Saw on social media that when in Napa this should be on your list to stop. It's about 6 miles from central Napa a straight shot and very easy to get to. Nestled in the cute town of Yountville it's centrally located next two other places to eat and have coffee. There isn't an actual parking lot but we were able to find parking quickly on the street for free. As most of the other reviews mentioned. There was a long line to get in and place your order. I would say we were in line 40 minutes or so. It moved pretty quickly though. A lot of people were chatting with each other in line Once you make it inside irs small but filled with so many treats! We ordered a little of everything and it was all delicious! There isn't a place to eat inside so you just take it and maybe put in the oven or microwave for a few seconds just to get it warm. My fav was the danish with raspberry and cream cheese! You can order coffee too if you would like. Definitely make the trip, we went around 6pm and they were still packed so can't say there's a good time to go just be patient!

Yummy pastries all around! Everything I tried hit the spot. I picked up four macarons (chocolate, vanilla, pistachio, and red velvet) and each one was perfectly balanced with a crisp shell and soft, flavorful center. The cream cheese danish was a standout--generously filled and rich without being overly sweet. The pistachio éclair was absolutely delectable, with a smooth, nutty cream that made it hard to share. I also grabbed the Better Nutter and the TKO (Thomas Keller Oreo), both of which were delicious and worth ordering again. The only item I wasn't too into was the Ohoh, though my niece loved it--so it really just comes down to personal taste. Service was friendly and efficient, even with the steady crowd. The bakery itself is pretty small, so expect a line that may stretch out the door, we waited about 15 minutes just to get inside. Still, definitely worth it for the quality of the pastries!

A must visit once you're in Yountville!!!! My bf and I got a plethora of different bakery items including the baguette, peanut butter sandwich, chocolate almond croissant, and lemon tart. Absolutely DELICIOUS. The baguette and their butter were my favorite part. (They make everything in house) Be prepared for at least a 20 min wait!!! But once you order, it's almost immediate!

This adorable little gem in Yountville had a line stretching what felt like half a mile, and honestly? Worth every single step. We stopped in to see what all the buzz was about and left completely obsessed. Don't let the line intimidate you though, it moves surprisingly fast! The shop itself is tiny but mighty, and the moment you walk in, the smell of fresh breads and pastries hits you like a warm hug. Oh, and did we mention it's owned by the legendary Chef Thomas Keller? Yeah, that's reason enough to plant yourself in that line and not look back. I snagged the monkey bread, a blueberry muffin, and a pistachio macaroon, and friends, I have a pro tip: pop those pastries in the microwave for just a few seconds and prepare yourself for pure, warm, buttery greatness. Everything was delicious and perfectly balanced, not too sweet, just right. If you're in Yountville, this stop is non-negotiable!

The ham and cheese croissant sandwich was a hit. Very polite service and we got our order quickly. The cafe is beautiful, especially with their displays of pastries. There were tables outdoors in the beautiful city of a Yountville. Highly recommend checking the bakery out in the morning if you're around Yountville.

Bouchon Bakery is always a must stop for friends, family, and me when we go to Napa. The line moved quickly and excellent staff took our orders and processed purchases professionally and swiftly, as always! Their Kouign Aman is my absolute fav, and I've had my share of Kouign Aman's from numerous bakeries. It's Bouchon Bakery's perfect blend of sweet, buttery, and flaky for me! I finally got to enjoy a Fuhgeddaboudit that my friends have raved about and I ended up devouring this chocolate, sea salt, and caramel Rice Krispies culinary art piece! I also picked up goodies of Netter Better, strawberry and chocolate Oh-Oh's, croissant, and oat meal pecan cookies to treat my family. I tried their cream cheese, flaky pastry, topped with powdered sugar and a cream cheese swirl. Its presentation and taste were exquisite! Until next time, Bouchon Bakery!

