Boulangerie Saint Georges is a nice place for an outdoor coffee meetup. It's centrally located and has nice patio seating. Unfortunately, the mozzarella and tomato sandwich wasn't European let alone French. The bread wasn't on a traditional baguette. It was on multigrain (not white) baguette. Also, for anyone with a nut alergy, it has pesto. It didn't list pesto near the sandwich case from what I could recall. The service was quick and easy. I didn't try any pastries. I was craving a fresh French baguette. I thought this would be a great place to try one. Next time, I'll try a pastry and coffee.

AMAZING food and pastries! I will be back to try more. My coffee was amazing, but my only nit picky complaint was I wish the matcha had less milk. It was very watered down.

I stopped in for the first time today to satisfy my sweet tooth. I popped in during the lunch hour so the line was pretty long but it moved quickly. They had someone with a portable credit card machine walking through so I was able to quickly check out with them. I picked up two pastries and both looked and tasted delicious. I got the chocolate hazelnut praline and the vanilla praline. I would definitely come back to grab more of their dessert items. They have ample seating inside the store and on the patio.

Have you tried the flan yet? Delicious! Flan was really good! The first bite you get a smooth and creamy taste that melts into your mouth. I love the balance of sweetness that is not over powering. I got the raisin pastry that was not too sweet and nice balance with the raisins. I got my favorite: Ice latte with hint of Vanilla with my milk choice of almond milk. The best! I enjoyed my time outside and the team's service always very kind and the ambiance is beautiful.

After months and months of waiting, Boulangerie Saint Georges from Paris opened quickly in the heart of Eastern Market. Hosting their first USA location, locals lined up every day within the first week of opening. Overall, it's a great experience! The line moved quicker than expected. The displays show off many pastries from chocolate croissants to quiche to other pastries, salads, and more. I ordered a latte, chocolate croissants, and a bacon quiche. Everything was solid, especially the latte, which uses coffee roasted in Italy. I ordered a small and the cup was half latte and half foam, but it still tasted strong. The bacon quiche includes walnuts, a unique and welcome touch. The chocolate croissant was warm and tasty, but not as good as Pluma's. There's outdoor seating and a few places to sit inside. If you're local, sign up for their rewards program.

A popular neighborhood bakery that brings a delightful taste of France to DC, with the warm aroma of freshly baked bread and butter filling the air. Expect a wait during peak hours and limited seating, but the flaky, golden pastries and satisfying sandwiches make it well worth it. The brioche was rich, pillowy, and buttery, while the baguette offered a crisp crust and tender interior that was simple yet deeply flavorful. Although vegan options were limited, there were still enjoyable choices to savor. The coffee and lattes were smooth and comforting, but the pastries were the true stars--beautifully crafted, fragrant, and irresistibly fresh. A charming spot for a relaxed breakfast or an indulgent afternoon treat.

There's been a lot of hype around this place, so I decided to check it out. I came on a Friday morning at 10:30, so the line wasn't too long. I did still have to wait about 30 minutes. They had a ton of croissants but didn't seem to have a lot of sweet pastries left, which is what I was most interested in. I ended up getting a veggie sandwich on a baguette, and it came with greens, cucumber, tomatoes, feta, olives, and mayo. The sandwich tasted alright and was reasonably priced. The staff was super friendly but I wish they had more sweet pastry option left. I'll come back at least one more time to try one for their sweets.

The magic has arrived to eastern market !! We were so excited to connect our business to theirs with highlighting the deliciousness and true craftsmanship this team is bringing to the neighborhood! Ingredients sourced directly from France and intricate pastries bread and artisanal coffee fills the space!! The staff are a beautifully oiled machine and this place will be a force to be reckoned with !! Check out opening weekend shots! Also the interior exterior are sleek and chic!

Matcha is to die for! Absolutely amazing!

Amazing coffee. My favorite is matcha! LOVE the pastries and options they have. French environment! Love the atmosphere and pictures throughout the shop. AND actual food is made not only with French imported ingredients, BUT by French men! They're hot too! Swing by ladies to get French food and steal a look at the French men! It's fantastique and Mille mercis for coming to Washington DC! Wonderful service all done with love and care! Do not walk here RUN! It's so very lovely. They sell out by 2pm!

Even though we got our drinks and food to go, I couldn't help but admire the cute ceramics and overall aesthetic of the space. I ordered the lavender latte, which was good but didn't completely wow me. My husband and I also shared the bread pudding, and that was definitely the highlight. He gave it a 9/10, and I'd have to agree, it was delicious and the perfect treat to enjoy while walking around the pier. One thing to note is that prices are definitely on the higher side. I noticed the avocado toast was around $18, and while it looked nice, it didn't seem particularly special for the price. Overall, a very cute café with a great atmosphere and an excellent bread pudding. A lovely stop while visiting the Wharf.

We placed our orders and found a table right away. I enjoyed one of the World Cup Pastries - Argentina - that had a guava filling. It was really good and creative. We ordered peach pie matcha and an iced chai latte both with almond milk. When we got the matcha, it definitely was made with dairy milk. They were willing to remake quickly. The chai latte was alright. Felt watered down quite a bit so will likely try something different next time. A nice place to grab a coffee and catch up! The food others were enjoying looked fabulous!

While the shop looks amazing, the coffee was extremely basic. I ordered an iced latte and I could not taste the espresso. The cinnamon Kouign-amann was extremely dry, as was the chocolate chip cookie. When you tried to break the cookie in half it essentially exploded into crumbs. They do have a lot of seating, but there were many single people taking up 4-person tables so it was difficult to find a place for 4 of us to sit. The staff wasn't unpleasant, but they also were not very friendly. They did keep the line moving as fast as they could. Again, the shop is beautiful and bright. The branding on their bags is adorable. Their cutlery is wrapped and there is washi tape with their name on it holding it together. Their drinks and food are served on very nice dishes. I just wish that the coffee and pastries tasted as good as everything looks.

The subs are large and the bread is fresh, but between the massive amounts of shredded lettuce and the thickness of the bread, the meat on my turkey sandwich gets swallowed alive to where I'm constantly opening it up to look for and re-adjust.
