It felt tantamount to extortion. While I fully support what photographer do and understand that a lot of work goes into the final product, the outright refusal to work together -- or worse accept any type of non-cash payment -- shows that Michael Carr Photography does not care about long term customer care. We would never consider using them again in the future knowing this is the way past clients are treated. (Not to mention, the wedding photos in question put them on the COVER of The Knot at the time. They got their money's worth in referrals alone.) Choose another photographer who works in the modern age and cares about their customer's experience. Lisa and Michael do not. When our original photographer fell through due to illness, Simon was able to fill in as our backup photographer, along with his second photographer Michael (also amazing). This ended being such a blessing in disguise. Simon has very soft, romantic style to his photography, and leverages mostly film to give photos that natural softness. He was able to capture the most beautiful shots on our wedding day, and despite a very packed wedding day schedule, was able to squeeze in most of the photos we wanted. Not only that, Simon was just a total buddy and was thoughtful, communicative, and sweet throughout the entire planning process. One vivid memory that captures the awesomeness of Simon: we had a Polaroid photo station at the wedding and as the night progressed, our guests forgot about the photo station (they were busy dancing!), but not Simon -- he picked up the Polaroid camera and ended up snapping photos for us while we danced the night away, and stayed way past his contracted time. We ended up getting Polaroids photos, on top of the regular photos that Simon took, that captured the ratchetness of the night which ended up being one of our most treasured memories... Today, we have a whole Polaroid album to be able to look back on and laugh at. Hire Simon! You won't regret it.

Well I believe that 99% of people that receive EXCEPTIONAL service end up writing a positive review about their experience! So here I am reviewing Habashy Photography's exceptional service. Backstory: My wife has been yearning for a family photo session for quite some time now. I, on the other hand, have been avoiding it at all costs. Three reasons: (1) we have a 3-year old, (2) we have a 1-year old, and (3) they're boys. Don't get me wrong. They're adorable and we need to capture as many pictures of them as we can while that cuteness lasts. But herding cats that caught on fire would be easier. Every time I try to picture (no pun intended) how the photo session would go, it ends with the photographer giving us back our money, putting his camera up for sale, and dialing up his psychiatrist. Along comes Habashy. To put it simply, he is the real deal. Talented, patient (I suspect he may even be a toddler-whisperer) and provides excellent all-around customer service. Talent: Not much I can say other than the dude has got an eye for this kind of thing. Habashy has an uncanny ability at turning a seemingly ordinary moment into extraordinary memory with one quick snap. Patient: As previously mentioned, we have 2 high-energy boys with the combined attention span of a fly with severe ADHD. Yet Habashy genuinely displayed the patience of a monk as he somehow got them to sit still, smile and even hug! Customer Service: In my opinion, this is the most important factor that makes or breaks any service regardless of quality. Once again, in this area, Habashy excelled. He was genuinely courteous and listened to all our needs. The turnaround was amazing. We got our pictures the very same day and they looked absolutely breathtaking.