A must-go whenever you're in Yountville! The cheese danish and chocolate almond croissant are my absolute favorites -- perfectly flaky, buttery, and just the right amount of sweet. Always worth the stop

Service: despite the line, we ended getting served very quickly. Perfect spot to drop in and get a few items to go. Ambiance: super cute! Food: WOW. Definitely a must stop during a day trip to the Napa area. I wish I could've ordered everything on the menu. The place definitely lives up to the hype. I ordered: - a pistachio macaron which was out of this world and massive. One of the best I've had and I've been to France! I really wish I would've ordered more. - raspberry and almond cake pastry: sweet light and creamy - almond croissant: not overly sweet which was actually really nice! Very crunchy and fluffy even after eating it a few days later. (Just bake with small cup of water in toaster or microwave with a wet towel over) A must stop. Hopefully next time we'll get to try the bistro connected to the bakery. We'll be back! Until then I'll be dreaming of that pistachio macaron!

I came back to Bouchon Bakery twice in one weekend around 12:15pm on a Saturday, and 10:30am on a holiday Monday - both times were was a line that moved relatively quickly. The service is always quick and efficient, and you order first before paying at the register further down the line. Both times, we were lucky to grab the one open table outside - though typically people move on quickly after eating their goodies so tables open up relatively quickly. This time we tried a few new things: -cheese roll: this was pleasantly cheesy with a bit of a hearty crust on the outside but light and fluffy on the inside -oh oh: perfectly light, not too heavy or sweet dessert -blueberry muffin: this was nice and light, with a good amount of juicy blueberries, and not too sweet -ham and cheese baguette with tomato soup: we got this as part of the restaurant month offering, and were pleasantly surprised by how rich, creamy, and flavorful the tomato soup was! It came out pipping hot, and was nice and thick - perfect for both sipping on and for dipping our toasted baguette sandwhich in. The baguette was perfectly crusty without tearing up the top of your month, and with a good elastic pillowy-ness inside, and there was a decent amount of cheese and ham. Overall, a great meal, especially for the restaurant month price. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other goodies, and highly recommend trying the soup if you're craving something more filling and savory when you're here!

Drove through town and so glad I stopped into this bakery. There was a line when I arrived late Saturday afternoon. It goes fast. The bakery is really small but I loved what I ordered. Ordered the cream cheese Danish, so good with raspberry filling inside. The cream cheese wasn't too sweet, crust was perfectly flaky. Also ordered the raspberry danish. It was delicious. The third item i tried was the better nutter cookie. It was filled with a creamy peanut butter. It was really really good. I'll definitely be back to try more pastries. There's a few tables outside to sit & enjoy your pastries.

After a bad experience at Bouchon I was hesitant about heading to the bakery. But the bakery was amazing!!! The pastries were excellent and the bread was top tier, like seriously, top tier. The coffee was delicious and there was a variety of options.

The $3.50 macaron is very big and chewy. It was chewy and dense, I like them more light and airy
    Lori I.

Before you freak out about paying $5.75 for each macaron, know that it's the size of your palm. They are super sized macarons which you could possibly share. Also, you're in Yountville where everything costs more. I was disappointed there were only 3 flavors: raspberry, pistachio, and salted caramel. I just read my review from 9 yrs ago stating that they were chewy and stale back then. They still are. However, the texture was different for each flavor, the pistachio one was more crisp, light and airy on the outside, and then moist and chewy inside, the way I like it. The other 2 were more stale and chewy all the way. The line was out the door and I waited 40 minutes, once you're inside you need to make quick decisions, so look online while you're waiting or send someone in to take pics of current offerings so you don't hold up the line while deciding what to order. The other reviews about flies were true on the day I went. They have breads and pastries out in the open and the flies are all over.

I do always love my visits to Bouchon. This time was no different. An Americano and a cappuccino. They did not disappoint. I also had the Almond croissant and a moist, delicious cream cheese roll danish. I took to go a couple bags of the shortbreads. A bit pricey at $13 plus for 6 pieces but worth a try and that is what I did. The seating in the outside courtyard was glorious and we were able to enjoy the sun this late morning before it got busy. Such a beautiful visit and walk around Yountville.

