I got into a very frustrating accident. I couldn't open the driver's side of my door. They squeezed me in to get a replacement door. Then, a few months later, they made the car look pretty again. When I climbed in, the car was detailed to a shining finish, and in the cup holder was a diamond ring I thought I had lost. Thorough and honest!!!! They kept me informed through the whole process. When I moved to VT two years ago, I was referred to Bouchard's and a couple other repair places. I tried Bouchard's first and I won't go anywhere else. They are very timely, very fair and do excellent work. I had an Uber driver take me there to pick up my car and he told me he has been going there for almost 30 years! My son's girlfriends car needed it's alternator replaced today. She didn't realize what was going on until I had it tested this morning and the alternator was at 11%. I had to get it fixed for her before she got out of work in case she couldn't get to work tomorrow or was stranded with her baby in the car. They fit me right in and fixed it in a few hours. I've always loved this place. I went for the first time for some body work as recommended by my insurance agent. They did an excellent job. The owners are super sweet. They are a little sketchy, but they're always sketchy in your favor. They have always given me great deals, after-market parts, and/or they've directed me to the right places to get the things I need. They never ever did the girl thing with me. In later years, Ron got a digital camera and he would crawl around under my car and take pictures of things and send them to me at work. Then after they were fixed he'd send me the fixed pictures. I love this place and won't ever go anywhere else. The people are really straight forward with you and cut you deals. Like the reviewer before me, I'm a female and I've never gotten taken advantage of because of this like I feel I have at other places around town. I've never trusted mechanics especially beig a girl but these guys are great! I work right across the street from them so it's really convenient to drop it off and they can almost always fit me in. They have done great work, and they are HONEST and FAIR which you don't find much anymore. Dan and Linda are great, very nice and I only take my car there - nowhere else. Just had work done on my car in Rhode Island and the service was so bad that I felt the need to sing my praise for Bouchard & Sons and their excellent service. I brought my car here in September for repairs after a minor but pretty damaging crash, and can not recommend this place enough. It's hard to find a garage that is trustworthy and does good work, but Bouchard & Sons is a good, pure business that looks out for the customers best interest and never feels intimidating or shady, and they do whatever they can to keep you comfortable and in the loop about what's happening to your car. When I had repairs done, they gave me two estimates after I told them that I was a college student-- one with used parts and the cheapest options, and one with full retail repairs. They told me that with the cheapest option, the paint may not match and things may seem slightly off because my car is older, but after getting my car back it looked even better than it did when I got it. I also paid 200$ under quote, which was already fairly inexpensive anyways. Best garage I've ever been to. read more

Just a really positive experience. Had been told I needed my brakes replaced; disc all around. Dan immediately put the car on the rack and showed me I had been given a line. Still 25K or more before replacement. Could not ask for anything better. Total confidence in the guy and his business just for this kind of customer service and professionalism. I'm usually not the type who leaves reviews but I definitely think this garage deserves recognition. I brought my car here after Sears' unsuccessful attempt at a tire alignment. Dan Bouchard spent hours on trying to pinpoint the problem and ended up having to adjust the engine cradle and align the tires again.
