !

I enjoyed my experience at Bottoms Up. I love the wings, sweet and spicy. We ordered the infamous Pizza. Crunchy crust and plentiful toppings. I always enjoy my food here.

The Maggie Malay is incredibly good! Lots of cheese with tomatoes, spinach and artichoke hearts.

We took some out of town guests to Bottoms Up because it's within walking distance of our home. We all had a great time. The pizzas were wonderful! They're somewhat like a deep dish pizza but in my opinion they're much better. The crust was cooked perfectly and they aren't skimpy on their toppings. Our server was very friendly and engaging. He kept us very comfortable without being overly attentive. The restaurant itself is very laid back and casual. It was very crowded that night but we still got seated pretty fast and our food was served in a reasonable timeframe. Noise level was slightly high but nothing horrible and it was to be expected given the size of the crowd. All in all we had a great time and actually ended up going back just a few days later.

My husband has been looking for "good" pizza for a while now. He searched online and found Bottoms Up, ranked highest in Richmond. BU did not disappoint- sourdough crust is crisp, fluffy and tender, sauce is not too sweet but savory, toppings and cheese were ample. Cool vibe and excellent service. We will be back and being friends!

Pizza was really good. They have two floors of seating and it's very spacious. They can accommodate large groups. I was in a party of around 20 and we sat comfortably. Waitress was friendly and personable--had a positive experience and would go again.

We decided to check out Bottoms up for lunch one day and were pleasantly surprised. They had a lunch special: a slice of cheese pizza is only 5 bucks!!! One slice of pizza can easily be shared by two people. We joked about the slices being bigger than our face. This is definitely a great place to try if you love pizza and have an appetite. The crust here is pretty good. I really enjoyed the googynesss of the cheese. And the garlicky flavor profile of the pizza. The pizza needed more sauce. The pizza to sauce ratio was off leaving the pizza to taste a little dry.

The mold was growing from the surface of the cheesecake, it wasn't growing on a plastic before the food was put in the container. I appreciate your attempt at deflecting but it is what it is. I bumped up to 2 stars for not ignoring my concern. Thank you. I believe that customers should receive "star treatment". What does this mean? It means: If a famous celebrity were to walk into a business they would receive star treatment, ie; they will never have a bad first experience. This should extend to everyone, all of the time. If a business cannot offer this without exception, they should revisit their strategy. There will be times when a customer cannot simply walk back inside or take the time to make phone calls or send emails over a $10 item. Due to this principle, it is often difficult to remedy or change an opinion after the fact, because the opinion is of the first impression and not of the ability to fix problems that could have been avoided. In an era where food costs have sky rocketed, the commitment to service must acclimate accordingly.

One of my favorite spots in the heart of the city. Great food and amazing views. Grab a group of friends and enjoy the patio or walk in for lunch. they always have amazing daily specials and a staff ready to service. The nachos are humongous and my personal favorite in town, love is in the chili.

Best pizza in RVA! This pizza checks all the right boxes. Crisp crust and undercarriage with a pillowy soft dough. The sauce is bright with bits of basil throughout. The meats are seasoned and plentiful and the veggies are so fresh tasting!

The Bottom's Up famous Chesapeake pizza. A long time favorite and historically one of the best pizzas in the city. Delicious.

Great service on this cold day. Always in the mood for a slice of Bottom's Up Chesapeake pizza.

It's not your traditional pizza. Not that there is a "Richmond-style" pizza. Let's just say that Bottoms Up is unique for Richmond. My most recent visit was consistent with previous ones. The service is good, but the kitchen a little slow. The pizzas, as described elsewhere, are bready but with generous toppings. I had a slice of the Meat Master (topped with ground beef, Italian sausage, ham, and pepperoni) and it made a tremendous lunch. I hope to return soon for after-work, to enjoy a leisurely pizza feast and a few adult beverages.

I have ordered from this place on several occasions but have never eaten inside until now. What seems to be a hole-in-the-wall joint is cool--small, quaint, dining area with a full bar. The staff is very nice from the moment you walk in the door. In the past, I have enjoyed the Shrimp & Crab Alfredo pasta and different versions of pizza, and they were all delicious. The menu has several options available, so I went with the cheeseburger. Pretty good. Good size, flavor, and a good portion of fries. I will visit more often.

Hector is the coolest, hands down--great energy, great personality, the kind of person who makes you want to come back. Oh and did I mention you can get pizza by the slice! The variety is mind blowing and they always have vegan options!!!!! I'm a thin-slice person. I need the right ratio of crust to sauce to toppings, and Zorch nails it every time. Plus, no flop! The cheese slice is a classic and was my favorite... until I discovered The Upside Down. Listen, when I bite into that slice, I literally close my eyes. I see a lot of people say it's greasy. For this one, grease me down baby. The flavor does everything it needs to do. Layered, bold, and honestly addictive. After that slice, I don't even want a regular one anymore. Next up on my list: The Grandma. And for context, I've had Angelo's in Philly. Respectfully? It doesn't compare. Sorry to all the other grandmothers out there lol. One note though-it's heavy on the garlic, so if that's not your thing, you might want to pivot. If it is your thing? Strap in. It's been a few years since I've been able to say I found a legit pizza spot in RVA. A spot that I bring others to often! I'm happy to say I've found my pizza home. Much love to the Zorch crew. Upon entering we were greeted and the host walked us down to the lower level. We had six tables reserved. The bartender came over immediately and took our drink orders and small plate orders. We didn't want any hookah but it was offered. We later ordered a pizza as well later on. Our food was better than expected. The prawns were flavorful, the meatballs weren't warm enough but had some spice to it and were larger than expected. The Caesar salad had kale and red onion in it which was different. We enjoyed the food and the vibe on the lower level was better. The pizza could use more sauce and the cheese had a nice pull to it. The meat on the pizza didn't taste frozen at all. We had to ask for refills a few times, but the server did a good job considering she had at least 20 people to serve.Overall, better this time around.

The New Yorker was a cheese pizza while The Wire was a Crab Pizza with pesto sauce. I didn't get a picture but the cheese pull was insane on both! The drinks were good as well. I had the "Pornstar Martini" while my cousin had the "Velvet Notes" I love how the restaurant has 3 different parts. The right side was for the conservatives, the left was for the not so conservatives and the basement was where the party and hookah was at. The only downside of this place, was the service. It was sooo slow! Although, our bartender "Devin" made some amazing drinks!