Chef Thomas Keller is known for precision, discipline, and an almost obsessive attention to detail. His style is refined, technical, and rooted in classic French technique, elevated with modern creativity. Every course reflects that philosophy, clean flavors, flawless execution, and zero shortcuts. The restaurant holds three Michelin stars, the highest distinction, and has been considered one of the best restaurants in the world for many years. We secured a reservation for four at 7:00 PM, which in itself feels like an achievement. There are not many tables for two, so getting a reservation for a pair is extremely difficult. The best approach is to try for a reservation of four or more for the main dining room. Larger groups may find private dining easier to book. The evening runs long, over four hours. It is not rushed at all. By around the sixth course, I was already full, but the progression keeps you engaged. Each dish is small but rich, layered, and intentional. They add additional complimentary courses to the experience! The experience starts in the waiting area inside the restaurant with a welcome toast. Once seated, you are given personalized menus, which adds a thoughtful touch. At the end, they send you home with custom cookies and a chocolate bar, small details that reinforce the experience. For my birthday, they went further, surprising me with a bottle of sparkling wine engraved with my name. That level of personalization felt genuine. Logistics were straightforward. Parking was easy, we parked across the street. The dinner was prepaid through Tock, which simplifies the process. There are also optional add ons to the tasting menu, like truffle mac and cheese and wagyu beef. Tip is already included and you can add additional tip if you desire! They are also flexible with dietary needs, one person in our group was vegetarian, and the kitchen accommodated seamlessly without compromising quality. Overall, it is one of the best dining experiences of my life and I will definitely go back again. I would choose an earlier reservation next time so dinner does not run so late into the night. Everything is exceptional from start to finish. Cool fact: Governor Gavin Newsom was caught eating here during the COVID lockdowns! Pros: Scenic landscape with ample views and photo opportunities Dog friendly Knowledgeable staff that go above and beyond Generous pours Family owned and it feels like it - they have limited tables and this really shows as they prioritize quality over quantity Among many other pros , there is only one "potential con" and that is that they don't serve food here so just make sure u don't come hungry .

But, boujee doesn't have to be 24/7. Casual is relaxing, and Goosecross is the perfect place for a fun and relaxing tasting experience in Yountville. I came here with a large group of ladies and we really enjoyed ourselves. Antoine was our host and we had so much fun with him! He kept us on our toes during our entire tasting. He made us laugh, told us interesting stories, and also explained each wine that we were tasting. I wouldn't say that our group was rowdy.... but we were drankin'. And you know what happens when the gals be drinkin'! Mm hmm... we got a bit excited and little loud. However, Antoine handled our large party well and we so appreciated him for it. Speaking of rowdy; this is definitely a tasting room with a youthful glow. There aren't crazy drunks and it's not super loud, but it seems like this is where the larger groups like to hang out and truly have a kick back time. It's just fun! It's a fun time. Their patio is all the rave. There were several other large parties tasting out on the patio as well that day. Their indoor tasting room is really cute. There's a smallish tasting bar inside, but the patio area is nestled amongst their lovely vineyards. The photo opportunities are endless, and Antoine was nice enough to snap some photos of us during our visit. When it comes to the wines, I definitely enjoyed their white wines more than their reds. I loved their Gewurtztraminer and their Sauvignon Blanc was tasty too. The red wines that we tasted were just okay. Even their $150 Cab Sauv tasted a bit young, but just my personal opinion. My group and I really had a blast tasting here. I will definitely come back for a future tasting when I'm back in Yountville.

What I got for $14 was two slices of very dry bread, a stack of thin turkey slices, two curled pieces of mild cheddar cheese (on a turkey sandwich?), a single limp leaf of lettuce and a packet of yellow mustard (Heinz) and mayo. No tomato, no seasoning, no balance of flavors. Just dry bread, turkey, and cheese that doesn't even belong on this type of sandwich. The wrap didn't list ingredients and the deli counter was closed, so there was no way to ask questions or customize anything. I ended up stuck with a premade option that felt like something from a hospital cafeteria rather than a market in the Napa Valley. The bread could have saved it, but even that was just a bland sweet roll with no texture or character. For $13+ they could at least use a decent bread from one of the many local bakeries. As a local, it's disappointing because visitors assume places in Yountville will reflect the food reputation of the area. Unfortunately this didn't come close. I've seen similar feedback in other reviews for the deli, and after this experience I understand why. The sad part is those reviews date back for years and they have obviously fallen on deaf ears. Vote with your dollars folks. If you're heading up valley and want a good sandwich, you're honestly better off stopping at Genova in Napa on the way or continuing just a few minutes up the road to Oakville Grocery. If you only need a quick bottle of wine this is a place for you. I rarely say this, but this was a "never again" for me.
