Lies and Delays: It took them two weeks just to coordinate a technician's visit. During this time, they repeatedly lied, claiming they couldn't reach me, which was clearly not the case. 2. Broken Promises: When the technician finally arrived, he explicitly stated that the motor replacement would be covered under warranty and provided at no cost, with a maximum wait time of 1-2 months. 3. Outrageous Pricing: After the visit, they completely contradicted their own technician. They demanded $819 ($599 for the part + $220 for installation) for a motor on a sofa that is still under warranty! This is nearly the price of a brand-new sofa. 4. Unreasonable Timelines: They originally quoted 3-4 months for a part that should take 6 weeks max via sea freight. Only after I pushed back did they "generously" offer air freight, but they are still insisting on charging me nearly $900. Fouka has shown a complete lack of integrity and transparency. They use manipulative tactics to avoid warranty obligations and provide conflicting information between their field staff and office. Save your money and your nerves - buy elsewhere. I will be taking this matter to small claims court.

Most items are rather affordable (still cheaper than department store prices) and the selection is great! I don't understand why there are such low ratings here. I'm sure many people here are just browsing, and I rather have a sales rep give us the space and only come to us if we need help and seriously find a piece we're considering. So I have no issues with how no one really came up to us. There's a lot of lighting, but personally, not enough contemporary/modern lighting to our liking. We did take some pictures of the few we liked that are more contemporary-inspired. However, we don't love it enough to pull the trigger. The prices for the lighting are very high for the ones we looked at, about $1500 (for that round chandelier) to $5600 (Criss Cross silver lighting). We liked the look of the round chandelier the most. To our surprise, our neighbour has the same one. So loses that unique appeal. Also don't know how we would change the light if it burns out? Lighting is all personal preference. This trip nothing really screamed "this is the one" for us. If you're into other design themes like traditional, industrial, mid-century modern etc, you may find there is more to your liking than the modern/contemporary styles here. She called the manufacturer while we were looking at this table in the store - to find out what the estimated delivery date would be. And with that information, we decided to buy this coffee table. Plus, the two men who delivered and assembled the table for us today were very polite and very careful with unpacking the table on the porch and carefully carrying and assembling it in our living room. I highly recommend this Newmarket location!
