A tire blew on our airstream an hour away from our destination. Bouchard was unable to help bc they didn't have the tire we needed, but they pointed us to where we could park safely for the night. Wayne then contacted us the next morning to check on us. We'd picked up a new tire by then, and he stopped by to see if we needed anything and to check out our other tires for us. He wouldn't accept any money. My husband and I haven't experienced customer service and care like that ... perhaps ever. Highly recommend this business to anyone in the area! read more

I got into a pretty bad accident a couple of days ago totaling my car. The sheriff asked who I'd like to use for a tow. I said it doesn't really matter anybody will do as this is my first accident ever. This is the tow company that pulled up to pull my car away and immediately I was shouted at, I need $250 today to tow it away and shouting a bunch of numbers and figures at me until I said I have insurance. The tone changed and then I got a business card saying the insurance will take care of it. He gave me his card to give a call. It's 250 to tow it to my yard $50 a day he said to me. Yesterday 24 hours after the event, my insurance company cut them a $400 check to pay for the tow. Today I showed up to make sure they received payment and I could remove my junk from the lot to scrap it for metal as it's totaled. I showed up to today to make sure payment was received, and thankfully a progressive agent was actually there assessing another vehicle and kindly helped me. If it wasn't for him, I feel like today would've been very different as I was called a liar and told that I didn't pay him and I don't have the proper insurance Along with a bunch of other inaccurate statements. The very nice progressive gentleman took me outside wrote my claim number down, found all of my information and proved the fact that yes the receipt that I was trying to show him on my phone he proved that yes there was a $400 payment submitted yesterday. He didn't care what I was trying to show him or the fact that I did pay. I highly don't recommend using them for anything as they have an exceptionally bad attitude and jump straight to conclusions that are inaccurate when you're just trying to do the right thing. read more

I cannot begin to say how fortunate I was to meet Wayne at Bouchard & Sons Towing. Due to a family tragedy, I was traveling from the Midwest to pick up my daughter's car from them. Wayne had offered to drive the car to the airport so I would not need a rental, he had his son drive me home when I showed up in a taxi but most of all he was aware and open with the pain I was going through at this time and offered his time to just talk. I was on my way to work on a Monday morning and stopped for a coffee. I realized before I returned to my car that I had locked the keys inside. I returned to the car and sure enough it was locked. (NOT the way I wanted to start my Monday, and it was only 6am) I returned to the store, very disappointed in myself and not knowing who to call. First of all, most places do not open until 8 am. I called Bouchard & Sons Towing. The answering service informed me that they would have them call me back. I received the call back within 5 minutes. The person on the other end asked me how I would be paying the driver. I then asked how much it would be as I glanced around the store searching for an ATM. The caller replied $125.00. I said something along the lines of WOW! My AAA had expired in December, and I had decided not to renew. (Big mistake). I said I would be paying cash and the caller informed me that the driver would be there within 30 minutes. The driver arrived within the 30 minutes quoted and had my car unlocked shortly after. I went outside mentally preparing myself to hand over $125. The driver then said to me..."I have 3 things to tell you... 1. give me $25.00, 2. right a review online and 3. pay it forward." My jaw must have visibly dropped, I had to ask him to repeat himself because I didn't think I heard him correctly. I happily gave him the $25 and he was on his way. We got a flat tire on the highway with no spare on our way home from Bangor to the Boston area. Two days into our vacation, we ran over a tire on Route 95 on Sunday afternoon, July 14, 2019 near Plymouth, Maine. Our RV was damaged and leaking hydraulic fluid. I had to submit this review because I was so impressed by the tow services I received today from Bouchard & Sons Towing. I was traveling south on I-95 in Bangor when I smashed into a construction site water tank that had fallen off a pickup truck. I was not familiar with local towing companies so the responding State Trooper called Bouchard Towing for me. The owner Wayne arrived shortly after. He couldn't have been more professional. After I reassured him that I was okay he escorted me to his truck, making doubly sure that I was safely aware of the danger of oncoming traffic and shielding me from it until I was safely in his truck. He contacted the dealership where my car was being towed in order to let them know we were on our way and could they start making the necessary arrangements for me to have a rental car. One day, after nearly having a heart attack at VIP auto in Bangor, I decided enough was enough. I was through going in for an oil change and being told I needed an additional $600 of work done on my car. God forbid I needed an inspection sticker. I don't remember how I found them, but I took my vehicle to Bouchard's & Sons. I believe it was a verbal recommendation from a friend. That was in 2008. Since that time I've taken my vehicle to them many times for various reasons. From an inspection sticker to help getting rid of an old car, these guys do it and do it honestly. Their work is always dependable and certifiable and, most importantly, they are honest. If something is wrong with my car, they physically show me the problem so I feel confident. If I could, I would give this business 100 stars! While on vacation (and driving through Maine), m sister and I were involved in an accident where we hit a deer that ran out in front of us. Wayne responded to the call to tow our car. We were far away from home, distraught after the accident, and felt lost. He was so kind to us, loading our luggage into his truck, helping us to find a hotel for the night, all the while keeping the conversation going to calm us and keep our mind off what had just happened. I am a resident of Norwich Connecticut. Recently I was on an 8 hour drive to lubec Maine. While on 95 north about 5 miles south of Bangor , I experienced a flat tire. I had a car full of 6 people and had very limited funds. Luckily the state police got me in touch with Wayne, the owner of bouchard and sons. He helped me with the whole nine yards. Never have I EVER experienced somebody as professional, knowledge able, and understanding as bouchard and sons. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were all set, taken care of, and back on the road 350 miles away from home and limited with cash. There are no words to say how grateful we are. Wayne is definitely in the top ten BEST people I've met in all of my life. Our Jeep Wrangler broke down on the highway near Bangor, Maine and he was professional and efficient. It was about dusk and we were approximately an hour or so from our destination. The transfer case in our jeep literally fell out. It felt like we were in the middle of no where. The jeep dealership was closed and we felt hopeless that our vacation which we had planned for so long had taken a turn for the worst. These guys are HONEST. He gave us a ride to the airport and had a rental waiting for us. We continued on our way to Bar Harbor and he spent the next few days fixing our jeep and going over it to make sure that we made it back to New York safely. If you're looking for friendly and honest service these are your guys. I must say at first I was skeptical, that's my personality ( I'm always skeptical until I get to know someone). The property where the cars are towed to is secure and clean. You don't have to worry about someone breaking into your car. All the staff was VERY professional and genuinely cared about the customer's needs. He even gave us a keepsake Bouchard's license plate for our little guy who has a car room. I also had a great experience with WAYNE from Bouchard towing. I am from Richmond Maine and had driven to past Bangor to buy a car for my grandaughter that we had seen on Facebook. We were assured the car was in good condition with a slow leak in the steering fluid which we could fix. We started home and driven 20 minutes when the car started to lose power and we pulled to the side of 295. A state trooper arrived within minutes and the car would not turn over or even make a sound. I asked him for a good tow company and he recommended Bouchard Towing. He even had his dispatch call for me. Wayne arrived within 20 minutes and we hooked up and went to the next exit where it was safer to talk. He looked under the hood and I tried to start the car and he then informed me that the engine was blown!!!! He also said the car was not fit for the road since it was all rusted underneath where I could not see. I tried to contact the man I bought it from but he did not answer. Believe it or not, Wayne knew the man personally and called him to tell him the engine was blown. He also said he should do the right thing and give me my money back. Needless to say I had to pay for the tow and Wayne brought the car to his lot to store until the man brings me my money which I truly hope he does.
