This is the only auto repair I have ever used where I totally trust John to tell me what I need and what I don't need.

DO NOT GO HERE. Our goal was to get a car fixed and support the local women run business. My son…read morebrought his Subaru to Girlington with specific instructions to please check cylinder 3 for misfire and replace plug/coil if needed. What he received was a diagnostics bill for $262.50 and an estimate for$ 7151.50. Way to stress out a hard working young student during finals. Thank god we found Brian's Garage. They saved the day, gained a loyal customer. UPDATE: Invoice #61148. I did call the next day and spoke with Braxton and Naya. We simply wanted the coil/plug replaced to see if that would get my son back on the road. Not only did your team state they would not replace just the plug they also refused to let my son take the car until we paid the diagnostics, we paid even though your website specifically says "Complimentary Diagnostics." By the way, Brian's replaced the plug in cylinder 3 and the car has been perfect since.

I dropped off the car for a state inspection and to get the battery replaced. When I got the…read moreinvoice, there were five additional services listed totaling a little over $1,800. I had the chance to reject them, but it felt like a pretty aggressive way to try to upsell. After I approved only the necessary services, I got a notification later in the day that they had to add one more item to the invoice, a replacement mass airflow sensor. And I couldn't reject it if I wanted to pass the state inspection. I'm pretty skeptical that it was actually necessary, and if it had been included before I'd approved other charges, I'd have felt like I could get a second opinion at another garage. They had to order the mass airflow sensor, so I got my car back in the mean time. When I tried to drive it the next day, I got a warning "Check Hybrid System - Stop Vehicle in a Safe Place." When I stopped at a stoplight, the car wouldn't drive until I turned it off and back on again. I couldn't take it back to Girlington Garage because they'd closed for five days for some company event. I took it to another garage, they ran a diagnostic, and based on the results, I'm pretty sure it's related to Girlington fiddling with the mass airflow sensor. Honestly, I feel kind of scammed. The prices are really high, I feel like they tried to sell me things I don't need (and partially succeeded), and I got back a car I couldn't drive for five days. I will say, the Service Manager, Nya, seems really great.

Right now; I am currently realizing my dream of a better life in a better place. And recently, I purchased a vehicle as my carriage into that nirvana.... I brought it to Midas for them to inspect it. I trusted them. How wrong I was..... They told me my car was on the brink of complete and utter failure. I was devastated.... My dream, now dashed. A single tear fell from eyes as they slithered "FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS." For two moons I did not slumber. But alas, a good friend offered me good counsel. I took it to another shop. An honest shop. A hardworking shop. I would say the name, but I fear this will get this warning removed. This shop informed me that nothing was wrong with my vehicle. I took it for another opinion and was told the same thing. That's when I felt it.... The cold sharp knife in my back. Midas betrayed me, and tried to ruin my dream. And for this, I offer no forgiveness. ANYONE looking for a mechanic go anywhere else but here. These people are not to be trusted. Or negotiated with. HEED MY WARNING! Their only concern is coin. Just quick, simple, and done. The second time I came in was for a state inspection. It took exactly 30 minutes (I watched Netflix on my phone thanks to the free wifi) and was done. As much as I love my local shop, it was so much easier to go to Oil N'GO for the inspection as I didn't have to leave my car all day. Will be back!

They never called us so short before 5 we called to see when we could pick it and no one answered. We stopped by short after 5pm everyone was gone and they kept my keys over night so I couldn't get my car back and they never even locked my car before they left for the night. I left a VM saying what happened no one ever called us back so I had to show up the next day to get my car only to find out they didn't need to replace the mass air flow sensor that we spent close to $600 on and it's the hose that needs to be replace. So they didn't even fix the right thing. The manager was going to follow up with us and get us a price and availability for the part we have followed up twice and asked the manager to call us even though they are supposed to be calling us and they claim they still don't have an ETA on the part and I haven't been able to drive my car for two weeks now. I would definitely not recommend this place.
