This was my first time trying Bono's. We ordered one cheese pizza and one pepperoni and jalapeño pizza. It arrived cold, after spending at least 20 minutes on delivery, when I live one mile from the restaurant. The order was also wrong, even though we ordered online. One pizza was pepperoni and one pizza was jalapeño. It also just didn't taste good. They were nice enough to give extra pizza sauce and the delivery driver was nice, so they get 2 stars instead of 1. read more

They had flyers passed out in our neighborhood the beginning of april so I wanted to try them. boy was i wrong tonight 4/22:26 i ordered the guy told me 35 mins . because I left something off the order I went in to ask for add on . the owner i'm sure of it was jokingly rude. He tried to laugh it off but it wasn't pleasant. he said well your order is ready i paid and it seemed high, I took the bags and left. I realize i forgot the drink and receipt so i went back. when comparing the receipts and flyer i realized it was a huge difference i asked he said the prices in the computer was different cause he went up. i asked so why have the flyers he said they were old even though they were at the front counter with the same prices that my flyer had. i left and silly me for not checking the bags but the the pasta didn't have all that was needed and then 2/3 ate the food. the last dish we had was disgusting. 1/10 do not recommended. then they wouldn't even answer the phone to fix the issue . trash is trash NEVER AGAIN. very hurt cause i really wanted them to win since the guy handing out the flyer was such a nice guy. read more

I ordered the chicken parm sub and onion rings. The onion rings were hot, but not special - just frozen meh ones. The sub was ok. The bread was soft. I prefer a crustier roll for a sub like this. The sauce was good, not sweet like some sauces seem to be. The chicken was breast chunks, not the expected breaded filets. The chicken was well seasoned and flavorful, but on the dry side. Overall, ok, but not the best I've had. I would consider trying something in the baked pasta family if I find myself in this area again. (This location is far from my usual stomping grounds.) I didn't love the bread in this sandwich so I wouldn't order a sub again, but the sauce was good so something with pasta would probably be good. read more

Pizza was hot, fresh, and tasted great. Wings were the perfect balance of hot and flavorful and the service was outstanding.

I grew up up north and am very very picky about pizza. I am really torn between 3 and 4 stars. Got 2 pies to go the other night. They were ready pretty quick. Generous cheese and toppings!!!! Heck yea. No grease. Not too much flop. Personally I like a bit more sauce, and a crunchier crust, but the crust flavor was good. Prices were.. average. I'll try again, maybe a sandwich and update this review hopefully to 4 stars. If you want pizza give them a shot! read more

Overall we enjoyed our steak and cheese subs. Next time will ask for extra meat. They were a little skinny but still tasty!

We got the Italian and the Philly cheesesteak subs tonight. The subs were DELICIOUS!!! Total hole in the wall, did not disappoint!!! The bread was legit! Soft and crusty! Would definitely go back!! We have lived down the road from Bono's for about 6 years and hav just recently tried their steak and cheese subs. We' were not let down, they were delicious. Last night we tried the pizza and it was amazing. Some of the better pizza I've had in a while. Will definitely be one of our "go-to" spots for pickup. read more

Highest quality pizza I've found in the whole Chesterfield and Richmond areas. The food is high quality, delicious, and made quickly according to your liking. The service is also very courteous and professional. It's a laid back sort of Pizza place with a great selection, and all the staff are pleasant to customers. My husband picked me up a Chef's salad from here. All of the the ham, salami and cheese were old. I had literally four pieces of green pepper, half a white onion, three cucumber slices and half a head of ice berg lettuce that was brown. A waste of my 8.00. Very disappointed. read more

Their subs are good, the pizza OK, the calzones are huge, I'm not crazy about the pasta (found it to be a little mushy and watery for my taste), but their french fries are out of this world! Another surprise! This place is pretty good, and unassuming. It's priced really well, and they have a pretty decent menu. We just had a pepperoni pizza, but it wasn't overly greasy, and the crust was good. Since we live so close, we'll probably make this our to-go pizza... It was promoted they were available to order from on Grubhub. After placing an order for delivery for two cheesesteaks and fries with more than an hour before closing the order was accepted. I then received a notification 20 minutes later that the order was delayed. After waiting patiently despite this 35 minutes later a notification came in that the order was cancelled and if payment had gone through it could take 5-10 business days for a refund. This is all so ridiculous and completely unacceptable. read more

I've been getting subs and pizza from this place for a couple months and it is honestly one of the best pizza pie shops I've bought from! The store is convenient to where I live, and the food is great! The shop itself seems run down, which I like to see in pizza places but it represents that they put more focus on the food and not the look of the place. All in all, it's an awesome place to grab a submarine sandwich or take a couple cheese pizzas to go! I recommend this to anyone who like's good quality food in a fast amount of time! read more

We've ordered from here several times and always enjoyed it. but tonight they messed up the order. Having to wait 50 min to find out our order was wrong and another 50 min and two phone calls to get it corrected. Add to that having to eat my meal cold because I had to wait for my wife's meal to get here. I'll have to think twice before order from here again any time soon. read more
